In this post, I’ll show you how to get both the Water Siblings and The Hand Demon badges in Roblox Demon Slayer 3D RP. These two badges are connected to the same Final Selection mini-game, so you don’t need to search for two different locations or complete completely separate quests.

The interesting part is that the badge you receive depends on how many players from your squad survive the final boss fight. I found that the entire run follows the same process for both badges, but the outcome changes depending on whether your full four-player team is still alive when the Hand Demon is defeated.

If you’re trying to collect both badges, I’ll explain exactly how the Final Selection mini-game works, how to start a run, what you need to do during the three enemy waves, and how to make sure your squad survives long enough to unlock The Hand Demon badge.

How to Get the Water Siblings and The Hand Demon Badges in Demon Slayer 3D RP

Both badges come from defeating the Hand Demon at the end of the Final Selection mini-game.

The reward you receive depends entirely on your squad’s survival count when the boss reaches zero health.

Boss Fight Result Badge You Get
All 4 players survive The Hand Demon
Fewer than 4 players survive Water Siblings for the surviving players

So, if everyone in your four-player squad stays alive until the Hand Demon is defeated, you’ll unlock The Hand Demon badge.

However, if even one player dies during the boss fight, the surviving players will receive the Water Siblings badge instead.

This actually makes Water Siblings easier to get accidentally, while The Hand Demon requires a coordinated run where nobody gets eliminated.

What You Need Before Starting

Before you can enter the Final Selection mini-game, you need a full group of four players.

The game won’t start if there are only one, two, or three players standing in the queue. You need to wait until the player counter reaches 4/4 before the teleport countdown begins.

You’ll need:

  • Four players in the Final Selection queue
  • Access to the Final Selection location through the Teleport menu
  • A character selected during the intermission

If you’re playing on a quiet server, getting four random players together can take some time. I recommend joining a more populated server if the queue isn’t filling up.

You can also bring friends with you, which is especially helpful if you’re trying to get The Hand Demon badge and need everyone to survive.

How to Reach Final Selection

Start Demon Slayer 3D RP and enter the game normally.

Once you’re in, open the Teleport menu.

Look through the available destinations and select Final Selection.

After teleporting there, follow the path through the wisteria forest.

Keep moving forward until you reach the open area containing the mini-game queue.

Join the Four-Player Queue

When you reach the queue area, look for the marked teleportation square.

Simply stand inside it and wait for other players to join.

The game will display a player counter showing how many people are currently waiting.

You need the counter to reach:

Players 4/4

Once all four spots are filled, the game will display a teleport message and send everyone into the Final Selection arena.

After entering, you’ll get an intermission period where you can choose your character.

I recommend picking your character quickly rather than waiting until the timer is almost finished.

Clear the Three Enemy Waves

Before you can fight the Hand Demon, your squad has to survive and clear three waves of enemies.

Each wave has its own kill counter.

The entire team contributes toward the required kills, so you don’t have to personally defeat every enemy yourself.

One useful strategy is to spread out around the arena instead of having all four players chase the exact same enemies.

This lets your team clear multiple groups at once and can make the waves go by faster.

The third wave requires the team to reach 120 kills before the boss section begins.

Keep Your Katana Equipped

Throughout the Final Selection run, make sure you keep your Katana ready in your hotbar.

You’ll need it for fighting the enemies during all three waves and for attacking the Hand Demon during the final battle.

Switching away from your weapon at the wrong time can leave you vulnerable, especially when enemies are surrounding you.

Once your team finishes the third wave, you’ll get a short intermission before the Hand Demon appears.

Use this time to reposition and prepare for the boss fight.

How to Defeat the Hand Demon

The Hand Demon has 25,000 HP, and its health bar appears at the top of the screen.

The fight switches between two important phases:

  • SURVIVE!
  • ATTACK!

Pay close attention to these prompts because they determine what you should be doing.

