If you’re trying to figure out which clan is actually worth using in Project Slayers 2, this guide should make things a lot easier. There are a lot of clans in the game, and just because a clan is rare doesn’t automatically mean it’s the best option for every player.
In this post, I’ll go through the clans one by one and explain what makes each of them useful, where they struggle, and what kind of build they work best with. Some clans are strong because of their general stats, while others become much better when paired with a specific Breathing Style or Blood Demon Art.
Keep in mind that this tier list is based on each clan’s best-use scenario. So I won’t simply put every Mythic clan above every Legendary or Rare clan. If a lower-rarity clan can massively improve a particular build, I think it deserves to be considered. With that in mind, let’s go through the clans and see what each one brings to the table.
Roblox Slayers 2 Clan Tier List – Best Clan Ranking 2026
Before getting into the individual clans, there’s one thing I want to make clear.
I’m not ranking these clans purely based on rarity.
A Mythic clan isn’t automatically better just because it’s Mythic. Some clans are extremely specialized and only become powerful when you’re using the right Breathing Style or BDA.
For example, if a clan gives huge bonuses to a particular Breathing Style that is already strong, that clan can become extremely valuable for that specific build.
So when I’m looking at these clans, I’m mainly considering their best practical use, their passives, skills, stats, and how much they can improve a build.
Some placements can also depend on personal preference. A clan that’s amazing for PvP might not be nearly as useful for someone who mainly farms bosses or levels up.
Makomo Clan
Let’s start with Makomo.
Honestly, I don’t think there’s a lot to be excited about here.
Makomo is a Rare clan, but compared with the other Rare options, its bonuses are pretty underwhelming.
It gives you things like increased dash speed, sword damage during its mode, Water-related bonuses, Katana mastery, and some additional damage.
Those bonuses aren’t completely useless. Extra damage is always nice, and increased movement speed can definitely help.
The problem is that the overall package doesn’t give you enough to compete with some of the better clans.
For me, this is one of the weaker options in the list.
Overall
Makomo is mainly useful if you don’t have access to something better, but I wouldn’t specifically aim for it when there are stronger alternatives available.
Tier: D
Doma Clan
Doma is a much more interesting clan because of its Demon-focused utility.
One of its abilities allows you to dodge some M1 attacks, while another lets you leave behind a clone and teleport back to it.
The clone ability can be useful if you’re caught inside a combo. You can use it as a way to escape and reposition yourself.
Doma also gives you immunity to the cold or snowy region, which can be useful when you’re traveling through those areas.
However, the biggest reason I would consider Doma is its mastery bonus.
Doma gives 25% mastery for your Demon Art and weapon.
That’s a pretty significant bonus if you’re actively farming mastery.
What’s especially useful is that Doma is one of the clans that provides BDA mastery, making it particularly valuable for Demons who are trying to level up their Blood Demon Art.
Who Should Use Doma?
If you’re a Demon and you’re focused heavily on grinding mastery, Doma becomes much more attractive.
Outside of that specific purpose, though, I think there are stronger options.
Tier: B
Akaza Clan
Akaza’s clan is interesting because it doesn’t rely on having an enormous number of passives.
A lot of its strength comes from the skills it provides.
One of the biggest advantages is its counter ability. Having access to a counter can be extremely useful, especially in PvP situations where you can punish an opponent for attacking at the wrong time.
It also has abilities such as Combat Intuition and Indomitable Will.
Another major advantage is its additional damage factor, which is extremely high.
When you combine the high damage potential with a useful counter, you get a clan that can perform very well in combat.
I wouldn’t say it’s automatically the best Mythic clan, but I can definitely see why you’d want it for a combat-focused Demon build.
Best Use
I think Akaza makes the most sense for players who care about PvP and want a strong combination of damage and defensive utility.
Tier: S
Agatsuma Clan
Agatsuma is the Thunder-focused clan.
This one becomes much more valuable when you’re already using Thunder Breathing because its bonuses directly improve the style.
It also has a skill that causes enemies hit by it to take additional damage.
The real reason I rate Agatsuma highly is the interaction with Thunder.
Thunder is already extremely strong, so giving it additional bonuses makes the overall build even more dangerous.
Its mode also improves Flaming Thunder God by adding burn damage, which gives you even more damage on top of the existing kit.
Best Use
If you’re planning to use Thunder Breathing, Agatsuma becomes a very attractive option.
