If you’ve just jumped into Anime Astral Simulator Update 10.0, there’s honestly a lot more going on than you might expect from a normal update.
This update adds the new Tempest Federation world, new pets and avatars, Titan Passives, Primordial Demons, Runes, a new Tower game mode, a renaming system, new progression, mounts, global quests, and, of course, some new codes to grab free rewards.
I went through the update systems one by one, and there are a couple of things you’ll want to understand before you start spending your resources. Some systems are pretty straightforward, while others are a little confusing when you first open them.
So, let’s go through Update 10.0 and break down what actually matters.
How to Unlock the Tempest Federation in Anime Astral Simulator
The new Update 10.0 world is called the Tempest Federation.
Getting there is actually pretty simple.
You need to complete all of the quests in Z City. Once you finish those quests, you’ll be able to move on to the new Slime-themed world.
The Tempest Federation adds a new area to explore, along with its own progression systems, pets, avatars, quests, and other update-exclusive content.
The world itself isn’t anything ridiculously complicated, so if you’ve already progressed through the previous areas, unlocking it shouldn’t be a huge problem.
What Was Added in Update 10.0?
There is a surprisingly large amount of content packed into this update.
Here are the main additions:
- New World 14: Tempest Federation
- 9 new pets
- 7 new avatars
- 1 main quest line
- 1 side quest
- New title
- 2 new pet accessories
- 1 new boss accessory
- Titan Passives
- Primordial Demons
- Runes
- Renaming system
- New God Spirits
- New progression
- Ruins Tower game mode
- New relic-related progression
- Increased player level cap
- New ranks
- New quality-of-life features
- Update 10 codes
And that’s before you start combining some of these systems together.
Anime Astral Simulator Titan Passives Explained
One of the biggest new systems in Update 10.0 is Titan Passives.
You can find the Titan Passive system in the Tempest Federation.
The basic idea is pretty easy to understand: you can roll a passive onto your Titan to give it an additional boost.
There are eight passive rarities, with each rarity offering a different level of bonus.
The system goes all the way up to Divine, which can provide a very strong boost.
You can also equip two Titans, which makes these passive bonuses even more important as you continue progressing.
If you’ve used systems similar to the sword upgrades before, the Titan Passive system should feel fairly familiar.
You basically want to keep improving the passive on your Titans and eventually work toward better rarities.
One thing worth mentioning is that some parts of the system appeared to be disabled or unfinished during the initial release because the developers wanted to get Update 10.0 out sooner.
So, if something looks strange or doesn’t work exactly as expected, it may simply be part of the early-update bugs.
How Titan Passives Work
The basic loop is:
- Get a Titan.
- Open the Titan Passive system.
- Roll for a passive.
- Try to improve the rarity.
- Equip your strongest Titan setup.
Since you can use two Titans, don’t completely ignore your second slot.
As the update develops and players figure out the best passive combinations, having two strong Titans should become increasingly valuable.
Primordial Demons Explained
The next major system is Primordial Demons.
These are also found in the Tempest Federation, and unlike Titan Passives, the main purpose here is providing different global-style boosts.
Different Primordial Demons give different bonuses.
The available boosts include things such as:
- Luck
- Yen
- XP
- Drop
- Damage
- Power
The higher rarities provide stronger versions of these bonuses.
The important thing here is that you don’t necessarily want to sell every Primordial you get just because another one has a higher rarity.
Different Primordials have different purposes.
For example, one might be useful when you’re farming Power, while another could be much better when you’re trying to increase your Luck.
Primordial Demon Rarities and Bonuses
The update introduces several levels of Primordial Demons, with the strongest versions offering huge multipliers.
One of the notable examples is the Mythical Primordial, which can provide a 2x Power boost.
Higher rarities can provide even larger bonuses, including the Divine version.
Because each Primordial can specialize in a different stat, I’d recommend keeping at least one copy of each useful bonus type instead of immediately selling everything.
That’s especially helpful when you’re using the game’s Equip Best function.
You don’t want to accidentally throw away a Primordial that gives a useful stat simply because another one had a higher rarity.
