Update 0.5 introduced one of the most exciting weapons to arrive in Legacy Piece so far: Flashy Flash. Inspired by the incredibly fast swordsman from One Punch Man, this weapon focuses on rapid attacks, flashy animations, and excellent damage output. Alongside the new weapon, the update also added Aura and Cosmetic systems, giving players more ways to improve both their appearance and combat performance.
Flashy Flash isn’t something you’ll obtain by simply spending your normal shards. Instead, you’ll need to collect a special currency and farm one of the game’s newest bosses. While that can take some time, the reward is a weapon that many players already consider one of the strongest options currently available.
Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking Flashy Flash, farming its currency efficiently, understanding the new Aura system, and deciding whether it’s worth your time.
How to Get Flashy Flash
Flashy Flash is obtained through a special featured banner located on Legacy Island.
Once you reach the island, head to the Banner Area, where you’ll find the Flashy Flash banner. Unlike regular banners, this one doesn’t use standard shards for summons.
Instead, you’ll need a unique currency called Flashy Tokens.
Without these tokens, you won’t be able to summon for the weapon, making token farming your highest priority.
How to Get Flashy Tokens
There are currently two main ways to collect Flashy Tokens.
Defeat the Flashy Flash Boss
The primary farming method is defeating the Flashy Flash Boss located on A City Island.
Each time you defeat the boss, there’s a chance it will drop Flashy Tokens.
Since the drop isn’t guaranteed, expect to fight the boss multiple times before collecting enough tokens for several banner attempts.
If you have a strong build or a group of players, repeatedly farming the boss is the most reliable long-term method.
Buy Tokens From the Material Merchant
If you already have plenty of shards saved up, you can purchase Flashy Tokens directly.
Visit the Material Merchant NPC on A City Island.
Each Flashy Token costs 700 Shards.
While this is much faster than relying purely on boss drops, it’s also very expensive. Players planning to use this method should make sure they have a large stockpile of shards before spending them.
Best Way to Farm Flashy Tokens
The fastest approach combines both farming methods.
Instead of relying entirely on boss drops or buying every token with shards, alternate between the two.
A good farming loop looks like this:
- Farm the Flashy Flash Boss whenever possible.
- Spend excess shards at the Material Merchant.
- Continue earning shards while waiting for boss respawns.
- Save enough tokens before using them on the banner.
Using both methods together significantly reduces the overall grind.
Best AFK Farming Spot
If your goal is earning as many shards as possible, one location stands above the rest.
Head to Tokyo Ghoul City and accept the final available quest.
Many players use this area as an AFK farming location because it generates currency consistently while requiring very little interaction.
The more shards you collect here, the more Flashy Tokens you’ll eventually be able to purchase.
Buying Boss Tickets
Boss farming becomes much easier once you stock up on tickets.
Visit the Ticket Seller in Legacy Town.
One of the best quality-of-life improvements added in Update 0.5 is the ability to purchase multiple tickets at once instead of buying them individually.
This saves a surprising amount of time during long farming sessions and makes preparing for boss runs much more convenient.
Aura System Explained
Update 0.5 also introduced the new Aura system.
Aura Crates can now drop while farming various activities throughout the game.
Opening these crates rewards random Auras, each providing different stat bonuses.
Besides improving your character’s appearance, Auras also offer combat benefits, making them more than simple cosmetic upgrades.
If you prefer a specific visual effect but another Aura has better stats, the game allows you to equip the appearance separately through the Vanity system.
This lets you keep your favorite look without sacrificing stronger bonuses.
Cosmetic System
Cosmetic Crates work similarly to Aura Crates.
Opening them rewards cosmetic items that change your character’s appearance.
These cosmetics can either be displayed normally or hidden completely if you’d rather keep your original outfit.
Because appearance and stats are handled separately, players have much more freedom to customize their character without hurting performance.
Flashy Flash Showcase
Flashy Flash immediately stands out because of its speed.
Every attack features quick animations that match the weapon’s theme, allowing players to chain together fast strikes while maintaining excellent mobility.
The moves also have surprisingly good range, making it easier to hit enemies compared to many close-range weapons.
Although each individual attack is fast, they still deal impressive damage, allowing Flashy Flash to perform well against both regular enemies and bosses.
Its overall design feels fluid, making combat enjoyable even during long farming sessions.
Enchanting and Ascension
Like other high-end weapons, Flashy Flash becomes even stronger through Enchantments and Ascension.
Before testing the weapon against bosses, upgrading its passive abilities and increasing Mastery noticeably improves its overall performance.
Players planning to use Flashy Flash as their primary weapon should invest in these upgrades as soon as possible, since much of its true potential comes after additional progression.
Performance Against Bosses
Flashy Flash performs exceptionally well during boss fights.
Its combination of rapid attacks, consistent damage, and strong range allows players to stay aggressive without constantly needing to reposition.
The weapon also clears regular enemies efficiently, making it useful for both progression and farming.
Whether you’re challenging world bosses or simply completing quests, Flashy Flash remains effective across nearly every type of content.
