If you are playing Roblox Kaizen, there is a pretty interesting update to check out. The latest update brings a rework and buff to Sukuna’s King of Curses, along with a new quest progression system, quest encounters, mission boards, and several new mission types.

In this post, I will walk you through the new progression system first and then show you what changed with Sukuna’s King of Curses. I will keep everything as close as possible to how the update works in-game, so you can get a good idea of what to expect before jumping in.

Kaizen Sukuna Update Guide – King of Curses Rework, Codes

One of the biggest additions in this update is the new quest encounter system.

While exploring the map, you can now come across random NPCs who have quests for you. These NPCs appear around different areas, and when you interact with one, they can give you a specific objective to complete.

For example, I came across an NPC who asked me to deal with some curses that were running wild nearby. After accepting the quest, the enemies spawned in the area, giving me a clear objective to complete.

This makes the world feel a little more active because you are not simply traveling from one place to another. You can now run into an NPC, accept their quest, and immediately have something to work toward.

Be Careful When Taking Quests

There is one important thing you should know before accepting these quests: if you die, the quest ends.

I learned this the hard way while testing the new system. I accepted a quest and ended up getting taken out because I was not paying enough attention.

So, if you get a difficult quest encounter, do not rush into the fight just because the objective looks simple. Make sure you are prepared before starting it.

The quests also appear to have different grades and difficulties, and some of them may scale depending on your level. The game tells you what you are getting into, so I recommend checking the quest details before accepting it.

Quest Rewards and XP

Completing a quest gives you rewards, including XP.

For example, one of the quests I completed rewarded me with 10 million XP. Your reward may be different depending on the quest, its grade, and its difficulty.

This is one of the reasons I think the new quest encounters could become a useful way to progress your character. Instead of simply grinding the same enemies over and over, you can look for quest encounters and work through their objectives while earning rewards.

New Mission Types

The update also adds several different mission types. Each mission has its own objective, so you will not always be doing the exact same thing.

The new missions shown in the update include:

  • Interception
  • Cursed Nest
  • Protect Mission
  • Domain Breach

I tried several of these missions, and they work a little differently from one another.

Interception Mission

The Interception mission is focused on eliminating a specific target.

In the example I tested, the objective was to take down an Elder Flame Curse. Once you eliminate the target, you receive the rewards associated with the mission.

The main thing to remember here is that the target can hit pretty hard, so do not assume that you can simply stand in front of it and tank everything.

I got caught off guard during my attempt, so I would definitely recommend staying mobile and watching the enemy’s attacks.

Cursed Nest Mission

The Cursed Nest mission works more like an objective-based mission.

Instead of simply looking for one enemy to defeat, you need to complete specific objectives to finish the mission.

In the example shown in the update, the objective was to destroy a group of eggs.

Once I found the eggs, I simply went around destroying them one by one until the objective was completed. Compared with some of the other missions, this one was pretty straightforward.

If you get a Cursed Nest mission with a similar objective, you should be able to complete it fairly quickly as long as the area is safe.

Protect Mission

Protect Mission is another new mission type added with the update.

As the name suggests, the main idea is to protect a specific target or objective while dealing with the enemies that appear around you.

These missions can require a little more awareness than something like Cursed Nest because you cannot simply focus on attacking enemies. You also need to make sure the thing you are protecting survives.

Domain Breach

Domain Breach is another mission type included in the new system.

The exact objectives can vary, but the idea is to deal with the threats inside the domain and complete the mission requirements.

So, when you see one of these missions, make sure you read the objective first rather than immediately running into the fight.

New Mission Boards

Along with the quest encounters, the update also introduces new mission boards.

These give you another way to find and take on missions instead of relying entirely on random NPC encounters.

The combination of quest encounters and mission boards should make the new progression system much more useful for players who want something else to do while leveling.

Sukuna’s King of Curses Rework

Now let’s get into the other major part of the update: Sukuna’s King of Curses has been reworked and buffed.

This is a rework rather than a completely separate V2 version, so you should not think of it as an entirely new ability set.

The biggest thing you will notice immediately is the updated visual effects. Several of Sukuna’s moves now have different VFX, making the abilities look much better during combat.

I went through the moves one by one to see what they look like after the rework.

Dismantle

The first move I tested was Dismantle.

The VFX has been changed, and the move has also received a buff as part of the rework.

The attack feels much cleaner visually now, and you can immediately tell that the developers have changed how the ability looks compared with the previous version.

If you already use King of Curses, this is one of the first moves you will probably notice after the update.

Cleave Grab

Next up is Cleave Grab.

I tried using it against an NPC to get a better look at the move.

The attack grabs the target and hits them before finishing the ability. The animation is fairly straightforward, so once you see it in action, the move is pretty easy to understand.

For me, the main difference worth noticing is the updated presentation rather than the basic concept of the move.

Spider Web

The next move is Spider Web.

This one received a noticeable visual change as well.

When you activate the ability, the attack goes upward before exploding and dealing AoE damage.

The VFX makes the attack look much more impactful than before, especially when you catch multiple enemies in the area.

If you are fighting groups of enemies, this is one of the moves I would pay attention to because the AoE damage can make it useful for clearing multiple targets.

Divine Flame

We also have Divine Flame, which has received updated visuals.

I tested it a few times, and the new effect looks considerably different from the previous version.

The attack has a much more noticeable visual impact when it connects, and it fits the updated King of Curses kit pretty well.

The cooldown means you obviously cannot spam it constantly, but when it is available, it is one of the more impressive-looking moves in the reworked kit.

Malevolent Shrine

Finally, we have Sukuna’s Domain, Malevolent Shrine.

The domain now has updated visuals and a new animation when activated.

One of the things I noticed while testing it was the change in the effects during the domain. There are more noticeable red effects surrounding the ability, which gives Malevolent Shrine a different appearance from the previous version.

I personally like the updated look. It still feels like Malevolent Shrine, but the new effects make the domain feel more polished.