The clan doesn’t need to be amazing for every build because its main purpose is to make Thunder better.
Tier: S
Shahabana Clan
Shahabana is one of those clans that I think is better than it might initially look.
It has several passives and skills, and its kit has a strong focus on poison.
One of its skills applies poison, which is probably one of the more useful parts of the clan.
It also provides resistance against poison damage.
There are additional effects involving movement speed and a party buff, giving the clan some utility outside of its main poison theme.
The main issue is that Shahabana doesn’t seem to improve one specific build as dramatically as some of the other specialized clans.
You can make use of its poison-related effects, but there are other clans that specialize in poison and can potentially provide more value.
Still, I wouldn’t call it a bad clan.
Best Use
Shahabana is more flexible than some of the extremely specialized clans, and its poison-related abilities can make it useful in the right build.
Tier: A
Susamaru Clan
Susamaru is heavily focused around Tamari.
That’s both its biggest strength and its biggest weakness.
If you’re already using Tamari, the clan can provide useful bonuses, including a benefit when you’re playing alongside someone from the same clan.
However, outside of that specific situation, I don’t think there’s a huge reason to choose Susamaru over stronger options.
It’s not completely useless, especially considering its rarity, but there are simply other clans that offer more overall value.
Best Use
I would mainly consider Susamaru if you’re specifically building around Tamari and want to take advantage of its bonuses.
Tier: C
Yahaba Clan
Yahaba is another clan that has some specialized utility.
The biggest reason I would place it above some of the weaker Rare options is its combo extender.
Having an additional combo-extending ability is useful in general, especially if you’re building around PvP combos.
It doesn’t necessarily have the same overall impact as some of the higher-tier clans, but a good combo extender is always valuable.
Best Use
Yahaba makes more sense for players who want additional combo potential rather than a purely defensive or farming-focused clan.
Tier: C/B
Tamayo Clan
Tamayo has a very different design compared with many of the other clans.
Instead of giving you a bunch of useful passive bonuses, most of its value comes from its skills.
You get three moves that apply different debuffs to enemies you hit or, depending on the ability, enemies who hit you.
It also has some healing and support capabilities.
The problem is that you need to actively use those skills to get the value from the clan.
If you’re not landing the abilities, a lot of the clan’s potential is effectively wasted.
That’s why I wouldn’t personally place Tamayo very high.
It isn’t a useless clan, but when I’m choosing a clan, I generally prefer having useful passive bonuses that are working for me throughout the fight instead of relying so heavily on landing specific skills.
Tier: C/B
Kamado Clan
Now we get to one of the clans that immediately stands out.
Kamado is extremely strong, especially for Demons.
One of its biggest advantages is Sun immunity for Demons.
That’s a massive benefit because it removes one of the major weaknesses Demons have to deal with.
Kamado also provides regeneration for Demons, and according to the information discussed in the original tier-list analysis, it is the clan specifically associated with this Demon regeneration effect.
Kamado’s Combat Utility
Kamado also has access to Combat Intuition, which can give you additional damage after you’ve taken damage.
You also get Indomitable Will, which is extremely useful as a combo extender.
There are additional defensive bonuses as well, including damage reduction when you’re low on health.
The clan also provides benefits related to health regeneration, stamina regeneration, movement speed, and other combat stats.
Overall, the combination of offensive stats, defensive utility, regeneration, and Sun immunity makes Kamado extremely valuable for Demon players.
Best Use
If you’re playing a Demon, Kamado is one of the first clans I’d look at.
Its Sun immunity alone gives it a very strong purpose, and the additional combat bonuses make it even more useful.
Tier: S
Urokodaki Clan
Urokodaki is one of the best examples of a clan that becomes much stronger when you’re using the right Breathing Style.
Its main focus is Water Breathing.
Urokodaki gives bonuses such as increased Water damage, Water Breathing mastery and EXP, and reduced stamina costs.
It also provides additional night vision while wearing a mask and damage reduction while wearing one.
These bonuses aren’t nearly as impressive if you’re not using Water Breathing.
But if you are using Water, the clan becomes much more interesting.
Best Use
For a Water Breathing build, Urokodaki can provide a significant boost.
The reason I don’t place it at the very top is simply because its usefulness is heavily tied to Water.
Tier: B
Uzumaki Clan
Uzumaki is another clan that I think is much better than its niche nature might suggest.
One of its biggest benefits is a 25% quest EXP factor, which helps you level up faster.
