Choosing the right class in Protect the Border can make a huge difference, especially once you start reaching the more expensive classes. Some classes give you more HP, while others provide better weapons or unique equipment.

If you’re wondering which class you should save for, the answer is pretty simple: Spetsnaz is the best free-to-play target, while Juggernaut is the strongest premium class for raw HP.

Here’s how the strongest classes compare.

Protect the Border Best Classes Tier List – Cost, HP

If you’re willing to spend Robux and simply want the class with the highest HP, Juggernaut is the clear winner.

  • Cost: 139 Robux
  • HP: 250
  • Primary: M249
  • Secondary: Desert Eagle

With 250 HP, Juggernaut has the highest health of the classes covered here. That’s a significant advantage when you’re trying to survive longer fights.

The M249 also gives you a powerful primary weapon, while the Desert Eagle provides a strong secondary option.

So if your priority is maximum durability, Juggernaut is the premium class to get.

Best Free Class: Spetsnaz

Don’t want to spend Robux? Then your main goal should be Spetsnaz.

  • Cost: 8,000 Gold
  • HP: 200
  • Primary: Groza
  • Secondary: CZ75

Spetsnaz is the strongest regular Gold class in this lineup and gives free-to-play players a clear end-game target.

The jump to 200 HP is substantial compared with the cheaper classes, and the Groza gives you a strong primary weapon to match.

If you’re playing without spending Robux, I’d recommend saving your Gold rather than constantly buying smaller upgrades.

Special Forces

Before you can reach Spetsnaz, Special Forces is one of the best intermediate classes.

  • Cost: 5,500 Gold
  • HP: 175
  • Primary: FN SCAR-L
  • Secondary: Colt 1911

The 175 HP puts it comfortably above most of the earlier Gold classes, and the FN SCAR-L gives you a solid weapon for progressing through the game.

If 8,000 Gold feels far away, Special Forces is a worthwhile stepping stone.

FBI Specialist

FBI Specialist is another strong upgrade before reaching Special Forces.

  • Cost: 5,000 Gold
  • HP: 160
  • Primary: Gallo
  • Secondary: Colt 1911

The 160 HP gives you a noticeable improvement over the lower-tier classes.

It’s not the final destination for a free player, but it’s a useful upgrade while you’re building toward Special Forces and eventually Spetsnaz.

Field Medic

Field Medic is a little different from the other classes because it replaces the usual secondary weapon with a Medkit.

  • Cost: 4,500 Gold
  • HP: 150
  • Primary: FAMAS
  • Equipment: Medkit

The lower HP compared with FBI Specialist isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker because the Medkit gives the class additional utility.

If you prefer having healing available during combat rather than simply relying on another weapon, Field Medic can be a useful choice.

Other Free Classes

There are several other Gold classes you’ll encounter before reaching the stronger options.

Hazmat

  • HP: 150

Hazmat provides a decent health pool and sits among the earlier higher-tier options.

Black Ops

  • HP: 145

Black Ops gives you a respectable boost over the basic classes and can help bridge the gap toward the more expensive upgrades.

SWAT

  • HP: 140

SWAT is another solid upgrade as you work your way through the progression.

Customs Officer

  • HP: 130

Customs Officer sits below the 140+ HP classes but is still an improvement over the basic options.

Senior Agent

  • HP: 120

Senior Agent is another early upgrade before you start reaching the more powerful classes.

Patrol Agent

  • HP: 110

Patrol Agent has the same 110 HP shown for the starting tier.

Rookie

  • HP: 110

Rookie is the starter class, making it the baseline for comparing the later upgrades.

Best Premium Alternatives

Juggernaut isn’t the only premium option. There are several other Robux classes worth considering depending on the weapons and playstyle you prefer.

SOS Operator

SOS Operator is one of the stronger premium alternatives.

  • HP: 170
  • Primary: AA-12
  • Secondary: CZ75

The AA-12 makes this class particularly interesting if you prefer close-range firepower.

It doesn’t come close to Juggernaut’s 250 HP, but it’s still a strong premium option.

Frogman

Frogman comes with:

  • HP: 160
  • Primary: AS Val

It’s a good option if you’d rather have a different weapon setup instead of simply maximizing health.

Ghillie Sniper

For players who like long-range combat, Ghillie Sniper offers:

  • HP: 155
  • Primary: SVD
  • Secondary: Desert Eagle

The SVD makes this class stand out from the more close-range focused options.

Hazmat Soldier

Hazmat Soldier has:

  • HP: 145

It’s another premium alternative, although its HP is considerably lower than Juggernaut.

Pyromaniac

Pyromaniac also has 145 HP, but its biggest selling point is its weapon.

Instead of a conventional assault rifle or shotgun, this class uses a flamethrower.

That makes it a more specialized choice for players who want something different.

Best Classes Ranked by HP

If you’re mainly comparing classes by health, the order is straightforward:

Class HP Type
Juggernaut 250 Premium
Spetsnaz 200 Gold
Special Forces 175 Gold
SOS Operator 170 Premium
FBI Specialist 160 Gold
Frogman 160 Premium
Ghillie Sniper 155 Premium
Hazmat 150 Gold
Field Medic 150 Gold
Black Ops 145 Gold
Hazmat Soldier 145 Premium
Pyromaniac 145 Premium
SWAT 140 Gold
Customs Officer 130 Gold
Senior Agent 120 Gold
Patrol Agent 110 Gold
Rookie 110 Starter

Which Class Should You Get?

If you want the strongest free-to-play class, save your Gold for Spetsnaz. Its 200 HP and Groza + CZ75 loadout make it the best long-term target without spending Robux.

If you want the highest HP class in the game, go with Juggernaut. Its 250 HP puts it far ahead of every other class listed here.

For players who aren’t ready to spend 8,000 Gold yet, Special Forces is a great intermediate goal, while FBI Specialist and Field Medic are useful stepping stones.

And if you’re buying premium classes but don’t necessarily care about maximum HP, SOS Operator, Frogman, Ghillie Sniper, and Pyromaniac offer more specialized weapon choices.

In short: Spetsnaz for free-to-play, Juggernaut for maximum HP. Those are the two classes I’d prioritize.
