The latest Anime Update has arrived in World Zero, bringing a brand-new battle pass packed with anime-inspired cosmetics, mounts, weapon skins, auras, and collectible rewards. If you’re wondering whether the pass is worth grinding or just want to see everything available before spending your event currency, here’s a complete breakdown of the highlights.
After spending some time checking out the rewards, it’s clear this is one of the more anime-heavy passes World Zero has released. Fans of series like Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, and several others will immediately recognize many of the inspirations behind the cosmetics.
World Zero Anime Battle Pass Guide – Treachery Aura, Rewards
As usual, the first week focuses on earning event currency and battle pass experience before the event boss becomes available.
Most of your progress comes from:
- Daily event activities
- Finding skulls around the map
- Flying through hoops
- Completing side quests
- Playing regular content for Battle Pass XP
Finding three skulls each day is one of the easiest ways to steadily level the pass. Since the event lasts over 30 days, there’s plenty of time to collect rewards even if you aren’t playing every day.
The event boss wasn’t available during the first week, but historically bosses become the best source of event currency once they unlock.
Free Battle Pass Rewards
The free track contains a surprisingly good collection of cosmetics.
Some of the notable rewards include:
- Devil Angel Horns
- Grand Crown
- God Cape
- Sakura Kimono
- Shadow Daggers
- Vanguard Crown
- Vanguard Hat
- Event Mount
- Multiple Aura Chests
- Currency and bonus rewards
The Devil Angel Horns are fairly simple but work well with darker outfits. They’re not the flashiest reward in the pass, but they’re easy to match with different cosmetic setups.
The Grand Crown stands out more as a display item. It’s one of those cosmetics that looks much better when paired with matching armor or anime-themed outfits.
I also liked the God Cape more than I expected. Depending on the dye color you roll, it can fit a surprisingly wide range of builds.
Sakura Kimono and Shadow Daggers
The Sakura Kimono is one of the cleaner cosmetics on the free track.
The default colors may not appeal to everyone, but once players start experimenting with dyes, it has a lot of customization potential.
The Shadow Daggers are another solid reward. They’re relatively simple compared to some of the premium cosmetics, but the darker color palette gives them a sleek appearance that fits assassin-style characters nicely.
Vanguard Set
The Vanguard Hat and Vanguard Crown are clearly inspired by Bleach aesthetics.
When equipped together they create a complete look, although color mismatches from random dyes can sometimes make the set feel a little awkward. Personally, I think the default appearance often looks better than some of the random color combinations.
Free Mount Reward
One of the best free rewards is the event mount unlocked later in the pass.
The mount floats above the ground and comes with solid glide performance. While it doesn’t have flashy particle effects or elaborate idle animations, it actually glides longer than many players might expect.
For a completely free reward, it’s definitely worth unlocking.
Premium Battle Pass Rewards
The premium track is where most of the anime-inspired cosmetics are located.
Some of the biggest rewards include:
- Requiem Mask
- Hollow Mask
- Dreambound Circle
- Final Kimono
- Super Instinct Aura
- Captain Jacket
- Cursed Wings
- Premium Mount
- Additional Aura Chests
- Exclusive Title
The Hollow Mask is one of my favorite cosmetics from the pass. Bleach fans will instantly recognize the inspiration, and it looks fantastic when paired with darker outfits.
The Requiem Mask is another standout. Certain dye colors can make it look incredible, although some random black dye combinations hide a lot of the details.
Super Instinct Aura
Dragon Ball fans will probably gravitate toward the Super Instinct Aura.
Unlike many static cosmetics, this aura follows your character and creates a noticeable visual effect during gameplay.
The appearance changes significantly depending on the color you receive, but even the default version stands out well in combat.
Premium Mount: Fire Fox
The premium mount is a Fire Fox that uses colored flames rather than standard fire effects.
The blue flame version looked particularly nice during testing. While the mount doesn’t include many particle effects, its animations are smooth and the design fits the anime theme perfectly.
Players who enjoy collecting mounts will likely want this one.
Manga Present Rewards
Manga Presents return as another source of cosmetic rewards.
Possible drops include:
- Recon Gear
- Shockkeeper Hat
- Spirit Tail
- Ghoulish Mask
- Spirit Guardian Items
- Exile Prince Mask
- Teeth Mask
Many of these are inspired by popular anime series.
The Recon Gear is clearly based on Attack on Titan, while the Ghoulish Mask draws inspiration from Tokyo Ghoul.
The Exile Prince Mask ended up being one of the better-looking rewards in my opinion. It sits naturally on the character model and works well with a variety of outfits.
Treachery Aura Chest Rewards
One of the most interesting additions in the update is the Treachery Aura Chest.
These chests can be earned through:
- Battle Pass progression
- Event wheel spins
- Event rewards
The chest contains several weapon skins along with multiple weapon auras.
Possible aura rewards include:
- Thousand Cuts Aura
- Star Girl Aura
- Sakura Lash Aura
- Elements Aura
- Cursed Flame Aura
- Esper Aura
- Black Flash Aura
- Treachery Aura
Most of the weapon skins share a similar visual theme, although some classes received slightly different designs.
The Sword and Shield skin was probably my favorite weapon cosmetic from the chest. It has a surprisingly detailed design and looks great in combat.
Best Aura: Treachery Aura
The rarest reward is the Treachery Aura.
With an extremely low drop rate, it’s easily the most sought-after item from the chest.
What makes it stand out isn’t just the rarity. The aura applies a dark black-and-purple effect to weapons, creating a much more dramatic appearance than most standard auras.
The visual effect stays noticeable without becoming overwhelming, which is exactly what many players look for in a high-end cosmetic.
If you’re planning to farm aura chests, this is probably the reward you’ll be chasing.
Emperor and Wildfire Dragon Rewards
The previous event chests were still available during the update and featured two impressive dragon mounts.
Emperor Dragon
The Emperor Dragon remains one of the best-looking mounts currently available.
Its black-and-blue color scheme, floating animations, and particle effects give it a premium appearance that stands out immediately.
Wildfire Dragon
The Wildfire Dragon offers a green-themed alternative.
Its breathing fire animation and glowing effects make it visually impressive, especially while gliding around event areas.
