The Wild Hunt update in Legacy Piece adds a lengthy questline to unlock a powerful weapon. It includes gathering memories, soul farming, boss fights, and a challenging mini-game, not a quick grind by any means.

The questline tests your character’s build as it ramps up in difficulty, especially the coffin escort and portal stages where reckless play punishes heavily. Many players get stuck farming souls or the fishing materials needed for crafting, so pacing yourself matters.

Before starting, check your inventory and prepare your build to tackle both farming and boss fights. Having some friends for later stages can save lots of frustration when the enemies get tougher.

Getting Wild Hunt is not a quick process. You will need to collect memories, farm souls, complete boss challenges, gather fishing materials, clear a difficult mini-game, and eventually enter a dangerous portal. This Legacy Piece Wild Hunt guide covers the full process in order so you can avoid unnecessary backtracking.

  • Legacy Piece Codes

The first step is to find the Wild Hunt NPC on Graveyard Island. This NPC offers the ongoing quests needed to unlock the weapon and updates your objectives as you progress. Ensure your character’s level and gear are ready since early tasks are manageable, but later challenges require serious power or help from others. The update also improves the UI, including health and skill displays, helping you track the quest easily.

Your Wild Hunt journey starts at the Graveyard Island, where you can find the Wild Hunt NPC. This character gives you the quests required to unlock the weapon and explains the next objective as you progress.

Before starting, it is worth checking your inventory and making sure your character is strong enough for the later stages. The early quests are manageable, but the final parts become much harder and may require help from other players.

The update also introduces changes to the user interface, including a refreshed health display and a new skill interface. These changes make the new content easier to follow while you work through the Wild Hunt questline.

Next, players must collect four distinct memories scattered across specific islands. Use the quest tab to locate them without guesswork. The memories are found on Legacy Island, Jujutsu Island, Hollow Island, and Seventh Company Island. All four are mandatory before moving on.

The first major objective is to find four memories hidden across different islands. These locations can be checked through the quest tab, so make sure you look there if you are unsure where to go next.

The four islands involved in this part of the quest are:

  • Legacy Island
  • Jujutsu Island
  • Hollow Island
  • Seventh Company Island

You will need to visit each island and collect its required memory. Make sure you finish all four before moving forward, as these items will be needed again later in the questline.

Farm 1,000 Souls

After memories, it’s time to farm 1,000 souls. Luckily, multiple activities contribute toward this goal, including boss defeats and contracts.

The soul rewards break down as follows: Global Boss grants 200 souls, defeating the level 25,000 boss grants 20 souls per kill, Legendary Contracts give 25 souls, and Mythic Contracts offer 30 souls each.

Completing the requirement to defeat the level 25,000 boss 25 times is especially efficient—nearly half the souls come from this alone while fulfilling other quest objectives.

The soul rewards include:

  • Global Boss: 200 Souls
  • Level 25,000 Boss: 20 Souls
  • Legendary Contract: 25 Souls
  • Mythic Contract: 30 Souls

You need a total of 1,000 souls for this part. You also have several additional objectives to complete, including defeating level 25,000 bosses 25 times, clearing Index or Time Save five times, defeating a Global or World Boss, and completing contracts.

The level 25,000 boss requirement is especially useful because 25 defeats can give you close to 500 souls by themselves. Because of that, you can make solid progress toward the 1,000-soul requirement while completing the other objectives instead of focusing entirely on soul farming.

Complete the Coffin Escort Challenge

Once souls are gathered, take on the coffin escort challenge. Interact with the coffin near the Wild Hunt NPC on Graveyard Island and carry it along a marked route, avoiding damage.

Red danger circles and Dullahan’s presence on later islands increase the difficulty. The good news: progress saves after each map, so failing doesn’t mean restarting from scratch.

This starts another challenge where you need to transport the coffin through a marked route. The important part is avoiding damage while following the path. Red circles will appear in the early maps, and stepping into them can cause problems.

The challenge eventually becomes more difficult. On the third and fourth islands, you also need to watch out for Dullahan, which is indicated by a red line.

There is some good news here: your progress is saved. If you fail on a particular map, you do not have to repeat every previous section. You can continue from the stage where you failed, which makes this long challenge much less frustrating.

Get the Pearl

Obtaining the Pearl can be done two ways: AFK fishing until 1,000 catches guarantee it or defeating Dullahan near the Wild Hunt NPC 25 times.

Farming Dullahan might be much faster if your build handles the boss efficiently; otherwise, AFK fishing remains a reliable but slower alternative.

