A lot of Type Soul players logged in after the recent update wondering where their compensation rewards actually went. Since the game did not explain the location very clearly, many players were confused about how to access the compensation shop and spend their points.

Thankfully, the process is actually very simple once you know where to look.

This guide explains exactly where to find the compensation shop, how to access it quickly, and what kinds of rewards you can buy with your compensation points.

Where to Find the Compensation Shop

As soon as you spawn into the game, you do not need to travel very far.

The easiest method is to press the button beside the M key on your keyboard. This opens the in-game location highlight system that marks important NPCs and areas around the map.

Once the markers appear, look for the location labeled:

  • Trader

That is where the compensation shop NPC is located.

Simply head toward the Trader marker and interact with the NPC to open the compensation shop menu.

What You Can Buy in the Compensation Shop

The shop contains several different rewards players can purchase using compensation points.

Some of the available items mentioned include:

  • U Box items
  • Blood-related items
  • Elemental Walls
  • Cosmetic-style rewards
  • Special equipment

The exact selection may vary depending on updates, but there are already multiple useful and collectible items available.

Regalia Item Explained

One of the showcased purchases was an item called Regalia.

The item costs around 80 compensation points and appears to be more of a cosmetic or lore-themed reward rather than a powerful stat item.

According to the showcase:

  • It gives no visible stats
  • It seems inspired by an Ichigo Hell reference
  • It is mainly for appearance and collection purposes

Even though it may not improve combat strength, some players still like it because of the design and Bleach-inspired style.

Compensation Shop May Be Temporary

One important thing players should know is that the compensation shop may not stay forever.

The showcase specifically warned that the shop might be limited-time only, meaning players should spend their compensation points while the shop is still available.

If you wait too long, the NPC or rewards could potentially disappear during future updates.

Why Players Received Compensation

The compensation was mainly tied to major game changes and controversial adjustments, including the removal of certain content like True Bankai.

Many players spent huge amounts of time grinding difficult content only for some mechanics or progress to later change.

Because of that, the developers added compensation rewards to help make up for the lost time and effort.

Some players are still frustrated, especially those who spent many hours unlocking rare forms before the changes happened.

Current Bugs in Type Soul

The showcase also mentioned that the game currently has several bugs after the update.

Some players have reported:

  • Missing stats on items
  • UI problems
  • Weird progression bugs
  • Combat inconsistencies

So if something in the compensation shop does not seem to work properly, there is a good chance it may simply be bugged temporarily.

The compensation shop in Type Soul is pretty easy to find once you know where to look. Just use the map highlight button beside the M key, find the Trader NPC, and you will be able to spend your compensation points there.

Even though some rewards are more cosmetic than useful, it is still worth checking the shop before it potentially disappears in a future update. Players who lost progress or rare content from earlier changes may at least find something interesting to grab while the compensation system is still active.
