The reality is a little different.
Many players are unlocking the base weapon only to realize later that they still need a large amount of extra materials for mastery. If your goal is to get Frost Empress as efficiently as possible, it’s important to understand the entire progression route before you start farming.

Where to Start the Frost Empress Quest
The Frost Empress weapon quest begins on the newly added Frost Island in C2.

The boss spawns:

- Frost Empress Weapon
- 1 Ice Core
- 25 Soul Fragments
- 10 Bankai Essences
Unlike the base weapon requirements, mastery pulls materials from multiple sources.
How to Get the Kuchiki Clan
The Kuchiki Clan is required for Frost Empress mastery.
Since clan acquisition relies on rerolls, preparation is important.