Primordial Demon Boosts Can Double
Here’s one of the more interesting parts of the system.
The Primordial you equip can activate its bonus periodically.
Every 90 seconds, the equipped Primordial activates and increases its boost for 30 seconds.
That means the bonus temporarily becomes much stronger.
For example, a Primordial providing 2x Power can effectively become 4x Power during its boosted period.
And if you’re using the Divine version, the boost can reach an enormous 12x during the activation.
That makes the timing of this system surprisingly important if you’re trying to maximize farming.
If you’re about to do something that benefits heavily from your Primordial’s stat, you may want to pay attention to when the temporary boost activates.
Should You Keep Multiple Primordials?
I would.
At least early on, there’s very little reason to throw away every extra Primordial without checking what it provides.
The biggest reason is simple: different bonuses are useful for different situations.
You might want:
- Power for progression
- Damage for combat
- Luck for better rolls
- Yen for farming
- XP for leveling
- Drop bonuses for farming materials
So don’t just look at rarity.
Look at the actual bonus.
Anime Astral Simulator Runes Explained
Update 10.0 also introduces Runes, which are another major progression system.
Runes come with eight rarities, starting from Common and going all the way to Divine.
The rarity determines how many attributes the Rune can have.
Lower rarities have fewer attributes, while the strongest Divine Runes can carry up to six attributes.
There are 11 possible attributes in total, with stats including things like:
- Power
- Damage
- Coins
- And other progression-related bonuses
This means two Runes of the same rarity don’t necessarily have to be equally valuable.
The actual attributes matter.
A Rune with the right combination of stats could be much more useful to your build than another Rune with a higher rarity but poor attributes.
How to Get Runes – Ruins Tower
If you’re wondering where the Runes actually come from, this is where the new Ruins Tower game mode comes in.
The Ruins Tower is the main source of Runes.
The tower contains 80 floors, and you’ll progress through the floors during a run.
There are also landing points throughout the climb, with rewards tied to how far you manage to reach.
The higher you climb, the better the Rune rarity you can obtain.
For example, the update information indicates that:
- Floor 30 can provide Rare rewards
- Floor 80 can provide Divine rewards
So if you’re serious about getting the strongest Runes, you’re eventually going to want to push much deeper into the tower.
Ruins Tower Gameplay
The tower works a little differently from a normal farming area.
You enter the mode and start climbing through the floors while fighting enemies.
During the run, you can obtain different temporary boosts.
These can include things like Power and Damage bonuses.
You’ll also encounter special rewards and progression points along the way.
One thing I noticed while testing the mode is that you don’t immediately get every Rune-related reward the second you encounter it.
You generally need to finish the current run before you can properly claim and equip some of the rewards.
So don’t panic if you pick something up and can’t immediately equip it.
Finish the run first.
You Can Stop a Ruins Tower Run
You don’t necessarily have to push all the way to Floor 80 every single time.
You can stop your run at a certain point and keep the progress/rewards you’ve earned from the run.
This is useful if your current team simply isn’t strong enough to continue.
There’s no reason to waste time repeatedly getting stuck on a floor when you can bank what you’ve already earned and come back stronger later.
Of course, the long-term goal is to push as far as possible because the best Rune rarities are found deeper in the tower.
New Renaming System
Update 10.0 also introduces a renaming system for pets and mounts.
You can give one of your pets or mounts a custom name, and the name itself can provide an additional boost.
The system uses certain naming restrictions because the name has to pass through Roblox’s filtering rules.
From the information shown in the update, names need to follow restrictions such as:
- 3–20 characters
- At least one letter
- Up to 3 digits
- No repeated characters
- No symbols
You can also search for pets by their assigned names, which is pretty useful if your collection starts getting huge.
Does Renaming Give You a Permanent Boost?
Here’s the interesting part.
You can rename your pet or mount multiple times, but the bonus only counts from the first rename.
So don’t waste your resources repeatedly changing names expecting to stack the bonus.
The first valid rename is what matters for the buff.
There is also a cost associated with renaming, so you’ll want to make sure you’re happy with the name before spending your resources.
