A brand-new Hollow Ressurección called Wrath was just added to Type Soul, and even though it’s listed as a common res, it actually looks pretty solid so far.
This showcase only covered a couple of the base abilities and not the full transformation yet, but from what was shown, the moves already look pretty clean visually and seem decent for close-range fighting.
Here’s everything shown in the showcase.
Type Soul NEW Wrath Ressurección Guide
The new Ressurección is called Wrath.
According to the showcase, it’s currently a common rarity Hollow res, meaning players probably won’t have a super difficult time rolling for it compared to rarer options.
Only two abilities were fully shown during the video:
- Rageful Flash
- Demon Kick
The creator also mentioned that a full transformation showcase would come later.
Rageful Flash
The first move shown was Rageful Flash.
From what the showcase displayed, the ability creates a burst-like attack around the user that hits enemies nearby.
When used against NPC hollows, the move seemed to damage multiple targets standing close together instead of only hitting one enemy.
So right now it looks like:
- an area-of-effect attack
- close-range centered ability
- multi-target capable
The visuals looked kind of like a rage aura exploding outward from the player.
The cooldown shown was around 15 seconds, so it doesn’t seem too spam-heavy.
Honestly, this move feels like it’ll probably be pretty useful during grinding because of the nearby enemy coverage.
Demon Kick
The second move shown was Demon Kick.
This one launches the user upward slightly before performing a heavy kick attack.
The move looks much more focused on direct combat and mobility compared to Rageful Flash.
From the animation shown:
- the player jumps upward
- performs a powerful downward or forward kick
- hits the target directly
The animation itself actually looked pretty smooth.
It also appeared to have a fairly short cooldown, which could make it useful for combos or pressure in PvP.
Early Thoughts on Wrath
Even though this wasn’t the full showcase, Wrath already looks like a pretty aggressive close-range res.
So far it seems focused around:
- pressure
- melee combat
- nearby enemy damage
- mobility-based attacks
The abilities shown weren’t insanely flashy compared to some of the more overpowered res options in the game, but they still looked clean and practical.
Since this is only the early showcase and not the full transformed mode yet, there’s probably still a lot more to see from the res later.
For a common Ressurección, Wrath honestly looks pretty decent already.
Rageful Flash seems useful for dealing with groups, while Demon Kick looks like the kind of move that could become annoying in PvP once players start comboing with it properly.
The full res showcase will probably reveal the stronger abilities later, but for now the new Wrath res definitely looks like a solid addition to the update.