It also has strong poison-related utility.
You take reduced poison damage and can essentially turn poison into healing, meaning poison-focused opponents can actually put themselves at a disadvantage when fighting you.
That’s a very interesting defensive mechanic.
Uzumaki also provides enhanced hearing, which allows you to deal additional damage to affected targets.
Another ability gives you access to different temporary effects, including things such as health restoration, dodging the next five M1 attacks, additional damage, and increased stamina with stamina restoration.
There’s also a defensive effect that can help you perfectly block incoming skills.
Overall
Uzumaki has a surprisingly useful combination of leveling, defensive, offensive, and anti-poison mechanics.
It’s not necessarily the universal best clan, but I think it deserves a high position because of how much utility it provides.
Tier: S
Iguro Clan
Iguro used to be one of the strongest options for PvE and boss farming.
However, after its changes, it isn’t quite as dominant as it used to be.
Previously, its ability could provide a free 10% damage effect against bosses it hit.
That made it extremely strong for PvE.
Even after the changes, though, Iguro is still a useful clan for boss killing.
It provides additional movement speed and can also improve venom and poison damage.
That makes it particularly interesting if you’re using a poison-focused build.
Best Use
I wouldn’t call Iguro a bad clan at all.
It’s still useful for PvE and boss farming, especially if your build takes advantage of its poison-related bonuses.
Tier: A
Kocho Clan
Kocho is one of the clans I really like if you’re building around poison.
It’s particularly useful for Insect Breathing.
One of its major benefits is complete poison immunity.
That already gives it a strong defensive purpose, but the clan also has several other passives and skills that improve its poison-focused playstyle.
Its mode provides additional poison-related bonuses and can apply extra debuffs on top of the poison.
If you’re using Insect Breathing, Kocho also provides 15% additional poison damage.
That’s a very useful bonus for a build that already revolves around poison.
Best Use
If you’re planning to use Insect Breathing, Kocho becomes much more valuable than it might look when compared against clans with more general-purpose bonuses.
You get poison immunity, additional poison damage, and more effects through the clan’s mode.
Tier: A
Tomioka Clan
Tomioka is another Water-focused clan.
It provides a significant bonus to Water damage and also has a unique discount effect.
Its skill can also reset two of your skill cooldowns, which can be especially useful when you’re using Water Breathing.
On paper, these are useful abilities.
The main problem is that they’re heavily tied to Water.
If Water Breathing becomes stronger or you’re specifically building around it, Tomioka can become much more attractive.
Compared with Urokodaki, I would personally place Tomioka higher because of the additional utility from its skill and stronger Water-focused bonuses.
Still, its overall position is held back by how specialized it is.
Tier: B/A
Shinazugawa Clan
Shinazugawa is one of the more flexible clans on this list.
It has an ability that increases your damage, along with additional damage, stamina cost, and movement speed bonuses.
Interestingly, it doesn’t focus as heavily on Wind as you might expect.
Instead, it provides several poison-related bonuses.
That makes it useful across multiple builds rather than forcing you into one specific Breathing Style.
You also get additional mastery and weapon mastery, along with quest EXP benefits.
This can make Shinazugawa especially useful during the early and mid-game when you’re still leveling and developing your character.
Best Use
The biggest advantage of Shinazugawa is flexibility.
You can use it with different Breathing Styles and still get useful benefits.
That’s why I think it deserves a high placement.
Tier: S
Himejima Clan
Himejima is a much more defensive option.
It’s a very tanky clan that gives you several damage-reduction benefits while also providing additional damage when you land certain attacks.
It also provides quest EXP, which gives it some extra value during progression.
I don’t think Himejima is as universally useful as some of the top clans, but if you want a tankier playstyle, it can be a solid option.
Best Use
Himejima is particularly appealing if you care about survivability and want a build that can take more punishment while still dealing respectable damage.
Tier: A
Rengoku Clan
Rengoku is one of the most powerful clans discussed in this tier list.
Its biggest strength is its damage potential.
It provides a very high damage factor and gives you additional burn damage on your first M1.
That makes your basic attacks much more threatening.
The clan also provides reduced Flame damage and immunity to Indomitable Will, giving it some useful defensive benefits on top of its offensive power.
Rengoku’s Mode
Rengoku’s mode is another major reason the clan stands out.
It provides additional damage and increases your burn damage even further.