The first option is AFK fishing. The Pearl is guaranteed after reaching 1,000 catches, making this a slower but reliable method if you are already planning to fish for other materials.

The second option is defeating Dullahan 25 times. Dullahan can be found near the Wild Hunt NPC on Graveyard Island, so you can repeatedly fight the boss to work toward the Pearl requirement.

Choose whichever method fits your build and available time. If your character can defeat Dullahan quickly, boss farming may be considerably faster than waiting through a large number of fishing catches.

Gather Tidal Silk and Sea Glass

With the Pearl and memories in hand, travel to Seventh Company Island to meet the Wandering NPC requesting Pearl, Memories, plus Tidal Silk and Sea Glass, both fishing materials.

It’s practical to gather Tidal Silk and Sea Glass while working toward the Pearl to avoid separate fishing grinds.

You need:

  • Pearl
  • Four Memories
  • Tidal Silk
  • Sea Glass

Tidal Silk and Sea Glass can be obtained through fishing. Because fishing is involved in this part of the quest, you may want to collect these materials while working toward the Pearl rather than treating every requirement as a completely separate grind.

After gathering everything, you can begin crafting the required item.

The crafting stage involves a rhythm mini-game with three lives. Using keyboard keys Z and C offers more precise control than a mouse, which can make timing tricky. Failing costs Tidal Silk and Sea Glass but not the Pearl or Memories, so patience beats rushing to avoid wasting resources.

The crafting process includes a rhythm-style mini-game that can be surprisingly difficult. You have three lives, and failing all three means you will need to attempt the mini-game again.

Using a mouse can make the challenge harder because you need fairly precise timing. Keyboard controls can be easier to manage, especially when using the Z and C keys at the correct moments.

If you fail, there is still some good news. Your Pearl and Memories are not lost. However, another attempt requires additional Tidal Silk and Sea Glass, so repeated failures can quickly become expensive.

Take your time during this section rather than trying to rush through it. Getting familiar with the timing is much better than repeatedly wasting your fishing materials.

Next, defeat every MK boss listed in your quest log. They can be tackled on any difficulty comfortable to you. After each boss, their reflection spawns and must be defeated as well. Follow the quest order instead of jumping around to avoid mistakes.

The next objective is much more straightforward: every MK must die.

You will be given a large list of bosses that need to be defeated. The bosses can be fought on any difficulty, so use the difficulty that you can clear most comfortably.

After defeating each boss, a reflection will appear that also needs to be defeated. Because the sequence may matter, it is safer to follow the order shown by the quest instead of randomly jumping between bosses.

Go through the list one by one and make sure every required boss and its reflection have been defeated before returning to the Wild Hunt NPC.

Return to the Wild Hunt NPC to access the portal stage. Up to three additional players can join, which is highly recommended given the tougher enemies inside. If tackling solo, ensure your damage, survivability, and build are solid to survive this leg.

After completing the MK boss objective, return to the Wild Hunt NPC once again. This time, you will gain access to the portal for the next stage.

The portal allows you to bring up to three additional players with you. This can be extremely useful because the enemies inside are much more dangerous than the earlier quest objectives.

If your build is not strong enough to handle the content alone, find experienced players who can help carry the run. Going into the portal with an underpowered build can result in a very difficult fight.

For solo players, make sure your damage, survivability, and overall build are ready before attempting this stage.

The final challenge requires acquiring a specific title drop and extra materials. Use the Wild Hunt NPC as your checklist to avoid spending resources unnecessarily, as requirements depend on quest progress. Once completed, you unlock the Wild Hunt weapon.

The final portal challenge is not the end of the grind. You still need to obtain a specific title drop and collect additional materials before the Wild Hunt weapon can finally be completed.

The exact requirements can be checked directly through the Wild Hunt NPC. Since these requirements can depend on your current quest progress, always use the NPC as your checklist before spending resources.

Once everything has been collected, you can finally complete the required process and obtain access to the Wild Hunt weapon.

The Wild Hunt weapon’s passive points unlock new features, culminating in Dullahan Mode, which alters both appearance and performance, adding significant power. The base weapon already hits hard, but Dullahan Mode makes the long grind worth it with enhanced damage and visual style.

The Wild Hunt weapon becomes more interesting as you build up its passive points. Progressing through the passive system eventually unlocks Dullahan Mode, which significantly changes the way the weapon looks and performs.

The weapon already has strong damage in its base state, while Dullahan Mode gives it another level of power and visual flair. This makes the extremely long questline feel more worthwhile once you finally reach the end.
