How To Become A Demon In Project Slayers 2 Roblox
The basic process looks like this:
- Spawn in Beginner Village.
- Lower your reputation to -40.
- Reach at least Level 4.
- Unlock Wall Climb.
- Find the NPC known as Man.
- Start his Demon quest.
- Collect the required Spider Lilies.
- Complete the remaining objectives.
- Become a Demon.
- Start farming Demon Progress.
The most important thing is that you shouldn’t rush to level up unnecessarily before becoming a Demon.
If you’re trying to become a Demon as early as possible, you can complete the process at around Level 4.
Step 1: Get -40 Reputation
After spawning in Beginner Village, your first objective is to get your reputation down to -40.
The easiest way to do this is by killing civilians.
You’ll find civilians throughout the starting village, and killing them will lower your reputation.
However, there is one important detail you need to remember.
Kill Regular Civilians
When you’re looking for civilians to defeat, make sure their name does not have a star next to it.
The civilians with stars are associated with quests and aren’t the ones you want to farm for this process.
Look for NPCs whose name simply says:
Civilian
without the additional star.
Continue defeating them until your reputation reaches -40.
Why -40 Reputation?
Once you reach the required negative reputation, the NPC known as Man will begin interacting with you.
The dialogue will eventually tell you to seek him out.
The requirement was initially believed by some players to be -50 reputation, but the guide confirms that -40 reputation is enough to start the Demon process.
Step 2: Stay At The Lowest Level Possible
If your goal is to become a Demon as quickly as possible, you shouldn’t spend time completing unnecessary quests.
The lowest level used in the guide is Level 4.
The reason you need to reach Level 4 is because you need enough skill points to unlock Wall Climb.
Wall Climb is extremely important because you’ll need it later during the Spider Lily portion of the Demon quest.
Why Do You Need Wall Climb?
After you find Man and begin the Demon quest, you’ll eventually need to reach an elevated area and speak with the doctor NPC.
You can’t reach that area properly without Wall Climb.
So even though you want to keep your level as low as possible, Level 4 is the practical minimum because of the skill-tree requirement.
Make sure you unlock:
- Double Jump
- Wall Climb
before continuing.
Should You Do Quests Before Becoming A Demon?
Generally, no.
If your only goal is to become a Demon as early as possible, avoid unnecessary quests because they will give you experience and increase your level.
However, there is one exception worth considering if you don’t have Kamado.
The Delivery Quest
If you don’t have Kamado and want to make your early Demon progression easier, you can complete the delivery quest in Beginner Village.
The quest involves the NPC with pink hair and a pitchfork.
Completing this quest allows you to interact with the clothing shop NPC in Mist Village, whose clothing inventory rotates.
This is useful because you can potentially purchase a Sun Hat.
Why Should You Get A Sun Hat?
The Sun Hat can make early Demon progression much easier.
As a Demon, sunlight is a major problem, so having something that allows you to deal with the daytime more comfortably can save you from constantly hiding in shade and waiting for nighttime.
The clothing shop rotates its available items every hour.
Because of this, you should check the shop whenever the rotation changes and look for the Sun Hat.
However, don’t feel like you have to get it immediately.
If the Sun Hat isn’t available, you can simply continue working toward -40 reputation and the Demon quest.
The Sun Hat is useful, but it isn’t the requirement that stops you from becoming a Demon.
Step 3: Find Man
Once you’ve reached -40 reputation and have Wall Climb, your next objective is finding Man.
Man can appear in several locations, but two locations are particularly useful to check:
- Mist Village / Mist Harbor
- Snow Village
These are the two locations you should focus on when searching for him.
Man Location – Mist Village
Mist Village is one of the easier places to check.
From Beginner Village, take the usual route toward the Bear Area.
Continue through the normal path until you reach the Mist area.
Once you reach Mist Village, Man can be found walking around the upper steps and nearby paths.
He doesn’t necessarily stand completely still.
Instead, he walks back and forth through his designated path.
If you don’t see him, don’t waste too much time searching the entire map.
