Anime Zero players can significantly improve their combat effectiveness by selecting the right damage build. Damage output depends not just on your weapon but also on factors like trait, gear, title, and skill tree configuration.

Two prominent damage builds stand out: one emphasizing raw damage with quicker skill usage, and the other enhancing critical hit chance and damage. Weapons remain the same for both, but other elements diverge to support each build’s strengths.

Before committing, ensure your weapon is awakened to unlock its ultimate skill, which is pivotal to maximizing damage outputs in either build.

There are two strong damage builds to consider. The first focuses on raw damage and faster skill rotations, while the second focuses on critical hits. Both can use the same main weapons, but the trait and gear are different.

  • Anime Zero Codes

The Full Damage Build focuses on delivering reliable and consistent DPS by boosting overall damage along with attack speed and cooldown reduction. This setup suits players who want steady damage flow without relying solely on critical hits. Weapons like Cursed King , Cataclysm , or Flame Director fit perfectly here, making awakening essential to unlock their ultimate capabilities. Recommended Full Damage Build setup: Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director (Awakened) Skill Tree: Attack + Critical Trait: Supernova Gear: Blast Archer Crown Title: Flame Director

The Full Damage Build is the best option if you want steady and consistent DPS. It focuses on increasing your overall damage while also giving you more attack speed and cooldown reduction.

For the weapon, you can use Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director. Make sure to awaken your weapon so you can unlock its ultimate skill and get more damage during fights.

The recommended setup is:

  • Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director
  • Weapon: Awakened
  • Skill Tree: Attack + Critical
  • Trait: Supernova
  • Gear: Blast Archer Crown
  • Title: Flame Director

Prioritize the Attack skill branch first since it grants a 60% damage boost, directly amplifying hits. Next, develop the Critical branch to acquire a 15% critical chance, enhancing damage spikes without making critical hits the sole damage source.

For the skill tree, focus on the Attack and Critical branches. The fully upgraded Attack branch gives 60% more damage, while the Critical branch gives 15% critical chance. Attack should be your first priority because it gives a direct damage boost. After that, invest in Critical to increase your chances of landing stronger attacks.

The Supernova trait is the cornerstone of this build, offering a multifaceted boost. It provides 24% extra damage, 20% increased attack speed, 12% cooldown reduction, and 3 movement speed. The combination of damage increase, faster attacks, and shorter skill cooldowns leads to higher sustained DPS over time.

Supernova is the main trait for this build. It gives several useful stats at the same time.

The bonuses include:

  • 24% more damage
  • 20% attack speed
  • 12% cooldown reduction
  • 3 movement speed

The damage bonus is the biggest reason to use Supernova, but the attack speed and cooldown reduction are also very useful. You can attack faster and use your skills again sooner.

Blast Archer Crown

Blast Archer Crown gear synergizes well with the Supernova trait by adding 20% more damage, 12% more health, 7% cooldown reduction, and a 7% drop rate increase.

While more costly than other options, it delivers a substantial direct damage boost, especially beneficial with the faster skill activations provided by the trait.

  • 20% more damage
  • 12% more health
  • 7% cooldown reduction
  • 7% drop rate

The extra damage works perfectly with Supernova. The cooldown reduction also lets you use your abilities more often.

The Crown is more expensive than the gear used for the critical build, but it gives a much larger direct damage bonus.

The Flame Director title complements this build by adding 15% more damage, 20% increased health, 3.5 movement speed, 5% cooldown reduction, and 5% drop rate. To unlock this title, complete the associated raid as the Flame Director class without using your ultimate, which can be a bit challenging but well worth the reward.

Flame Director is the recommended title for this setup. To unlock it, you need to complete the required raid while playing as Flame Director without using your ultimate.

The title gives:

  • 15% more damage
  • 20% more health
  • 3.5 movement speed
  • 5% cooldown reduction
  • 5% drop rate

This makes it another strong source of damage and cooldown reduction for the build.

