The Magnet Event has arrived in Blox Fruits, bringing a new way to earn Magnet Tokens by hunting down special magnetized NPCs. If you’re wondering how to get these tokens and where you can spend them, I’ve tested the event to figure out the best method.

The event doesn’t run all the time, so you’ll want to be ready when it starts. During the event, certain NPCs become magnetized and can be defeated for Magnet Tokens. I also tested several islands to see where the special NPCs appear most often.

In this guide, I’ll show you when the Magnet Event starts, how to recognize the magnetized NPCs, the fastest way I found to farm them, and how to use your tokens in the Magnet Gacha.

How To Magnet Tokens Get in Blox Fruits – Update 30

The Magnet Event starts every hour at :00.

For example, you can expect it to start at:

  • 10:00 AM
  • 11:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM

And so on.

You’ll know the event has started when the sky changes and takes on the galaxy-like appearance. That’s your signal to start hunting for magnetized NPCs.

The event also has a limited duration, so don’t wait around once you see the change.

How To Get Magnet Tokens

During the Magnet Event, certain NPCs around the islands become magnetized.

You can recognize them by their blue glow. Find these NPCs and defeat them to receive Magnet Tokens.

From my testing, each magnetized NPC gave me around 20–25 Magnet Tokens. I received examples of both 23 and 24 tokens, so the exact amount can vary.

The enemies can also be surprisingly tanky, but their strength appears to scale with your level. This means you don’t necessarily need to be in a particular Sea to participate.

Fastest Way To Farm Magnet Tokens

After testing different locations, I found that the best strategy is to move between islands instead of staying in one place.

At first, I tried killing the NPCs in one area and waiting for more magnetized NPCs to appear. That seemed to work for a short time, but the spawns started slowing down.

When I teleported to another island, I immediately found multiple magnetized NPCs waiting there.

So, the basic strategy is:

  1. Wait for the Magnet Event to begin.
  2. Find the magnetized NPCs on your current island.
  3. Defeat them as quickly as possible.
  4. Teleport to another island.
  5. Search for more magnetized NPCs.
  6. Repeat until the event ends.

Don’t just stay in one location hoping the same NPCs will become magnetized again. Moving around gives you a better chance of finding more event NPCs.

Use Portal To Travel Faster

If you have the Portal Fruit, this event is a great time to use it.

You can quickly teleport between islands instead of spending most of the 10-minute event traveling by boat. Since every second matters during the event, faster travel means more time to hunt magnetized NPCs.

If you don’t have Portal, you’ll need to use your normal travel options, such as a boat.

I’d recommend having your travel method ready before the event starts so you don’t waste the first few minutes getting prepared.

Is Pirate Village Good for Magnet Tokens?

Yes, Pirate Village was one of the better locations I found during my testing.

There are a lot of NPCs in the area, which makes it easier to find magnetized enemies. At one point, I found multiple magnetized pirates in the same area.

Because there are so many NPCs packed together, Pirate Village is worth checking when the event begins.

However, don’t stay there forever. If the magnetized NPCs stop appearing, move to another island and continue searching.

Should You Stay on One Island?

I wouldn’t recommend it.

During my testing, I noticed that killing the magnetized NPCs and waiting for replacements wasn’t as effective as simply moving to a new island.

For example, after clearing an area, I eventually stopped seeing magnetized NPCs. I then teleported to another island and found several new ones almost immediately.

So, island hopping is the main farming method I recommend.

How Long Does the Magnet Event Last?

The Magnet Event lasts for approximately 10 minutes.

Once those 10 minutes are over, the special magnetized NPCs stop appearing and the event ends.

Because the event is so short, you don’t want to waste time visiting the Gacha or standing around waiting for spawns.

Use the entire event to hunt NPCs and collect as many Magnet Tokens as possible.

How To Use Magnet Tokens

Once you’ve collected your Magnet Tokens, you can spend them at the Magnet Gacha in Middletown.

Head to the area where the Fruit Gacha is located. The Gacha NPC can be found behind the large building in Middletown.

From there, interact with the Gacha and select the Magnet Event option.

Each spin costs 500 Magnet Tokens.

What Can You Get From the Magnet Gacha?

The Magnet Gacha contains several different rewards, including various fruit skins and other cosmetics.

During my testing, I could see several interesting skins in the rewards, including an Iron Man-style suit.

You can spend 500 Magnet Tokens to get one spin and see which reward you receive.

The rewards are random, so you may need several spins before getting the item you actually want.

Magnet Tokens and the Fruit Gacha

There is also another part of the event involving the Fruit Gacha.

You can use the Fruit Gacha to roll for a random fruit, and the event can give you opportunities to obtain valuable fruits through these rolls.

During my testing, I even saw fruits such as Dragon and Mammoth in the available rewards.

However, the cost of getting enough Magnet Tokens can make these rolls fairly time-consuming, especially if you’re only earning around 20–25 tokens per magnetized NPC.

How Many Magnet Tokens Can You Get?

The amount you earn depends heavily on how many magnetized NPCs you can find before the event ends.

During my run, I had around 763 Magnet Tokens, although that included the 500 free tokens given during the event.

In another run, I only managed to earn around 263 tokens from the actual event because the magnetized NPCs weren’t spawning consistently.

This is why moving between islands is so important. If you find that one island has stopped producing magnetized NPCs, don’t waste the remaining event time waiting there.

Can You Server Hop for Magnet NPCs?

Server hopping can also be useful if you’re having trouble finding magnetized NPCs.

However, public servers have one major downside: other players can kill the magnetized NPCs before you get to them.

If you’re playing in a public server and can’t find any event NPCs, try checking another island or switching servers.

The main idea is still the same: keep moving until you find active magnetized NPCs.

Final Thoughts

The fastest way I’ve found to farm Magnet Tokens in Blox Fruits is to take advantage of the 10-minute event and keep moving between islands.

Start at the beginning of the hour, look for the blue-glowing magnetized NPCs, defeat them quickly, and then use Portal or another fast travel method to move to a different island. Pirate Village is also worth checking because of its large number of NPCs.

Each magnetized NPC gives around 20–25 Magnet Tokens, while the Magnet Gacha costs 500 tokens per spin. Since the event is limited, focus on farming during those 10 minutes and save your tokens for when you have enough to roll.

The spawn rates may also change in future updates, so if the developers increase the number of magnetized NPCs, farming these tokens should become much easier.
