If you’ve been trying to clear Entertainment District Raid Act 3 in Anime Origins but don’t have an Immortal trait on your units, don’t worry—you can still beat it.

That’s actually the whole point of this setup.

You don’t need some ridiculous whale team or a lobby full of perfectly traited units. The strategy here uses a fairly obtainable team, and none of the units in the showcased setup have the Immortal trait.

The bigger thing to understand is that Act 3 has an awkward map layout, so simply throwing your units wherever you normally place them can result in leaks. Once you get the positioning right, though, the run becomes much more consistent and can be turned into a macro.

Here’s the complete setup, including the units to use, where to position them, and the important Goku trick that makes the final part safer.

How to Beat Entertainment District Raid Act 3 in Anime Origins

Before getting into the actual strategy, it’s worth knowing why you should bother farming this raid in the first place.

Entertainment District is the second raid discussed in the setup, and clearing its acts gives you access to several useful rewards.

One of the biggest reasons to run it is Tengen, also referred to as Tango/Tenin in the video.

You can also earn Lanterns through the raid, while the Raid Shop gives you access to things such as:

  • Tengen’s E1
  • Rerolls
  • Fusion Chips
  • Other raid resources

The raids can also be a surprisingly good source of rerolls over time. With the two available raids, the guide estimates that you can get roughly 100 rerolls per week from raids alone.

That’s a pretty nice bonus for something you’re already farming for raid rewards.

The Team You Need

The showcased team for the Entertainment District Act 3 macro is:

  • Meliodas
  • Goku Super Saiyan 3
  • Vegeta Super Saiyan
  • Roxy Mage
  • Bulma Data Analyst
  • Leo

The important part here is that none of these units need the Immortal trait for the strategy.

Obviously, having Immortal on one or more units can make the run considerably easier, but the whole purpose of this setup is proving that you don’t need it.

If you already have Immortal units, consider yourself in easy mode.

For everyone else, this setup gives you a realistic way to approach the raid without relying on perfect traits across your entire team.

Why Goku Super Saiyan 3 Is Important

Goku isn’t just there for damage.

The strategy takes advantage of Goku’s Instant Transmission as a safety net.

Most of the time, the run should be able to handle the enemies normally. However, the creator still uses Instant Transmission because leaks can happen.

That’s especially important in a macro.

When you’re manually playing, you can react to something going wrong. When you’re running a macro, you don’t want one unexpected leak to ruin the entire run.

Goku gives you that extra layer of protection.

The Biggest Problem With Act 3: Positioning

The Entertainment District Act 3 map is awkward.

There aren’t many obvious places to position your air units, and some of the placements that look good at first can actually allow enemies to leak.

This is why you shouldn’t simply copy your normal raid positioning.

The safest approach is to place your units slightly farther back.

The creator specifically mentions testing the map multiple times and noticing that leaks can happen when units are positioned too aggressively.

So if you’re struggling with consistency, don’t immediately assume your units are too weak.

Your positioning may be the actual problem.

Best Air Unit Position

The air-unit placement is one of the more important parts of this strategy.

There is a central area that initially looks like an obvious place to put your air units.

However, the safer placement is slightly farther back.

You can use the safer position if you want maximum consistency, especially if your team isn’t quite as strong as the showcased setup.

If your units are strong enough, you can use the more aggressive position as well.

The general rule is:

If you’re getting leaks, move your setup farther back rather than immediately changing your team.

Start by Setting Up Your Farms

Once the map loads, zoom out so you can clearly see the entire area.

Start by placing your farms.

Don’t rush into dropping every combat unit immediately.

The purpose of the opening setup is to get your economy running so that you have enough money to build and upgrade the important units later.

Once your farms are in position, you can start putting down the rest of your team.

This is especially important for a macro because you want the opening sequence to be repeatable.

If your first few placements are inconsistent, the macro itself is going to be inconsistent.

Build the Main Damage Setup

After your farms are established, begin placing your main damage dealers.

Use the recommended positioning from the setup rather than placing units as close to the path as possible.

Again, the map is awkward, and the goal isn’t necessarily to maximize range on every unit.

The goal is to create a setup that survives the entire act consistently.

That’s a much more important distinction when you’re trying to macro the raid.

