This update adds the Impostor glove, a brand-new Roguelike mastery, a new code, plus a whole bunch of balance changes and smaller fixes that can easily get lost in the patch notes.
The Impostor glove is probably the biggest attraction here, so let’s start with that and then get into the new Roguelike mastery and everything else you need to know.
How to Get the Impostor Glove in Slap Battles
The new Impostor glove is a slap-requirement glove, so unfortunately, you can’t simply walk up and grab it when you start playing.
You’ll need a whopping 17,200 Slaps to unlock it.
Once you’ve got enough Slaps, you can head over to the glove area and find Impostor.
The glove has:
- Power: 56
- Speed: 15
- Ability: Le Suitcase
So, if you’re already sitting around the 17,200-Slap mark, this is definitely one of the new gloves worth checking out.
What Does the Impostor Glove Do?
The Impostor glove is actually pretty interesting because it doesn’t just give you one straightforward ability.
Its main ability is called Le Suitcase, and you activate it by pressing E.
When you use the suitcase, it gives you a random glove.
Your character then temporarily transforms into that glove, allowing you to use its abilities.
So essentially, you’re carrying around a surprise glove inside your suitcase.
You don’t know exactly what you’re going to get when you activate it, which makes the Impostor glove a lot more unpredictable than a standard glove.
Impostor’s Fake Ability
The Impostor glove also has another ability called Fake, which is activated with R.
The idea fits the whole Impostor theme, although the main attraction is definitely the suitcase mechanic.
The ability can give you a different glove to work with, meaning you can potentially adapt to what’s happening in the current match.
That randomness is what makes this glove so interesting.
You’re not necessarily going into every fight with the exact same game plan.
How the Suitcase Works
Once you have Impostor equipped, press E to activate the suitcase.
A random glove will be selected, and your current glove will change into that glove.
You’ll then have access to the selected glove’s gameplay for a short period.
It can feel a little weird the first time you use it because you’re suddenly playing with a completely different ability set.
But once you get used to it, that’s where the fun begins.
The whole point is basically to make the most of whatever glove you happen to receive.
New Roguelike Mastery
The other major addition in this update is the new Roguelike mastery.
If you’ve been playing with the Roguelike glove, you’ll definitely want to take a look at this.
The mastery comes with several challenges that you’ll need to complete.
The requirements include:
- Reach Level 15
- Acquire 15 Night Speed
- Eliminate 300 players
So this isn’t something you’re going to unlock instantly.
You’ll need to spend some time actually playing the Roguelike glove and working through its progression.
What You Get From Roguelike Mastery
Once you’re progressing through the mastery, you’ll get some pretty useful changes to how your cards work.
The update allows you to choose up to four new cards and gives you more options each time you level up.
That’s a pretty significant improvement if you’re someone who likes experimenting with different card combinations.
Instead of simply accepting whatever options the game throws at you, you get more control over your choices.
Six-Card Maximum
There’s also now a maximum of six cards.
This is something to keep in mind while you’re building your Roguelike setup.
You don’t want to assume that you can keep stacking cards forever.
The six-card limit means you’ll eventually have to think about which effects are actually worth keeping.
So rather than grabbing everything that looks interesting, start thinking about how your cards work together.
Pot of Green Removed
Another change to the Roguelike system is that Pot of Green has been removed.
If you were previously relying on it as part of your setup, you’ll need to adjust your strategy following the update.
This is one of those smaller changes that may not sound huge in the patch notes, but it can matter quite a bit if you’re already familiar with the previous Roguelike system.
Balance Changes and Fixes
The update also comes with a pretty large list of balance changes and bug fixes.
There are changes affecting various gloves, along with smaller gameplay adjustments and fixes.
There are enough changes here that reading every single one individually would turn this guide into a giant patch-note list, so I wouldn’t worry about memorizing everything.
Instead, if there’s a specific glove you regularly use, it’s worth checking whether it was changed in this update.
A glove that you’ve been using for a while might behave slightly differently now because of one of these balance adjustments.

Enter the code in the game’s code redemption area and claim the available rewards.

What Should You Do First After the Update?
If you’re jumping into the game specifically because of this update, I’d approach it in this order.
First, check whether you have enough Slaps for the Impostor glove.
If you have 17,200 Slaps, go ahead and unlock it and give the suitcase mechanic a try.
If you don’t have enough yet, keep working toward the requirement while using the new code.
Then, if you’re a Roguelike player, start working on the new mastery challenges.
The 300-player elimination requirement is obviously going to take some time, so there’s no reason to wait around before starting.
And finally, check the balance changes for the gloves you normally use.
You don’t need to read every single patch note, but knowing whether your favorite glove was buffed, nerfed, or adjusted can save you from wondering why something suddenly feels different.
The new Slap Battles update is pretty interesting because it adds more than just another glove.
The Impostor glove is easily the most fun addition to experiment with, especially if you like unpredictable gameplay. With 17,200 Slaps required, it isn’t exactly an early-game unlock, but the Le Suitcase ability gives you something genuinely different to play around with.
