Souls are one of the most important progression systems in Souls Crossover X. While weapons and armour determine much of your damage and survivability, the Soul you equip provides permanent stat bonuses and, in many cases, powerful passive abilities that can completely change how your character performs in combat.
When I first started playing, I assumed every new Soul was simply a direct upgrade over the previous one. While the stats do steadily improve, I quickly realised that some Souls are better suited for certain playstyles. Some focus on raw damage, others improve survivability, while a few offer excellent mobility or resource recovery during long farming sessions.
This guide explains every Soul currently available, including its stats, passive ability, crafting requirements, and the situations where each one performs best. By the end, you’ll know which Souls are worth crafting first and which one should become your long-term goal.
Souls Crossover X Tier List – Best Souls Guide, Effects
Every player begins the game with the Human Soul, but as you defeat bosses and collect Soul Shards, you’ll gradually unlock stronger Souls through crafting or special shops.
Each Soul increases your character’s base stats, including Health, Walk Speed, Jump Power, and Mana Points. Higher-tier Souls provide significantly larger bonuses, and many also include unique passive abilities that activate during combat.
Since crafting higher Souls requires both gold and Soul Shards dropped by specific bosses, upgrading your Soul becomes a long-term progression system rather than something you’ll complete in a single play session.
Human Soul
Human Soul is the default Soul every player starts with.
Stats
- +10 HP
- +1 Walk Speed
- +1 Jump Power
- +10 Mana Points
Unlike the later Souls, Human Soul doesn’t provide any passive ability. Its stat bonuses are extremely small, making it suitable only for the very beginning of the game.
You’ll want to replace it as soon as you unlock another Soul because nearly every other option offers a huge increase in survivability and overall combat effectiveness.
Patience Soul
Patience Soul is usually the first real upgrade most players will craft.
Crafting Requirements
- 50 Gold
- 2 Patience Soul Shards
- Crafted through the Sans Crafting NPC
Stats
- +100 HP
- +2 Walk Speed
- +2 Jump Power
- +100 Mana Points
Calm Mind
Patience Soul comes with the Calm Mind passive.
After standing still for five seconds, your character gains 20% additional damage for three seconds.
This passive works surprisingly well if you can prepare before entering combat or if you’re fighting bosses that give you small openings before the battle begins.
However, during fast-paced fights where you’re constantly moving, activating the passive consistently can be difficult.
While it isn’t one of the strongest Souls later in the game, it’s still a noticeable improvement over the Human Soul.
Integrity Soul
Integrity Soul focuses on mobility and resource management.
Crafting Requirements
- 1,000 Gold
- 2 Integrity Soul Shards
Stats
- +250 HP
- +3 Walk Speed
- +3 Jump Power
- +150 Mana Points
Unbound
Its Unbound passive provides two useful bonuses.
Every enemy you defeat restores 25 Mana, allowing you to continue using abilities for longer periods without worrying about running out of resources.
It also unlocks a second jump, giving you much better mobility while exploring the world or avoiding enemy attacks.
From my experience, this Soul feels especially comfortable during long grinding sessions because the extra Mana recovery keeps your abilities available much more often.
Kindness Soul
Kindness Soul shifts the focus away from damage and instead provides much better survivability.
Crafting Requirements
- 2,500 Gold
- 2 Kindness Soul Shards
Stats
- +500 HP
- +4 Walk Speed
- +4 Jump Power
- +250 Mana Points
Guardian’s Grace
Guardian’s Grace restores 25 HP every time you defeat an enemy.
It also grants a shield that blocks one incoming hit, with a 15-second cooldown before it can activate again.
These two effects work extremely well together.
During farming sessions, the healing helps you stay healthy while clearing groups of enemies, and the shield can prevent unexpected deaths during tougher encounters.
If you value consistency and survivability more than raw damage, Kindness Soul is one of the safest options available.
Perseverance Soul
Perseverance Soul is a straightforward upgrade that focuses entirely on improving your base stats.
Crafting Requirements
- 5,000 Gold
- 2 Perseverance Soul Shards
Stats
- +1,000 HP
- +5 Walk Speed
- +5 Jump Power
- +500 Mana Points
Unlike several other Souls, Perseverance doesn’t currently include a listed passive ability.
Instead, its strength comes from the significant increase in Health, Mana, and mobility.
If you prefer reliable stat improvements without depending on passive effects or special conditions, Perseverance Soul remains a solid upgrade.
Justice Soul
Justice Soul represents another major jump in overall character strength.
Crafting Requirements
- 10,000 Gold
- 2 Justice Soul Shards
Stats
- +2,000 HP
- +6 Walk Speed
- +6 Jump Power
- +2,000 Mana Points
Besides its impressive stat bonuses, Justice Soul also serves as one piece of the Justice Set.