The Critical Damage Build takes a different approach by boosting critical hit power rather than raw damage. It leverages critical chance and critical damage increases to maximize burst damage potential. Weapons remain the same: Cursed King , Cataclysm , or Flame Director , with awakening mandatory to access their ultimate skills. Recommended Critical Damage Build setup: Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director (Awakened) Skill Tree: Attack + Critical Trait: Dead Eye Gear: Sunglasses Title: Flame Director

The second setup focuses on critical hits. Instead of putting most of its power into direct damage, this build increases your critical chance and critical damage. You can still use Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director as your weapon. Awakening the weapon is also important because it gives you access to its ultimate. The recommended setup is:

  • Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director
  • Weapon: Awakened
  • Skill Tree: Attack + Critical
  • Trait: Dead Eye
  • Gear: Sunglasses
  • Title: Flame Director

The Dead Eye trait is crucial here, granting 20% more damage, 5% extra critical chance, and a massive 50% critical damage increase. The 50% critical damage bonus is especially impactful for ramping up burst damage when critical hits land. This build relies on stacking critical chance alongside Dead Eye’s critical damage bonus for frequent high-damage hits.

Dead Eye is the main trait for this build. It is especially useful because it provides both damage and critical stats.

The trait gives:

  • 20% more damage
  • 5% critical chance
  • 50% critical damage

The 50% critical damage bonus is the main reason to use Dead Eye. However, you also need enough critical chance to trigger those stronger hits regularly.

Sunglasses are the ideal gear for this critical setup, providing 3% extra damage, 11% critical chance, 1 movement speed, 5% more coins, and 4% more health. Unlike the Full Damage Build, direct damage is less prioritized here; critical hit chance is the focus, making Sunglasses valuable for consistently triggering powerful critical hits.

Sunglasses are the best gear option for this setup.

They provide:

  • 3% more damage
  • 11% critical chance
  • 1 movement speed
  • 5% more coins
  • 4% more health

The 3% damage bonus is much lower than the Blast Archer Crown’s 20%. However, Sunglasses are not being used for their direct damage.

The important stat is the 11% critical chance. This works together with Dead Eye and the Critical skill branch to give the build a much higher chance of landing critical hits.

Total critical chance comes from three sources, adding up to 31%: Critical skill branch: 15% Dead Eye trait: 5% Sunglasses gear: 11% This means roughly one in three attacks can critically hit, though actual outcomes vary due to chance. Over longer fights, this substantially increases opportunities to benefit from the 50% critical damage boost.

The critical build gets critical chance from three different sources:

  • Critical skill branch: 15%
  • Dead Eye: 5%
  • Sunglasses: 11%

This gives the build a total of 31% critical chance.

A 31% critical chance does not mean every third attack will always be a critical hit. Critical hits are based on chance, so the results can vary between attacks.

However, over a longer fight, the higher critical chance gives you more opportunities to take advantage of Dead Eye’s 50% critical damage.

Choosing between the Full Damage and Critical Damage builds depends on your available gear and playstyle. The Full Damage Build offers consistent damage with strong synergy between Supernova, Blast Archer Crown, and Flame Director title, but requires more costly gear. The Critical Damage Build is a solid alternative if you already have Dead Eye or prefer easier-to-acquire gear like Sunglasses, focusing on maximizing critical hits instead of raw damage. Both setups work well, so use whatever suits your current progression and upgrade as you gather better equipment and skills.

The Full Damage Build is better if you want consistent DPS. Supernova, Blast Archer Crown, and Flame Director all provide direct damage, while the extra attack speed and cooldown reduction help you keep attacking.

The Critical Damage Build is better if you already have Dead Eye or want a cheaper gear option. Sunglasses are easier to work toward than the Blast Archer Crown, and their critical chance works well with Dead Eye.

Choose the Full Damage Build if you already have Supernova and the materials for Blast Archer Crown. Choose the Critical Build if you have Dead Eye or prefer to spend fewer resources on gear.

Both builds are strong, so you do not need to wait for every perfect item before starting. Use the best items you already have, awaken your weapon, upgrade your skill tree, and improve the rest of the build as you progress.
