The latest Clover Legends update brings a lot of new content to Roblox, including new Grimoires, Magic types, islands, bosses, weapons, brooms, mounts, and more. If you have not played for a while, there is quite a bit to check out.
In this guide, I will go through the biggest additions from the update, including the new Mercury Magic, Time Magic, Diamond Island, Midnight Sun Island, the new world boss, new brooms and mounts, and the Tide Blade.
Clover Legends Expansion Update – Codes, Mercury Magic
There is a good mix of combat and exploration content in this update, so let’s take a look at everything that was added.
New Mercury Magic
One of the biggest additions is the new Mercury Magic.
Mercury Magic comes with several different abilities, starting with its basic attacks and then moving into its unique skills.
Mercury Magic M1s
The M1 attacks fire small projectiles toward enemies.
They are fairly simple compared with some of the other abilities, but they give Mercury Magic a consistent basic attack.
Silver Chains
The first Mercury ability is Silver Chains.
This attack launches silver chains toward enemies and deals damage to them.
Silver Legion
Silver Legion is one of the more interesting abilities.
When activated, it creates two NPCs that fight alongside you. The summoned NPCs follow you around and attack enemies in the area.
This gives Mercury Magic some extra damage and makes the ability useful when fighting groups of enemies.
Silver Dome
Next is Silver Dome.
This ability creates an area around enemies and keeps them trapped inside while continuing to damage them.
It works somewhat like a domain-style attack, making it useful for controlling enemies while dealing continuous damage.
Silver Lance
The final Mercury move shown is Silver Lance.
The attack sends the lance upward before bringing it straight back down onto the target.
Overall, Mercury Magic has a good combination of summons, crowd control, and direct attacks.
New Time Magic
The update also adds Time Magic, which is a Mythical Magic.
Time Magic has several abilities based around time and clocks.
Hour Strike
Hour Strike is the basic attack for Time Magic.
It uses a time-based projectile attack and gives the Magic its unique visual style.
Clock Dial
The second ability is Clock Dial.
This is an area-of-effect attack that can hit multiple enemies at once.
Chronostasis
Chronostasis is one of the more unique Time Magic abilities.
The attack can stun enemies, giving you an opportunity to follow up with other attacks while they are unable to move.
Temporal Collapse
The final ability shown is Temporal Collapse.
It creates a large time-based attack and has one of the more creative animations from the new Magic abilities.
New Islands in Clover Legends
The update also adds new areas for players to explore.
Two of the islands highlighted in the update are Diamond Island and Midnight Sun Island.
These islands also introduce new NPCs, quests, bosses, and other activities.
Diamond Island
Diamond Island is one of the new areas added to Clover Legends.
The island has additional NPCs and quests for players to complete.
There is also a boss on the island connected to Diamond-related content.
Besides combat, you can also find useful locations such as:
- Mining area
- Forging shop
- Grimoire rolling area
- New NPCs
- New quests
So Diamond Island is more than just a place to fight a boss.
Midnight Sun Island
The other major area featured in the update is Midnight Sun Island.
This island is home to a new world boss that players can fight.
The boss has its own spawn timer, so you need to wait for the scheduled spawn if you want to fight it.
New Midnight Sun World Boss
The Midnight Sun update adds a new world boss with a much more elaborate fight than some of the normal enemies in the game.
The boss has a large model and uses different movement phases during the battle.
One of the most noticeable parts of the fight is how the boss can jump from wall to wall, creating different phases that make the encounter feel more like an actual boss fight.
The boss can also be defeated relatively quickly if your character has enough damage, but the mechanics make the fight more interesting than a simple stationary enemy.
New Brooms and Mounts
The update also introduces several new brooms and mounts.
Some of the ones shown include:
Flying Cloud
The Flying Cloud is one of the new broom-style mounts.
It has a simple design but gives players another option for traveling around the world.
Golden Royal Broom
The Golden Royal Broom is another new broom added with the update.
It has a more elaborate golden design compared with the standard options.
Shadow Broom
The Shadow Broom is another new mount with a darker appearance.
It is especially noticeable when used alongside different character auras.
Sheep Cloud
