To unlock the Pumpkin Hat Cosmetic, you need to find and collect all 20 Pumpkins during the Halloween event. These collectibles are located in the Play area, meaning you must enter a game and explore the map instead of searching in the lobby.
The good news is that your Pumpkin collection is saved when you pick up a collectible. If a hunter catches you and you die, you will not lose the Pumpkins you have already collected. This allows you to gather them over multiple runs rather than completing everything in one attempt.
Follow these tips before starting your search: Explore each room carefully, especially corners and shelves. Remember the locations you have already visited to avoid wasting time. Open doors using the available buttons when necessary. Collect nearby Pumpkins before moving to another section of the map. Keep an eye out for hunters while exploring unfamiliar areas.
There are 20 Pumpkins to collect for the Halloween reward. The locations below cover the 17 Pumpkin locations described in the available information. Locations 18, 19, and 20 have not been confirmed yet, so they are marked as unconfirmed rather than assigned guessed positions.
Enter the Play area and look for the room with two huge pipes positioned on opposite sides. Head toward the pipe on the right side of the room and check the corner beside it. You will find the first Pumpkin there.
This is one of the easier collectibles to grab early in your run. Remember the room’s layout so you can return to it quickly if you need to collect any remaining Pumpkins later.
From the entrance of the Play area, follow the main path straight ahead until you reach the outdoor section. Leave the room and check beside the window to find the second Pumpkin.
While you are in this area, look for a giant Pumpkin nearby. Head toward it and check the left corner at the base of a tree to find the third collectible. Collect both before leaving so you do not need to return to the same outdoor section later.
Find the room directly in front of the Scrap Machine. Once you enter, look for the first shelf on your right and climb onto it. The fourth Pumpkin is positioned near the wall.
Check the shelf carefully before moving on. Since this collectible is above floor level, it can be easy to overlook if you only search the corners of the room.
Enter the yellow maze and stay close to the left side as you move away from the entrance. Explore the nearby passages until you find the fifth Pumpkin. Return to the yellow maze entrance and head toward the right side this time. Look for a platform that leads upward, then follow it until you reach an area with two doors facing opposite directions.
Enter the room on your right and inspect its right-hand corner. The sixth Pumpkin is located there. Be careful when moving through this section, as the maze’s layout can make it difficult to remember which room you have already checked.
The seventh Pumpkin is inside the room with a swimming pool. To reach this area, go to the room in front of the Scrap Machine and continue straight before entering the first area on your right. If the door is closed, press the red button to open it. Once inside the maze, follow this route: Take the first left. Turn left again. Turn right to reach the swimming pool room. Check the corner for the Pumpkin. Make sure you search the room before leaving, especially if you are already exploring the maze for other collectibles.
Use the same entrance that leads to the swimming pool area, but take a different route through the maze. Enter the maze and walk straight ahead, then take the first right and the second left.
You should eventually see a half-open gate with traffic cones underneath it. The eighth Pumpkin is located near this gate. Look around the opening carefully before continuing to the next area.
Return to the room in front of the Scrap Machine and head toward the left section. Press the red button to open the door, enter the lift, and press the green button to travel upward.
When the lift doors open, turn left and continue until you reach a room containing a vending machine. Check the area to the right of the vending machine to find the ninth Pumpkin.
Starting from Pumpkin Location 9, return to the lift. Enter the door directly opposite it and continue straight until you reach another room containing two pipes. Check the corner beside the pipe on the right side. The tenth Pumpkin is located there, making this a convenient stop after collecting the item near the vending machine.
From the room containing the two pipes at Location 10, continue straight ahead. You will reach a section with several small rooms along the path.
Look for the second room on your left and enter it. The eleventh Pumpkin is inside. Check the floor and corners before moving forward to the next location.
From Location 11, continue straight until you reach the Scrap Machine. Enter the room directly in front of it, then turn left and follow the hallway to the end.
Enter the room on your right and look at the shelf. The twelfth Pumpkin is placed on top of it. Since this route connects several previously mentioned locations, collecting this item during the same run can save time.
Stay on the upper floor and locate the room containing CCTV equipment and a pile of sand. The thirteenth Pumpkin is sitting on the sand pile. If you are unsure where to go, start from the Scrap Machine on the upper floor and walk in the direction it faces. Continue until you reach the final room with traffic cones, then enter and follow the path leading toward the CCTV room. Once inside, check the pile of sand rather than spending time searching the shelves or corners.
Remain on the upper floor and head toward the dining hall. From the Scrap Machine, walk straight ahead and take a left when you reach the final room.
Enter the dining hall area, continue straight, and then turn left to find a collection of small rooms. Search the floors of these rooms until you find the fourteenth Pumpkin.
