Temple Raid Act 3 is one of the most rewarding activities in Manhwa Legends, but it’s also one of the tougher challenges if you’re trying to farm it consistently. The good news is that you don’t need a full team of premium damage dealers to clear it.
With the right setup, smart positioning, and a little bit of unit management, you can comfortably solo the raid using just two DPS units. The strategy mainly revolves around maximizing your economy early, letting one unit handle bosses while the other cleans up leaks, and knowing exactly when to reposition your units.

Why Kim and Violi?
These two units complement each other perfectly.
Violi
Violi acts as your primary boss killer.
His high damage output makes him responsible for burning down bosses throughout the raid.
While the showcased build used the 0.1% Legend Trait, it’s not required.
Many experienced players actually consider the Critical Trait to be even stronger for Violi, making this strategy accessible to more players.
Kim
Kim’s role is completely different.
Instead of focusing on bosses, he’s responsible for:
- Clearing leaked enemies
- Applying Full AoE damage
- Stunning enemies
- Supporting Violi through his passive
Together they cover nearly every situation the raid throws at you.
Early Game Setup
At the start of the raid, don’t rush into placing every combat unit.
Instead, build your economy first.
Step 1
Place Lloyd immediately.
His economy helps fund the expensive upgrades you’ll need later.

Deploy both Farm units.
Your goal is to maximize income as early as possible.
Step 3
Place Violi near the first major curve in the path.
Position him so his attack range covers enemies entering the longest section of the map.
Step 4
Place Kim nearby.
His attack radius should also cover that same area.
You’ll eventually reposition him later, so don’t worry about making his first placement perfect.
Copy Beerus’ Passive Early
One important part of this strategy is copying Beerus’ Revolutionary I passive onto Kim.

- Consistent stun
- Better crowd control
- More breathing room during the early waves
Even a short stun dramatically improves survival against large enemy groups.
Farm Before Upgrading Damage
Once your first DPS upgrade is complete, focus almost entirely on economy.
Upgrade order should be:
- Min
- Second Farm
- Lloyd
Lloyd costs more than the others, so leaving him until last gives smoother early-game progression.
By the time every economy unit is maxed, you’ll have more than enough income for the rest of the raid.
Reposition Violi
Once your economy is established, it’s time to move your main damage dealer.
Sell Violi and place him closer to the center of the map.
Initially his range looks small, but after activating his ability his attack radius expands dramatically.
Proper placement allows him to cover nearly the entire map.
This reposition is one of the biggest reasons the strategy works so consistently.
Reposition Kim
Kim should also be sold and replaced.
Place him so his attack radius reaches the large corner section of the map where enemies naturally gather.
Later, once fully upgraded, Kim gains Full AoE, allowing him to clear nearly every leaked enemy entering that section.
Don’t Upgrade Kim Too Far
This is one of the easiest mistakes to make.
After reaching Revolutionary I, stop upgrading his copied passive.
Keeping Revolutionary I allows Kim to maintain:
- Full AoE
- Stun
- Better utility
Going further actually reduces the effectiveness of this specific strategy.
Keep Kim Inside Violi’s Range
Kim’s passive is one of the strongest parts of this setup.
Every so often, he copies the damage of the strongest friendly DPS unit inside his range.
That means:
The stronger Violi becomes…
…the stronger Kim’s Full AoE attacks become as well.
Whenever you reposition either unit, always double-check that Kim is still inside Violi’s attack radius.
Missing this small detail can noticeably reduce your overall damage.
Boss Phase Strategy
Once the Temple boss appears, change Violi’s targeting.
Set him to:
Strongest
This ensures all of his damage is directed toward the boss instead of regular enemies.
Kim will continue cleaning up everything else.
Temple Statue Mechanic
The Temple Raid includes a unique mechanic that prevents simple AFK farming.
Whenever the boss activates the mechanic:
A colored symbol appears.
Immediately run to the statue with the matching color and interact with it.
Possible colors include:
- Blue
- Green
- Red
Choosing the wrong statue has serious consequences.
The boss immediately regenerates a large portion of its HP, making the fight much longer.
Because these colors appear randomly, the raid cannot be reliably macroed.
Sell and Replace During Boss Fights
As the boss progresses around the map, your damage coverage changes.
Whenever necessary:
- Sell Violi.
- Reposition him closer to the boss.
- Activate his range ability again.
Do the same for Kim if leaked enemies begin slipping through.
This constant repositioning keeps both units attacking for the maximum possible amount of time.
Should You Bring a Damage Buffer?
A dedicated damage buffer isn’t required.
The showcased run was completed without relying on one.
However, if you own a support unit that increases team damage, bringing it will make the raid noticeably easier and shorten boss fights.
Common Mistakes
Ignoring the statue mechanic
This is the fastest way to lose time.
Always interact with the correct colored statue immediately.
Forgetting to retarget Violi
Leaving him on First instead of Strongest causes him to waste damage on regular enemies.
Placing Kim outside Violi’s range
Kim’s passive depends on copying your strongest DPS.
Without Violi nearby, his damage drops significantly.
Forgetting to copy Revolutionary I
The stun from Revolutionary I makes surviving the later waves much easier.
Always remember to copy it after replacing Kim.
Poor repositioning
Temple Raid rewards players who actively move their units throughout the fight.
