The long-awaited Guild Wars Update has finally arrived in Anime Card Clash, and it’s easily one of the biggest updates the game has received so far. Instead of adding just another banner or event, the developers have introduced an entire guild-focused progression system with new game modes, cooperative boss fights, competitive guild battles, leaderboards, and exclusive rewards.

If you’re part of an active guild—or planning to join one—this update gives you plenty of reasons to log in every day.

Here’s a complete breakdown of everything added in Update 8.5.

Anime Card Clash Guild Wars Update Guide – Everything Added in Update 8.5

The major additions include:

  • Guild Hunt
  • Guild Boss Raids
  • Guild Wars
  • Guild Leaderboards
  • Guild Statues
  • Guild Coins
  • Relic Coins
  • Valor System
  • Roll Bag feature
  • Various quality-of-life improvements

Most of the new content revolves around working together with your guild, so joining an active guild is more important than ever.

Guild Hunt Explained

Guild Hunt is the first major activity introduced in the update.

It’s essentially an endless PvE mode where your guild works together to clear increasingly difficult floors.

One interesting addition is that players can even spectate ongoing Guild Hunt battles by selecting the active battle option.

This lets you watch your guildmates progress through higher floors without participating directly.

Floor Rewards

Rewards are earned as your guild reaches milestone floors, including:

  • Floor 10
  • Floor 50
  • Floor 100
  • Higher floors beyond that

Each milestone rewards players with valuable currencies.

Guild Hunt Rewards

Completing Guild Hunt floors can reward:

  • Guild Coins
  • Relic Coins
  • Valor
  • Additional milestone rewards

Guild Coins

Guild Coins appear to be the primary currency for guild progression and purchasing guild-related items.

Relic Coins

Relic Coins are another important currency introduced alongside the update.

They’re used for newer guild systems and progression features unlocked later.

Valor

Valor tracks your participation within guild activities.

While its complete purpose isn’t fully explained yet, it appears to reward active members who regularly contribute to guild content.

Guild Hunt Leaderboards

Guild Hunt includes competitive rankings.

There are two separate leaderboard categories:

  • Current Guild Hunt
  • Lifetime Best

The higher your guild ranks, the better the rewards become.

Top-ranked guilds receive significantly larger prize pools than lower placements.

Leaderboard Rewards

Top guilds can earn rewards such as:

  • Large amounts of Guild Coins
  • Guild Emblems
  • Guild Boss Keys
  • Additional ranking rewards

Guild Boss Keys are especially valuable because they’re required to start Guild Boss Raids.

Guild Boss Raids

Guild Bosses are cooperative raid encounters where your entire guild works together against powerful enemies.

Only guild members with the required permissions can start these raids.

However, starting one isn’t free.

You’ll first need a Guild Boss Key earned from Guild Hunt.

This creates a nice progression loop:

Guild Hunt → Earn Boss Keys → Challenge Guild Bosses

Guild Boss Difficulties

Guild Bosses come in multiple difficulties, including:

  • Easy
  • Medium
  • Hard

Each difficulty features stronger bosses with significantly more health.

The harder the difficulty, the better the rewards.

Bosses also summon additional enemies during the encounter, making teamwork much more important.

Guild Boss Rewards

Completing Guild Boss Raids rewards players with several useful resources.

Possible rewards include:

  • Guild Coins
  • Runic Coins
  • Valor
  • Contribution Points

The better your guild performs, the more rewards everyone receives.

Guild Boss Progression

Guild Bosses include their own milestone system.

As your guild deals more cumulative damage, you’ll unlock additional rewards.

This works similarly to global boss events where damage milestones continually unlock new prizes.

The update includes numerous milestone tiers, giving guilds plenty of long-term goals.

Guild Statues

Another completely new system introduced in Update 8.5 is Guild Statues.

Guild members can upgrade statues by reaching various damage milestones during guild activities.

Although the full system is still being balanced, statues appear to provide passive bonuses for the entire guild.

Some of these upgrades increase useful stats like luck, making them valuable long-term investments.

Guild Wars

Guild Wars are the competitive centerpiece of the update.

Instead of fighting AI enemies, your guild battles other player guilds.

The Guild Wars interface includes several sections:

  • Battle
  • History
  • Team
  • Leaderboards
  • Rewards
  • Information

This makes it easy to manage your guild’s progress throughout each season.

Guild War Matchmaking

Guild Wars operate on a scheduled system.

A new opponent becomes available roughly every three hours, allowing guilds to battle multiple times throughout the day.

Before each war begins:

  • Your roster becomes locked.
  • Team compositions are finalized.
  • Guild members prepare their strongest decks.

Planning ahead becomes just as important as having powerful cards.

Team Preparation

Guild Wars allow players to prepare their decks before battle.

Guild members can also view each other’s lineups, making it easier to coordinate strategies and avoid duplicate team compositions.

Communication within your guild will likely become much more important after this update.

Friendly Guild Battles

Not every Guild War needs to be competitive.

The update also introduces Friendly Guild Challenges.

Guild leaders can customize:

  • Number of participants
  • Starting time
  • Match settings
  • Other battle options

This is perfect for practicing strategies without affecting rankings.

Guild War History

Every Guild War is automatically recorded.

The History page keeps track of:

  • Wins
  • Losses
  • Previous battles
  • Friendly matches

It’s a useful feature if you want to review past performances or see how your guild has improved over time.

Roll Bag Feature

Outside of guild content, Update 8.5 also introduces the Roll Bag.

This quality-of-life feature unlocks after reaching 50 million total rolls.

Instead of immediately using every roll you earn, the Roll Bag stores your natural rolls for later.

This means you can save large numbers of rolls and spend them whenever you want.

For example, many players will likely save their rolls for major updates or limited-time banners instead of using them immediately.

Tips for the Guild Wars Update

If you’re jumping into the update for the first time, here are a few things worth doing:

  • Join an active guild as soon as possible.
  • Participate in Guild Hunt every day.
  • Help your guild earn Boss Keys.
  • Complete Guild Boss Raids whenever they’re available.
  • Upgrade Guild Statues whenever possible.
  • Coordinate deck builds with guild members before Guild Wars.
  • Save your Roll Bag for banners featuring units you really want.

Update 8.5 is easily one of the biggest content drops Anime Card Clash has received. Instead of focusing solely on individual progression, the game now encourages teamwork through Guild Hunt, Guild Bosses, and Guild Wars, while adding valuable rewards like Guild Coins, Relic Coins, Runic Coins, and Valor.

The addition of Guild Statues and the Roll Bag also gives players more long-term progression goals beyond simply collecting stronger cards. Whether you’re aiming for leaderboard rewards or just looking for a more active community to play with, joining a strong guild has become one of the most important parts of the game after this update.