A slightly less aggressive position that clears every time is far better than a perfect-looking position that randomly leaks one out of ten runs.

Let the Run Play Out

Once your units and farms are established, you don’t need to constantly interfere with the run.

The showcased setup is designed to let the units handle the waves themselves.

This is where the macro becomes useful.

Instead of manually playing through Act 3 every time you want the rewards, you can record the sequence and allow the game to repeat it.

But don’t rush to save the macro immediately.

You want to make sure the run actually finishes successfully first.

The Goku Instant Transmission Safety Technique

This is probably the most useful trick in the entire strategy.

During the run, Goku can be used as a backup if something looks like it’s about to leak.

In the showcased run, the creator mentions that the enemy could normally be killed without using Instant Transmission.

However, he still uses it because you never know when a leak might happen.

That’s exactly the mentality you want when making a macro.

You’re not trying to create the fastest possible clear.

You’re trying to create a repeatable clear.

If Goku can prevent a random leak from destroying the run, using the ability as a safety measure makes sense.

Don’t Activate Everything Too Early

One mistake I’d avoid is immediately using Goku’s safety ability just because it’s available.

Watch the situation first.

If the enemies are comfortably under control, let your normal damage units handle them.

Use the Instant Transmission technique when you actually need the extra safety.

This helps preserve the ability for the part of the run where a leak is most likely to matter.

The creator’s run demonstrates that the normal team is already capable of handling the enemies. Goku’s ability is essentially the insurance policy.

How to Record the Macro

Once you’ve successfully completed the raid, you can prepare the run for repeating.

The basic process is:

  1. Let the successful run finish.
  2. Wait a little after the clear.
  3. Hit Replay.
  4. Stop the replay when appropriate.
  5. Save the sequence.
  6. Use the saved sequence for future runs.

The waiting part is worth mentioning.

Don’t immediately start clicking around the moment you technically finish the act.

Give the game a moment to register everything properly before setting up the replay.

This makes the process cleaner and helps avoid accidentally saving the wrong sequence.

Why This Setup Works Without Immortal

The biggest strength of this strategy is that it doesn’t depend on an Immortal trait.

Immortal can obviously make your units stronger and make difficult content easier, but you shouldn’t assume that every successful raid macro requires it.

The setup instead relies on:

  • A strong but attainable team
  • Correct positioning
  • Proper farm placement
  • Enough upgrades
  • Goku’s emergency utility
  • A consistent sequence that can be repeated

That’s what makes it useful for normal players.

If your units are significantly weaker than the showcased versions, you may need additional upgrades or adjustments. But the strategy itself gives you a solid baseline.

What If You’re Getting Leaks?

If you’re following the guide and still losing, don’t immediately rebuild your entire team.

Check these things first.

Move your units back.
The map’s awkward layout makes positioning especially important. A small placement difference can affect whether enemies get through.

Check your farms.
If your economy is behind, your damage units may not get the upgrades they need quickly enough.

Make sure Goku is being used correctly.
If you’re relying on Instant Transmission as your safety net, make sure the macro actually captures the activation at the correct moment.

Don’t make the macro too aggressive.
A macro that clears in the shortest possible time isn’t useful if it randomly fails.

Test the run multiple times.
One successful run doesn’t necessarily mean the macro is reliable. Run it several times before trusting it.

How to Make the Macro More Reliable

This is probably the most important advice if your actual goal is farming rather than simply beating Act 3 once.

Test your setup repeatedly.

You want to see whether the same sequence works when you run it again and again.

If the run fails occasionally, figure out where it fails.

If the same wave causes a leak every few runs, that’s your problem area.

Move the relevant unit, change an upgrade timing, or adjust the Goku safety activation.

Don’t rebuild everything at once.

Small changes are much easier to troubleshoot.

Rewards and Why the Raid Is Worth Farming

Once you have the Act 3 clear consistent, the raid becomes much more valuable as a farming method.

You’re not just clearing the raid for the sake of saying you beat it.

You can work toward Tengen, obtain Lanterns, purchase items from the Raid Shop, and collect useful resources such as rerolls and Fusion Chips.

The rerolls in particular can add up over multiple weeks.

So if you’re already playing Anime Origins regularly, getting a reliable Act 3 macro running is worth the initial setup time.