What to Do During the SURVIVE! Phase

When the screen says SURVIVE!, your main goal is to stay alive.

Don’t worry about dealing damage during this phase.

Keep moving, avoid the Hand Demon’s attacks, and focus entirely on dodging.

This is the most important phase if you’re trying to unlock The Hand Demon badge.

Remember, one death changes the reward for the surviving players. If a single member of your four-player squad gets eliminated, you can no longer get The Hand Demon badge during that run.

Instead, the surviving players will receive Water Siblings after the boss is defeated.

So, if your goal is the harder badge, treat the SURVIVE! prompt seriously.

Stop attacking, keep moving, and avoid taking unnecessary damage.

What to Do During the ATTACK! Phase

When the screen changes to ATTACK!, that’s when you should move in and start damaging the Hand Demon.

Use your Katana and work together with your squad to reduce the boss’s health.

You don’t need to play overly aggressively. The most important thing is keeping everyone alive while slowly bringing the Hand Demon’s 25,000 HP down to zero.

Then, when the fight switches back to SURVIVE!, immediately return to dodging.

The safest strategy is simple:

SURVIVE! = Dodge and stay alive.

ATTACK! = Move in and deal damage.

Following those prompts properly gives your squad the best chance of keeping all four players alive.

How to Get The Hand Demon Badge

To unlock The Hand Demon badge, all four players must survive until the Hand Demon is defeated.

The full process is:

  1. Get four players into the Final Selection queue.
  2. Clear all three enemy waves.
  3. Fight the Hand Demon.
  4. Survive every SURVIVE! phase without losing a teammate.
  5. Defeat the boss while all four players are still alive.

Once the Hand Demon’s health reaches zero, everyone in the surviving four-player squad should receive The Hand Demon badge.

This is the more difficult badge because it requires the entire team to stay alive.

How to Get the Water Siblings Badge

The Water Siblings badge comes from the exact same Final Selection run.

The difference is that fewer than four players must be alive when the Hand Demon is defeated.

For example, if one player dies during the boss fight and the remaining players defeat the Hand Demon, the survivors receive Water Siblings.

This means you can technically unlock Water Siblings during a run that doesn’t go perfectly.

Just remember that players who are eliminated won’t receive the survivor reward.

If you’re specifically trying to collect Water Siblings, you still need to complete the Final Selection run and defeat the Hand Demon.

How to Know if You Got the Badge

When the Hand Demon is defeated, Roblox should display a Badge Awarded notification.

The notification will show which badge you unlocked:

  • Water Siblings
  • The Hand Demon

Afterward, you’ll also see the victory sequence with Sakonji Urokodaki congratulating the surviving players.

You can also check your progress through the game’s Badges menu to see your unlocked badges and any associated rewards or characters.

Why You Might Not Get Either Badge

If you finish a run and don’t receive the badge you expected, there are a few things to check.

First, make sure the Final Selection match actually started with all four required players.

The mini-game won’t begin properly without a full four-player queue.

Second, remember that dying matters. If you’re eliminated during the Hand Demon fight, you won’t be one of the surviving players receiving the final reward.

Finally, your squad needs to successfully clear all three enemy waves and defeat the Hand Demon.

The badge is awarded at the end of the boss fight, not simply for entering Final Selection.

Getting both the Water Siblings and The Hand Demon badges is actually pretty straightforward once you understand how the reward system works.

You only need to learn one mini-game because both badges come from the same Final Selection boss fight.

Water Siblings is awarded when fewer than four players survive, while The Hand Demon requires the full four-player squad to still be standing when the boss goes down.

If you’re going for The Hand Demon badge, my biggest advice is to play carefully during the SURVIVE! phases. Don’t try to force extra damage when the game is telling you to stay alive. Keep moving, dodge the Hand Demon’s attacks, and save your aggression for the ATTACK! phases.

Once you understand that simple pattern, all that’s left is getting a reliable squad of four players and making it through the fight together.