The complete set includes:
- Justice Soul
- Empty Gun
- Cowboy Hat
If you’re planning to collect full equipment sets, Justice Soul becomes even more valuable since it’s required to complete one of the game’s themed builds.
Bravery Soul
Bravery Soul is one of the strongest offensive Souls currently available.
Crafting Requirements
- 25,000 Gold
- 2 Bravery Soul Shards
Stats
- +3,500 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +7 Jump Power
- +3,500 Mana Points
Battle Spirit
After successfully hitting the same enemy eight times, Bravery Soul increases your damage by 24%.
This passive performs best during longer boss fights where you’re constantly attacking the same target.
Against stronger enemies with large health pools, the bonus damage activates consistently and noticeably improves your damage output.
If your build focuses on dealing as much damage as possible, Bravery Soul is easily one of the strongest choices before reaching Seven Soul.
Determination Soul
Determination Soul offers outstanding base stats without relying on complicated passive abilities.
Requirements
- Level 200
- 10,000 Gold
- 2 Determination Soul Shards
Stats
- +5,000 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +7 Jump Power
- +5,000 Mana Points
Unlike Bravery or Kindness, Determination Soul doesn’t include a unique passive.
Instead, its enormous Health and Mana bonuses make it a dependable choice in every type of content.
I personally like Souls that don’t require special conditions to be effective, and Determination fits that role perfectly by simply making your character much stronger at all times.
Tem Soul
Tem Soul is obtained differently from most Souls.
Instead of crafting it through the Sans NPC, it’s purchased from the Tem Shop.
Requirements
- Level 30
- 100 Gems
Stats
- +1,000 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +15 Jump Power
- +1,000 Mana Points
The biggest highlight is its incredible 15 Jump Power, making it easily the best mobility-focused Soul in the game.
If you enjoy exploring the map, reaching elevated areas, or simply moving around more comfortably, Tem Soul stands out thanks to its unmatched jumping ability.
It’s also part of the Tem Set, which includes:
- Tem Soul
- Tem Armour
- Dead and Dreams Title
Seven Soul
Seven Soul is widely considered the ultimate Soul in Souls Crossover X.
Instead of specialising in one area, it combines exceptional Health, Mana, and mobility into a single package.
Stats
- +7,777 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +7 Jump Power
- +7,777 Mana Points
These are the highest balanced base stats currently available, making Seven Soul the strongest all-around choice for nearly every build.
Crafting Requirements
Crafting Seven Soul is a major endgame objective.
You’ll need:
- 50,000 Gold
- 100 Gems
- 2 Seven Soul Shards
- 2 Patience Soul Shards
- 2 Integrity Soul Shards
- 2 Kindness Soul Shards
- 2 Perseverance Soul Shards
- 2 Justice Soul Shards
- 2 Bravery Soul Shards
- 2 Determination Soul Shards
The crafting process takes place at the Sans Crafting NPC.
Since every Soul Shard drops from a different boss, collecting everything required for Seven Soul takes considerable time and dedication.
Soul Shards
Every crafted Soul requires Soul Shards.
Each type of Soul Shard drops from a specific boss somewhere in the game world.
Because of this, collecting every Soul isn’t simply about saving enough Gold. You’ll also need to defeat multiple bosses repeatedly until you’ve obtained every required shard.
If your goal is Seven Soul, expect to spend plenty of time farming different bosses before you finally gather all the materials.
Soul Progression
For most players, the natural progression looks something like this:
Human Soul → Patience Soul → Integrity Soul → Kindness Soul → Perseverance Soul → Justice Soul → Bravery Soul → Determination Soul → Seven Soul
You don’t necessarily have to craft every Soul immediately, but following this progression keeps your stats improving steadily as you progress through the game.
Soul Recommendations
Although Seven Soul is unquestionably the strongest overall option, the best Soul still depends on your preferred playstyle.
Seven Soul offers the highest overall stats and is the best long-term goal for nearly every player.
Bravery Soul is perfect if your focus is dealing as much damage as possible during extended boss fights.
Kindness Soul provides excellent healing and defensive utility, making difficult content much more forgiving.
Integrity Soul shines during farming thanks to its Mana restoration and useful double jump.
Tem Soul is the clear winner for players who value mobility and exploration thanks to its unmatched Jump Power.
No matter which Soul you choose, upgrading from the Human Soul should be one of your highest priorities. Every new Soul provides a noticeable improvement, but Seven Soul remains the ultimate objective thanks to its incredible stats and well-rounded performance.