You can either server hop or check the Snow Village.
Man Location – Snow Village
The Snow Village is another important place to check.
However, there is a major problem with this location.
The snow causes damage over time.
Because of this, you should ideally search the Snow Village at nighttime.
Man can walk through this area along a set path.
You’ll generally see him walking down one section, turning around, and then returning along the same route.
Be Careful With Snow Damage
The Snow Village can drain your health extremely quickly if you’re not prepared.
That’s why I don’t recommend spending unnecessary time here.
If Man isn’t there, you can leave and try another server rather than standing around while the environment slowly destroys your health.
Best Way To Search For Man
There are several possible spawn locations for Man, but you don’t need to constantly travel around the entire map.
A simple method is to rotate between:
Snow Village → Mist Village → Snow Village
If possible, set your spawn near the Snow Village and then travel down toward Mist Village.
If Man isn’t in either location, reset or server hop and try again.
You can also spend several minutes checking both areas because he may not appear immediately when nighttime begins.
If you have access to a Muzan tracker, that can make the search much easier.
Server Hopping For Man
If you don’t want to deal with the Snow Village’s environmental damage, you can use a different strategy.
Set your spawn around Mist Village and server hop whenever nighttime arrives.
Each time you enter a new server, check the Mist Village area for Man.
If he’s not there, move to another server and repeat the process.
This can take some patience, but eventually you’ll find him.
The guide notes that Man seemed to appear more frequently in the Snow Village during nighttime, but Mist Village is still worth checking.
Step 4: Start Man’s Demon Quest
Once you’ve found Man and meet the reputation requirement, interact with him.
He’ll give you the next objective in your Demon progression.
This is where the Spider Lily hunt begins.
Your next job is to find the required Spider Lilies.
Best Spider Lily Farming Locations
There are several possible Spider Lily spawn points around the map.
You don’t necessarily need to search every location.
Instead, focus on the cluster of spawn points in the areas around Mist Village and the nearby lake and houses.
The guide highlights several useful locations that are close enough together to create a farming route.
Some of the main spots include:
- Around the lake
- Near the surrounding paths
- Around the house
- Near the nearby structures
- Along the edges of the area
- Additional nearby ground spawn points
The important thing is to check the entire cluster rather than waiting at one location.
Create A Spider Lily Farming Route
The easiest way to farm them is to make a loop.
Start at one spawn point, check the nearby locations, then continue around the area until you’ve checked the entire route.
Instead of standing still and waiting for one Lily to appear, keep moving between the known locations.
This makes your farming much more efficient.
There are more possible Spider Lily spawn points than the main group mentioned in the guide, but the highlighted locations are useful because they’re concentrated in a relatively small area.
Use A Private Server If Possible
If you have access to a VIP or private server, I strongly recommend using it for Spider Lily farming.
The reason is simple: other players can pick up the Spider Lilies.
During busy periods, especially around a major game release, public servers can become extremely competitive.
You may arrive at a spawn point only to discover that another player has already collected the Lily.
A private server removes that competition and makes the farming process much easier.
Why Private Servers Are Better
In a private server:
- You don’t compete with other players.
- You can check every spawn yourself.
- Your farming route stays consistent.
- You don’t have to race other players to the items.
- You can focus entirely on completing the Demon quest.
If you have a private server available, use it.
Spider Lily Farming Route
A simple route is to move through the concentrated spawn area and check every location before returning to the beginning.
Look around:
- The lake.
- The nearby open ground.
- The house area.
- The surrounding paths.
- The nearby structures.
- The additional spawn points around the same area.
Keep repeating the loop until you have everything required for the quest.
The exact spawn positions can change, so don’t assume a Lily will always appear at the same location.
Become A Demon
Once you’ve completed Man’s objectives and collected the required Spider Lilies, you’ll be able to finish the Demon transformation process.
At this point, you can begin playing through the game as a Demon.
Your next major objective is no longer becoming a Demon.
It’s building your Demon Progress.
How Demon Progress Works
After becoming a Demon, open the player information menu.
