If you’re trying to get Stark in Anime Origins, you might have already noticed something pretty annoying: you can’t just walk over to the banner and pull him.

He’s not sitting in the normal summon pool, and you won’t get him by simply grinding Story or Raids either.

So if you’ve been looking everywhere wondering, “Okay, where am I actually supposed to get Stark?” — the answer is Crafting.

The good news is that getting him isn’t terribly complicated once you understand where his materials come from. The main grind is getting the required KGR artifacts, and then you have one additional material to farm if you want to evolve Stark.

Here’s the quickest way to go about it.

How to Get Stark Fast in Anime Origins

Stark is not obtained through the regular banner, and you can’t simply farm him directly from Story Mode or Raids.

Instead, you need to craft him through the Crafting NPC.

When you open the crafting menu, you’ll find Stark among the units you can create.

The catch is that you need several specific materials first.

Those materials come from the KGR artifacts found in the Legend stages.

How to Get the Materials for Stark

Your first major objective is to head into Story Mode and unlock the Legend stages.

You’ll then need to farm the KGR stages to obtain the required artifacts.

The materials are spread across the three KGR stages, so you’re not going to get everything from repeatedly farming just one stage.

The basic setup is:

  • KGR 1 → Blade
  • KGR 2 → Eye Patch
  • KGR 3 → Pistols

These stages are part of the Karakura Town Legend progression.

So if you haven’t unlocked the relevant Legend content yet, that’s the first thing you need to work toward.

KGR Artifact Drops Explained

The KGR artifacts are the key to the entire Stark crafting process.

You’ll be farming the different KGR Legend stages for their respective drops.

KGR 1 – Blade

The first KGR stage gives you the Blade material.

You’ll need to keep farming this stage until you get the required drop.

KGR 2 – Eye Patch

The second KGR stage is where you’ll be looking for the Eye Patch.

Again, the item comes from the artifact system, so don’t expect to receive it every single run.

KGR 3 – Pistols

Finally, KGR 3 gives you the Pistols required for the Stark crafting recipe.

Once you’ve collected all three required materials, you’re ready to move on to the crafting step.

Refine Your Artifacts Before Farming

There’s one thing I’d strongly recommend doing before you start spending a huge amount of time grinding these artifacts.

Refine them.

The reason is simple: refining the artifacts can improve your drop rate.

If you’re already going to spend time farming KGR stages, you may as well increase your chances of getting the materials you’re actually after.

So before going all-in on the grind:

Refine your artifacts as much as you reasonably can → then start farming the KGR stages.

It won’t magically guarantee the drop, but improving your odds can make the grind much less painful.

Farm All Three KGR Stages

Once you’re ready, you’ll need to work through all three stages.

Don’t get frustrated if you don’t get the item you need immediately.

The drops are chance-based, so you may need several runs.

Your goal is simply to collect:

Blade + Eye Patch + Pistols

Once all three are in your inventory, you’ve completed the hardest part of getting Stark.

And if the KGR content is giving you trouble, don’t be afraid to run it with other players.

Doing these stages with a group can make the grind considerably easier, especially if your account isn’t fully developed yet.

Craft Stark

Once you’ve collected all three required materials, head back to the Crafting NPC.

Find Stark in the crafting menu and check that you have all of the required materials.

If everything is there, craft him.

And that’s it.

You now have Stark.

But there’s one more step if you want to get the most out of him.

How to Evolve Stark

Getting Stark is only the beginning.

To evolve him, you need a special material called the Wolf Spirit Pistols.

This is another item you’ll have to farm rather than simply purchasing it.

The Wolf Spirit Pistols come from the Legend Stage – Act 2.

So once you’ve crafted Stark, head back into the appropriate Legend content and start farming Act 2.

Wolf Spirit Pistols Drop Rate

The Wolf Spirit Pistols have a 5% drop chance according to the guide.

That means you shouldn’t expect to get them immediately.

You could get lucky and see them quickly, but you should also be prepared for several runs.

If you don’t get the item after a few attempts, don’t assume you’re farming the wrong stage. It’s simply a low-probability drop.

Keep running Act 2 Legend until the Wolf Spirit Pistols drop.

Evolve Stark

Once you’ve obtained the Wolf Spirit Pistols, return to your unit menu and select Stark.

You’ll now have the required material to perform his evolution.

Complete the evolution and Stark will be upgraded.

So the entire process is basically:

KGR Legend stages → collect Blade, Eye Patch and Pistols → Craft Stark → Farm Act 2 Legend → get Wolf Spirit Pistols → Evolve Stark

That’s the whole route.

Fastest Stark Farming Route

If you’re starting from scratch, I would approach it in this order:

1. Unlock Legend Stages

Progress through Story Mode until you have access to the required Legend content.

2. Prepare Your Artifacts

Before farming, refine your artifacts to improve your chances of obtaining the required materials.

3. Farm KGR 1

Keep running KGR 1 until you obtain the required Blade.

4. Farm KGR 2

Move on to KGR 2 and work toward the Eye Patch.

5. Farm KGR 3

Finish the material collection by farming KGR 3 for the Pistols.

6. Craft Stark

Once you have all three materials, visit the Crafting NPC and create Stark.

7. Farm Act 2 Legend

Now switch your focus to the Act 2 Legend stage.

You’re looking for the Wolf Spirit Pistols.

8. Get the 5% Drop

Keep farming until the Wolf Spirit Pistols drop.

9. Evolve Stark

Use the Wolf Spirit Pistols to evolve your Stark.

Stark Materials at a Glance

For a quick reference, here’s the important part of the grind:

To craft Stark:

  • KGR 1 → Blade
  • KGR 2 → Eye Patch
  • KGR 3 → Pistols

To evolve Stark:

  • Act 2 Legend → Wolf Spirit Pistols
  • Drop chance → 5%

A Few Tips to Make the Grind Easier

The main thing I’d tell you is not to waste your time trying to find Stark in places where he simply doesn’t drop.

He’s a crafted unit, so your progression should be focused on his crafting materials from the beginning.

Also, refine your artifacts before doing a serious farming session. There’s no reason to make an already RNG-heavy grind harder than it needs to be.

And if KGR is difficult for your current team, run it with other players. Getting help through the stages is much better than repeatedly failing or taking forever to clear each run.

Finally, once you craft Stark, don’t stop there if your goal is the evolved version. Remember that you’ll still need the Wolf Spirit Pistols, and with only a 5% drop chance, that final farming step can take some patience.
