The Laboratory update in Roblox Animal Hospital gives us a lot of new things to experiment with, especially when it comes to DNA samples, serums, and their strange effects. You can collect samples from patients, analyze them in the lab, and combine different ingredients to create serums that can completely change a patient or even your own character.
In this post, I’ll tell you about the DNA sample and serum system, the different combinations shown in the guide, and what effects they can produce. Some combinations can make patients invisible, set them on fire, make them extremely fast or slow, change their appearance, and much more. The green serums can also give your own character some very unusual transformations.
The Laboratory system can look confusing when you first start using it, especially because normal patients and anomaly patients are connected to different types of samples. So, let’s go through everything step by step and look at the known DNA combinations and effects.
All DNA Sample Results & Effects in Roblox Animal Hospital
Before we can start creating different serums, we first need to collect DNA samples from patients.
You will need to use your sampler to collect samples. Once you have a sample, you can take it to the Laboratory and use the equipment there, including the sequencer and other lab machines, to analyze and process it.
These samples are basically the ingredients we use for creating different variants and serum effects.
One important thing I noticed is that the type of patient you collect a sample from matters. Regular patients are connected to the normal sample system, while anomaly patients are important when you want to create and use the green serum effects.
Also, try to collect your samples before patients enter certain rooms. During the gameplay shown in the guide, samples could not be collected from patients once they had entered places such as the surgery room.
The Two Types of Serums
There are two main types of serums that we need to know about:
- Pink Serums
- Green Serums
The Pink Serums are mainly used for effects on patients. These can completely change how a patient looks or behaves.
The Green Serums are more connected to effects that can be used on your own character. This is where we can get transformations such as becoming a ghost or a clown.
Let’s start with the Pink Serum combinations.
Pink Serum DNA Combinations and Effects
The following combinations were shown with their effects.
TTT – Turns the Patient Into a Mimic
The TTT combination turns the patient into a mimic.
Once affected, the patient can become hostile and start attacking other characters around them. This is definitely one of the more chaotic effects you can create in the Laboratory.
CCC – Produces Slime
The CCC combination causes the patient to rapidly produce slime.
This creates a messy effect around the patient and can leave you with quite a cleanup job afterward.
TAG – Makes the Patient Invisible
The TAG combination makes the patient completely invisible.
This is one of the funniest effects because you can still try to treat the patient even though you can barely see them. Fortunately, there can still be a small visual effect around the patient that helps you figure out where they are.
Seeing an invisible patient walking around the hospital is definitely one of the more entertaining things you can do with the DNA system.
GAT – Sets the Patient on Fire
The GAT combination causes the patient to catch fire.
As you might expect, this gives the patient a burning effect and is one of several fire-related combinations available through the Laboratory.
AA – Changes the Patient’s Eyes
The AA combination changes the patient’s eyes.
The result makes the patient look like they have completely lost their sanity, giving them a strange and unsettling appearance.
TTC – Makes the Patient Slower
The TTC combination makes the patient significantly slower.
If you want to see how different effects can change the way a patient behaves, this is one of the combinations that directly affects their movement.
GAC – Changes Fur Color
The GAC combination changes the color of the patient’s fur.
This allows you to alter the appearance of the patient and see them with a completely different color.
AT – Starts a Large Fire
The AT combination creates another fire effect.
This one was described as causing a much bigger fire effect on the patient, making it another chaotic option to experiment with.
ACA – Gives the Patient NPC Hair
The ACA combination gives the patient NPC-style hair.
The effect can make the patient look particularly strange, with a hairstyle similar to the classic Roblox NPC appearance.
CTT – Makes the Patient Extremely Fast
The CTT combination makes the patient extremely fast.
This is basically the opposite of the TTC effect. Instead of slowing the patient down, you will see them moving around much faster.
CGCG – Makes the Patient Glow
The CGCG combination gives the patient a glowing effect.
This changes their appearance and makes them visibly stand out from other patients.
Green Serum DNA Combinations and Effects
The Green Serum system is a little different from the Pink Serum system.
One important thing we need to remember is that green serum samples are connected to anomaly patients. If you try using the wrong type of sample, your experiment may fail or become unstable.
So, when you want to experiment with Green Serums, make sure you collect the correct samples from anomaly patients.
CGT – Makes Your Character Dance
The CGT combination makes your character start dancing.
This is more of a fun visual effect than a major gameplay transformation, but it is still interesting to unlock and experiment with.
ATA – Shrinks Your Character
The ATA combination shrinks your character.
This gives you a smaller character model and is one of the more noticeable transformations available through the Green Serum system.
ACG – Strange Serum Message
The ACG combination displays a message telling you that you drank a strange serum.
This appears to be connected to combinations that may not have a major visible transformation or effect.
GTG – Turns You Into a Ghost
The GTG combination turns your character into a ghost.
This is one of the more interesting Green Serum transformations. After successfully creating and using the serum, your character gets a ghost-like appearance.
The transformation can also help you unlock the related achievement.
If your first attempt does not work, double-check that you entered the combination correctly and that you are using the proper anomaly sample for the Green Serum.
CAC – Turns You Into a Clown
The CAC combination transforms your character into a clown.
This is another fun appearance-changing effect that you can unlock by experimenting with Green Serum combinations.
TGC – Reduces Detection Range
The TGC combination reduces your detection range by five points.
Unlike the ghost and clown effects, this one works more like a gameplay modifier.
How to Get Samples From Anomaly Patients
If you are trying to create Green Serums, you need to pay attention to anomaly patients.
Regular patients and anomaly patients can give you different types of samples, and the Green Serum experiments require the appropriate anomaly-related samples.
When an anomaly appears, try to collect your sample before the patient moves into a room where sampling is unavailable.
This can sometimes be frustrating because anomaly patients may quickly move toward other areas of the hospital, including rooms where you can no longer collect a sample from them.
So, when you spot an anomaly, it is a good idea to prioritize collecting its DNA sample as quickly as possible.
How to Create a Serum
Once you have collected a suitable sample, head back to the Laboratory.
Insert your sample into the laboratory equipment and begin the DNA sequencing process. After the sample has been analyzed, you can enter the combination needed for the effect you want.
For example, you can enter combinations such as TAG to create the invisibility effect for a patient or GTG when using the correct Green Serum setup to transform yourself into a ghost.
After entering the correct sequence, wait for the serum to finish processing.
If the experiment is successful, you can take the completed serum and use it to activate its effect.
Why Your DNA Experiment Might Become Unstable
Sometimes a DNA combination may fail and display an unstable result.
There are a few things worth checking if this happens.
First, make sure you entered the combination correctly. Even one incorrect letter can cause your experiment to fail.
You should also make sure you are using the correct type of sample. Green Serum experiments are connected to anomaly samples, so trying to create one with an unsuitable regular sample may not work.
Finally, double-check the combination before starting the process. Some of the effects have similar letter combinations, so it is easy to accidentally enter the wrong sequence.
The DNA Laboratory system in Roblox Animal Hospital adds a completely different way to experiment with patients and your own character. From making patients invisible and extremely fast to turning yourself into a ghost or clown, there are plenty of strange effects to discover.
The Pink Serums are great when you want to experiment with different patient transformations, while the Green Serums become especially interesting once you start collecting samples from anomaly patients.
If you are trying to unlock achievements, have some fun experimenting, or simply want to see all the strange things you can create in the Laboratory, collecting different samples and testing these combinations is definitely worth doing. Just make sure you grab those anomaly samples when you get the chance, because you will need them for some of the most interesting Green Serum effects.
