One of the first major decisions you’ll make in Blox Monsters is choosing which Bloodlines to keep. While they might seem like small bonuses at first, Bloodlines can have a huge impact on your progression, especially when you’re hunting rare monsters, farming mutations, or trying to build the strongest team possible.
Some Bloodlines are designed around catching monsters more efficiently. Others improve egg hatching, boost mutation rates, or increase the chances of obtaining higher-ranked monsters. Since Bloodline rerolls are currently limited, understanding which ones are worth keeping can save you a lot of frustration later.
Here’s everything you need to know about Bloodlines in Blox Monsters.
Blox Monsters Bloodlines Tier List – Buffs, and Best Choices
Bloodlines function similarly to races or passive traits in other Roblox RPGs.
Each Bloodline grants permanent passive bonuses that remain active while equipped. These bonuses can affect:
- Catch Chance
- Rank Luck
- Mutation Chance
- Hatch Time
- Movement Speed
- Hidden Monster Quality
- Legendary Trait Chances
As you progress, you’ll unlock multiple Bloodline slots, allowing you to combine different bonuses and create specialized setups.
How to Unlock Bloodlines
The Bloodline NPC can be found in Misty Forest near the spawn area, not far from the Egg Hatcher.
When you first begin playing, you’ll receive:
- 3 Free Bloodline Rerolls
- 1 Free Bloodline Slot
After reaching Level 7, you’ll unlock a second Bloodline Slot.
Additional slots can be purchased through Robux if you want more flexibility in your build.
My recommendation is to avoid using all your rerolls immediately. Wait until you’ve unlocked your second slot so you can better plan which Bloodlines work well together.
How to Get Bloodline Rerolls
Currently, Bloodline Rerolls can only be obtained through Robux purchases.
To buy rerolls:
- Visit the Bloodline NPC.
- Select Buy Rerolls.
- Choose a reroll bundle.
- Complete the purchase.
At the moment, there is no free-to-play method for obtaining additional Bloodline Rerolls.
That makes choosing the right Bloodlines even more important.
All Bloodlines and Their Buffs
Blizzardy
Buffs
- +20% Movement Speed
Blizzardy is focused entirely on mobility. It’s useful for moving between areas faster but doesn’t directly help with monster progression.
Dreadspike
Buffs
- Catch Chance ×1.2
- Hidden Monsters guaranteed Rank D or higher
A decent beginner Bloodline, though it gets overshadowed by stronger catch-focused options later.
Stormwing
Buffs
- +25% Rank Luck
A basic Rank Luck Bloodline that provides a small boost to obtaining higher-ranked monsters.
Florahare
Buffs
- +50% Rank Luck
A stronger version of Stormwing that offers a respectable Rank Luck increase.
Snow Queen
Buffs
- Mutation Chance ×1.4
Snow Queen is useful if you’re specifically targeting mutated monsters and building powerful endgame teams.
Snowbloom
Buffs
- Catch Chance ×1.5
- Hidden Monsters guaranteed Rank C or higher
One of the better early and mid-game Bloodlines. Hidden Monster hunting becomes significantly more rewarding with Snowbloom equipped.
Wave Sprite
Buffs
- Currently unknown
Wave Sprite exists in the game but its bonuses have not yet been officially revealed.
Milofoy
Buffs
- +100% Rank Luck
A very strong Bloodline for players who want better monster ranks without focusing on mutations or hatching.
Serpent Deity
Buffs
- Hatch Time reduced by 15%
- Additional 10% chance for hatched monsters to receive a Legendary Trait
This is one of the best Bloodlines for players who constantly hatch eggs and farm boss rewards.
Auroraflare
Buffs
- Currently unknown
Like Wave Sprite, Auroraflare’s bonuses have not been fully revealed.
Picomori
Buffs
- Catch Chance ×2
- +100% Rank Luck
- Hidden Monsters guaranteed Rank B or higher
Picomori is one of the strongest Bloodlines currently available.
It boosts almost every aspect of monster collection and is especially valuable when hunting rare Hidden Monsters.
Sealed Calamity
Buffs
- Hatch Time reduced by 25%
- Additional 20% chance for hatched monsters to receive a Mutation
If your goal is maximizing egg value, Sealed Calamity is among the strongest choices in the game.
Exile Celestial
Buffs
- +200% Rank Luck
- Mutation Chance ×2
Exile Celestial is widely considered the strongest overall Bloodline available right now.
The combination of massive Rank Luck and doubled Mutation Chance makes it useful at every stage of progression.
Best Bloodlines for Different Playstyles
Best Bloodline for High-Rank Monsters
Exile Celestial
The +200% Rank Luck bonus is unmatched.
If you’re trying to build an army of powerful monsters with excellent stats, this should be your top priority.
Best Bloodline for Mutation Hunting
Exile Celestial
The doubled Mutation Chance makes it the clear winner.
Snow Queen can also be useful if Exile Celestial isn’t available.
Best Bloodline for Hidden Monsters
Picomori
Hidden Monsters are guaranteed to be at least Rank B, while the Catch Chance and Rank Luck bonuses make captures significantly more rewarding.
Best Bloodline for Egg Hatching
Sealed Calamity
A 25% Hatch Time reduction is huge considering some eggs take many hours to hatch.
The bonus mutation chance is simply icing on the cake.
Best Bloodline for Legendary Traits
Serpent Deity
If you’re hunting perfect hatchlings with rare traits, Serpent Deity provides the best support.
Bloodline Tier List
S Tier
- Exile Celestial
- Picomori
- Sealed Calamity
These are the Bloodlines most players should aim for long term.
A Tier
- Serpent Deity
- Milofoy
- Snowbloom
Excellent Bloodlines that remain useful throughout progression.
B Tier
- Snow Queen
- Florahare
- Stormwing
Good alternatives but generally weaker than the top options.
C Tier
- Dreadspike
- Blizzardy
Useful early on but usually replaced later.
Unranked
- Wave Sprite
- Auroraflare
Their abilities are currently unknown, so it’s difficult to accurately rank them.
Best Bloodline Combinations
Once you unlock multiple Bloodline slots, some combinations become especially powerful.
Exile Celestial + Picomori
Probably the strongest monster-hunting setup currently available.
You’ll gain:
- Massive Rank Luck
- Increased Mutation Chance
- Improved Catch Chance
- Better Hidden Monster rewards
Sealed Calamity + Serpent Deity
The ultimate egg-hatching combination.
This setup focuses entirely on creating powerful monsters through incubation by reducing hatch times while increasing the chances of obtaining mutations and Legendary Traits.
Exile Celestial + Sealed Calamity
A great hybrid setup that benefits both monster captures and egg farming.
While every Bloodline offers some kind of benefit, a few clearly stand above the rest. Exile Celestial remains the best overall Bloodline thanks to its enormous Rank Luck and Mutation bonuses, while Picomori dominates Hidden Monster hunting and Sealed Calamity excels at egg farming.
If you’re lucky enough to roll any of those three early, you’re already in a fantastic position. And if you eventually unlock multiple Bloodline slots, combining them can dramatically speed up your progression and help you build a collection of high-rank, mutated monsters much faster than the average player.
