Baam (Viole Grace) is easily one of the most exciting Mythic units in Manhwa Legends, and if you’re lucky enough to pull the 0.1% Legend Trait, you’ve basically won the lottery. Even without that incredibly rare trait, Baam is already one of the strongest early-to-mid game DPS units thanks to his excellent damage scaling, crowd control, and massive range after unlocking his full potential.
The best part? He’s a banner Mythic, so unlike some limited or raid-exclusive units, every player has a chance to obtain him through summons.
If you’re wondering whether Baam deserves a spot on your team, here’s everything you need to know.
Manhwa Legends Baam (Viole Grace) Guide – How to Get
Baam is available through the Banner Summon.
Like every Mythic unit, obtaining him comes down to luck, although the pity system helps reduce the grind if you don’t pull him early.
Since he’s part of the regular banner rotation, you won’t need to complete difficult raids or long questlines just to unlock him.
How Rare Is the 0.1% Legend Trait?
The Legend Trait has an incredibly low appearance rate of just 0.1%.
Getting both:
- Baam
- The Legend Trait
at the same time is extremely rare.
Most players will likely reroll traits after pulling Baam instead of naturally obtaining both together.
Thankfully, Baam performs exceptionally well even without the Legend Trait.
Best Trait for Baam
While many players chase the 0.1% Legend Trait because of its rarity, it’s not necessarily his strongest option.
From testing and community discussions, the Critical Trait is often considered Baam’s best overall trait because it complements his naturally high damage and synergizes perfectly with his later passive upgrades.
The Legend Trait is still fantastic, but don’t feel disappointed if you end up with Critical instead.
Baam’s Passive Skills Explained
Baam’s strength comes from gradually unlocking stronger forms as he’s upgraded.
Each new attack unlocks another level of his Revolution mechanic.
Revolution I
Immediately after placement and the first upgrade, Baam gains:
- Stuns enemies for 2 seconds every attack.
This makes him useful even during the early waves because crowd control helps slow enemy pushes while still dealing respectable damage.
Revolution II
After unlocking the second Revolution:
Enemies affected by Baam’s stun are immediately hit with Shock after the stun expires.
Shock prevents enemies from:
- Moving
- Using abilities
This creates nearly continuous crowd control on groups of enemies.
Revolution III
The third Revolution grants:
- 15% lower SPA (Attack Cooldown)
This significantly increases Baam’s DPS by allowing him to attack more frequently.
Revolution IV
The final Revolution unlocks Baam’s signature ability:
Full Ignition
This completely transforms the unit.
Full Ignition Explained
Once activated, Full Ignition permanently grants:
- 50% more damage
- 20% additional range
- 100% Critical Chance
These buffs last for the remainder of the match.
Instead of being a temporary skill, Full Ignition permanently upgrades Baam into one of the strongest DPS units currently available.
Irregular Passive
Baam also possesses the Irregular passive.
This prevents his stats from being reduced by enemy debuffs or stage modifiers.
If a stage normally lowers attack or other stats, Baam ignores those penalties entirely.
That makes him much more consistent than many other DPS units.
Wave Controller Passive
At Level 100, Baam unlocks another passive called Wave Controller.
For every unique buff applied to him, he gains:
10% additional damage.
Since Full Ignition already grants several buffs, this passive pushes his damage even higher during long matches.
Upgrade Progression
Baam scales steadily throughout the match.
Placement
- Around 2,000 damage
- 5 SPA
- Good starting range
- Line AoE attack
Already solid for early waves.
Early Upgrades
Damage quickly climbs above:
- 3,800
- 5,000
- 6,000+
His crowd-control abilities also become much stronger.
Mid Upgrades
After unlocking Revolution III:
- Damage exceeds 10,000
- Faster attack speed
- Circle AoE attacks
- Better overall DPS
This is where Baam starts feeling noticeably stronger than most banner Mythics.
Maximum Upgrade
Before activating Full Ignition:
- Around 17,400 damage
- Roughly 3.9 SPA
Already an excellent damage dealer.
After Full Ignition
Everything changes.
Maximum stats become approximately:
- 26,000 Damage
- 94 Range
- 3.9 SPA
- 100% Critical Chance
- Permanent 50% Damage Buff
- Permanent 20% Range Buff
Considering these numbers come before additional support buffs, Baam becomes an incredible carry for most game modes.
Attack Effects
Baam’s attacks also become increasingly impressive visually.
His move progression includes:
First Attack
A simple Line AoE beam attack.
Second Attack
A ranged bow and arrow style attack.
Third Attack
Baam leaps into the air before slamming a massive Shinsu sphere into enemies.
Final Attack
His strongest animation launches an enormous exploding Shinsu orb capable of hitting huge groups of enemies.
Besides looking fantastic, these attacks also represent each major power spike during his upgrade path.
Best Game Modes
Baam performs exceptionally well in:
- Story Mode
- Infinite Mode
- Raids
- Progression Stages
- Boss Battles
His combination of crowd control, permanent buffs, and huge range allows him to remain effective almost everywhere.