When you combine the extra M1 damage, burn effects, damage bonuses, and defensive passives, you get a very powerful overall package.
For a general Slayer build, Rengoku is particularly appealing.
Of course, specialized clans can still make more sense if you’re specifically building around something like Insect, Thunder, or another Breathing Style with strong clan synergy.
But as a general-purpose option, Rengoku has a lot going for it.
Tier: S
Ubuyashiki Clan
Ubuyashiki is probably the most unusual clan on this list.
One of its abilities can summon a Demon Slayer, although the exact usefulness of the summoned NPC can depend on how the mechanic works in practice.
Another skill causes the summoned unit to self-destruct, but the exact damage potential of that ability isn’t completely clear from the information available.
The more interesting part of the clan is its ability to make an enemy’s block ineffective.
Your attacks can effectively bypass their block, which could be very useful in PvP situations.
Ubuyashiki also provides 2% enhanced drop luck.
That’s a unique stat because the drop-luck bonus is one of the main reasons to consider this clan for farming.
Best Use
If you’re interested in obtaining drops and farming items, the drop-luck bonus gives Ubuyashiki a very specific purpose.
The block-breaking utility also makes it interesting for combat.
I wouldn’t put it in the same category as the most universally useful clans, but I think it’s stronger than it might initially appear.
Tier: A
Why Rarity Isn’t Everything
After looking at all of these clans, there’s one thing I think is really important to understand.
You shouldn’t automatically assume that a Mythic clan is better than every Legendary or Rare clan.
Rarity matters because higher-rarity clans generally have more powerful or numerous abilities, but synergy matters too.
For example, a clan that provides a huge bonus to Insect Breathing can be more useful to an Insect player than a supposedly stronger clan that doesn’t provide any meaningful synergy with the build.
The same applies to Thunder, Water, poison-focused builds, Demons, and other specialized setups.
That’s why I prefer looking at clans based on their best use case rather than simply ranking them by rarity.
Build Synergy Can Change Everything
Your Breathing Style or BDA should play a major role in deciding which clan you want.
If you’re using Thunder, Agatsuma becomes much more attractive.
If you’re using Insect, Kocho provides a lot of useful synergy.
If you’re using Water, Urokodaki or Tomioka can become much more valuable.
If you’re a Demon, Kamado has several major advantages.
And if you’re focused on mastery grinding, Doma has a very specific benefit that can make it worthwhile.
This is why there isn’t necessarily one clan that every single player should use.
Your build changes the value of the clan.
What About the Lower-Rarity Clans?
I wouldn’t completely ignore the lower-rarity clans.
Some of them can still perform very well when paired with the right build.
A lower-rarity clan that directly improves your Breathing Style can sometimes outperform a higher-rarity clan that doesn’t provide any meaningful synergy.
That’s especially important if you’re starting out and don’t have access to the rarest clans yet.
Instead of constantly worrying about getting a Mythic, look at what your current clan actually gives you.
If its bonuses fit your build, you can still make good progress with it.
My Overall Take on the Clan Tier List
After going through all the clans, I think the most important thing is to look beyond the tier itself.
The strongest general-purpose clans have a combination of good damage, useful passives, defensive options, and abilities that work across multiple builds.
At the same time, specialized clans can become extremely powerful when their bonuses line up with the right Breathing Style or BDA.
Damage-over-time and poison-focused builds are especially interesting because several clans can significantly improve those effects.
For me, the clans that stand out the most are the ones that either provide strong general-purpose stats or have exceptional synergy with a powerful build.
Rengoku, Kamado, Akaza, Agatsuma, Uzumaki, and Shinazugawa all have strong reasons to consider them, while clans like Kocho, Urokodaki, Tomioka, and Doma become much more interesting when you’re specifically using the build they support.
So, that’s my full clan breakdown for Project Slayers 2.
Remember that this list is based on the clans in their best-use scenarios, and the rankings can change depending on balancing, Breathing Style strength, BDA strength, and future updates.
I also wouldn’t treat the exact placement of every clan as permanent. If a Breathing Style gets buffed or nerfed, the clan supporting that style can move up or down with it.
That’s also what makes the clan system interesting.
You don’t always need to chase the rarest clan. Sometimes finding a clan that perfectly matches the build you want to play can give you more value than simply choosing a higher-rarity clan.
So before you decide what clan you want to use, look at your Breathing Style or BDA first and then see which clan gives you the best synergy with it.