The rename system is therefore more than just cosmetic.
It gives you another small way to improve your overall progression.
New God Spirits
Update 10.0 also introduces new God Spirits.
These are tied into the game’s newer progression systems and give players another way to improve their account.
If you’ve already been keeping up with the previous spirit systems, this should feel relatively familiar.
The important thing is simply not to ignore the new progression tab after reaching the Tempest Federation.
There are several different systems added at once, so it’s easy to miss something.
New Mounts in Update 10.0
There are also new mounts available with the update.
One of the new mounts provides a combination of Luck, Power, and Coin bonuses.
Another offers a combination involving Damage, Luck, and Power.
Based on the testing shown in the update, one of the newer mounts provides around 1.75x Damage, 6x Luck, and additional Power.
These bonuses can make a meaningful difference depending on what you’re farming.
If you’re focused on obtaining better summons, a Luck-heavy mount may be more useful.
If you’re already comfortable with your Luck and want to push damage or Power, another mount could be the better choice.
So again, don’t automatically assume the mount with the highest single multiplier is always the best one.
Update 10 Bundle
The Update 10 bundle includes several useful items, including a mount, tickets, and potions.
There’s also a mount-focused bundle available.
The bundle can be purchased more than once, but personally, I’d be careful about immediately buying multiple copies.
Unless you specifically need the extra resources right now, saving your currency for future content can be the smarter move.
Anime Astral Simulator is constantly adding new systems, and resources that seem unnecessary today can become extremely useful in the next update.
Anime Astral Simulator Update 10 Codes
There are also new codes to redeem with Update 10.
One of the codes shown in the update is:
UPDATE10
This code gives 1,000 of the associated reward currency/tickets shown in the update.
There’s also:
SORRYFORDELAY
This was another code added alongside the update and provides additional free rewards.
If you’re starting Update 10 with a new account or you’re trying to catch up, make sure you redeem the available codes before spending your own resources.
Free tickets are free tickets.
There’s really no reason to leave them sitting unused.
New Global Quests
Update 10 also adds a set of global quests.
These aren’t necessarily quests you’ll finish immediately. Some of them are designed as longer-term objectives that players can work toward while naturally playing the game.
Examples include objectives such as:
- Defeat Rudia 20,000 times
- Roll a Secret from Greater Spirit
- Roll a Divine from Spirit Queen Essence
- Complete 14 side quests
- Complete 14 index maps
- Obtain the Arcane Mask
- Reach Rank 78
The nice thing about these is that you don’t need to stop everything you’re doing just to complete them.
Keep playing normally and you’ll gradually make progress toward many of these objectives.
Best Update 10 Strategy for New Players
If you’re relatively new to Anime Astral Simulator, don’t get overwhelmed by the number of new menus.
There are a lot of them.
Your first goal should simply be getting through the previous world’s progression and unlocking Tempest Federation.
Once you’re there, start collecting the new systems one at a time.
Don’t immediately chase the absolute best Divine everything.
You’ll burn through resources extremely quickly that way.
Instead, build a functional setup first.
Get a decent Titan passive, collect different Primordials, start climbing Ruins Tower, and gradually replace your weaker Runes with better ones.
Once your account is stronger, that’s when you can start seriously hunting for perfect combinations.
Update 10 is a pretty substantial update for Anime Astral Simulator.
The Tempest Federation itself is only part of the update. The real reason this update matters is all the new progression layered on top of it.
Titan Passives give Titans another way to scale.
Primordial Demons give you specialized boosts that can temporarily become much stronger.
Runes add another layer of stat customization.
And the Ruins Tower gives you an actual reason to keep pushing your account because it’s the primary source of those Runes.
The update does have some rough edges, especially with certain systems appearing buggy or confusing at launch, but there’s still a lot here to work through.
If you’re playing Anime Astral Simulator right now, I’d definitely start by unlocking Tempest Federation, redeeming the new codes, and then working your way into Titan Passives, Primordials, and Ruins Tower.
Those are the systems that are going to matter the most as you continue progressing through Update 10.