On PC, you can press M and open the player information section.
There you’ll find your Demon Progress.
Your Demon Progress starts at Level 1.
Each Demon Progress level provides additional bonuses and stats, so increasing it becomes an important part of your long-term Demon progression.
However, you don’t need to obsess over it immediately after becoming a Demon.
When Should You Start Farming Demon Progress?
The guide recommends focusing on your normal character progression first.
A reasonable target is around:
Level 100–150 Demon Progress
After reaching that point, you can return to dedicated Demon Progress farming if you want to push it further.
The important thing is that you shouldn’t let Demon Progress distract you from your other progression goals.
Get your weapons, obtain important drops, unlock upgrades, and build your character first.
Then you can dedicate more time to Demon Progress.
Best Way To Farm Demon Progress
One of the easiest ways to farm Demon Progress is by fighting the Bears around the Bear Area.
The enemies drop souls that contribute toward your Demon Progress.
There are two main targets:
- Bear Cubs
- Mother Bear
Bear Cub Rewards
Each Bear Cub gives you a Weak Soul worth:
5 Demon Progress
They also respawn relatively quickly.
According to the guide, a Bear Cub can respawn in roughly 20 seconds, making them very efficient for repeated farming.
Mother Bear Rewards
The Mother Bear gives a stronger reward:
15 Demon Progress
She takes longer to respawn, with the guide mentioning roughly 2 minutes.
Because the Bear Cubs respawn much faster, you can continuously cycle through them while waiting for the Mother Bear.
World Boss Demon Progress
World bosses can also provide Demon Progress.
The guide mentions that world bosses that drop world items can provide around:
25 Demon Progress
However, they aren’t necessarily the most efficient farming method.
Even if you can solo them, killing a world boss takes longer than farming the Bears.
For consistent farming, the Bear Area is therefore much more convenient.
Demon Progress Farming With 2x Souls
If you have access to a 2x Soul boost, your Demon Progress farming becomes even faster.
The basic strategy is simple:
- Kill the Bear Cubs.
- Kill the Mother Bear.
- Collect the souls.
- Wait for the enemies to respawn.
- Repeat the process.
Because the Bear Cubs respawn quickly and the Mother Bear returns after a few minutes, you can keep the area in a constant farming cycle.
A private server also makes this much easier because you don’t have to compete with other players for the enemies.
Should You Farm Demon Progress Immediately?
Not necessarily.
This is one of the biggest beginner tips from the guide.
After becoming a Demon, don’t feel like you have to spend hours immediately grinding Demon Progress.
Your priority should be getting stronger overall.
For example, you can focus on:
- Better weapons
- Weapon upgrades
- V2 weapons
- Boss drops
- Demon Arts
- Other important progression
- Character levels
- Gear and materials
Once you’ve handled the important parts of your build, come back to the Bear Area and farm Demon Progress.

Don’t Over-Level Before Becoming A Demon
If you want the fastest possible transformation, stay around Level 4.
You only need Level 4 because of the skill points required for Wall Climb.
Kill The Correct Civilians
Make sure you’re killing normal civilians without the star next to their name.
Quest-related civilians aren’t the ones you want for reputation farming.
Get Wall Climb Early
Wall Climb is essential for reaching the doctor during the Demon quest.
Don’t forget to unlock it before searching for Man.
Check Man At Night
The Snow Village is especially important during nighttime.
If you don’t find him there, check Mist Village and consider server hopping.
Avoid Staying In The Snow Too Long
The Snow Village damages you over time.
Until you’re properly prepared for the cold environment, don’t spend more time there than necessary.
Use A Private Server For Spider Lilies
Other players can collect the Spider Lilies.
A private server removes that competition and makes the process much easier.
Don’t Obsess Over Demon Progress
Your Demon Progress is important, but it doesn’t need to be your first priority after becoming a Demon.
Build your character first, then return to the Bear Area and grind your progression.
Becoming a Demon in Project Slayers 2 is actually pretty straightforward once you know the correct order.
