Jujutsu Zero has received the Awakened Projection update, adding a new technique, raids, accessories, a clan, progression changes, and new redeemable codes.
The update also expands the endgame with new farming materials and raid rewards. If you are working toward Awakened Projection or simply want to keep up with the latest content, there is quite a bit to unlock.
Here is a breakdown of the major additions in the update.
Jujutsu Zero Awakened Projection Update Guide – New Codes
The main feature of the update is the new Awakened Projection technique.
Its initial kit contains four skills:
- Frame Chain
- Split Frame
- Perpetual Motion
- Mock Break
The technique also provides movement-related buffs while focused, while its Super Dash creates afterimages.
The current update only introduces the base version of the kit. A larger version is planned to include an enhanced skill set, an ultimate skill, an improved passive, and a Domain.
Frame Freeze and Frame Snap
Awakened Projection’s first upgrade tree introduces a new mechanic called Frame Freeze.
After filling the Frame Freeze bar, nearby enemies are frozen inside a frame for 10 seconds.
While an enemy is frozen, attacks continue accumulating damage. If you land 10 hits before the freeze ends, you trigger Frame Snap.
Frame Snap deals an additional hit based on the accumulated damage and includes a 75% bonus.
This means the best way to use the mechanic is to keep attacking a frozen enemy and reach the 10-hit requirement before the timer expires.
Awakened Projection Upgrade Materials
Upgrading Awakened Projection requires two main materials:
- Projection Awakening Shards
- Steel Frames
Both materials can be obtained from the new raid content introduced with the update.
This makes the new raid an important part of progressing the technique.
New Awakened Projection Skins
Two new skins have been added for Awakened Projection.
Boosted Skin
The Boosted skin is available through the Skin NPC shop.
Its bonuses include:
- 10% Damage
- 10% Attack
Elite Skin
The Elite skin provides stronger bonuses:
- 35% Awakened Projection Damage
- 150% Critical Damage
Its token can be obtained from Crate Reigns and then exchanged at the Token Exchanger.
Zenin Elite Clan
A new clan called Zenin Elite has been added alongside Awakened Projection.
The clan has synergy with the new technique and provides buffs to skills associated with Projection.
You can obtain Zenin Elite as a rare reward from the Zenin Elite Raid, or through the relevant shop bundle.
Zenin Elite Raid
The new Zenin Elite Raid is the main raid associated with the update.
It features three difficulty tiers, with level requirements ranging from 7,000 to 11,000.
The boss uses Awakened Projection abilities, allowing players to see the new technique during the fight.
Each completed run rewards between three and seven Inheritance Crates, depending on the difficulty.
The raid can also provide:
- Lumens
- Yen
- Up to 2.85 million player experience per clear
- Projection Awakening Shards
- Steel Frames
- Zenin Elite clan drops
- Motion Cog
Motion Cog and Frame Counter
One of the new materials available from the raid is Motion Cog.
Motion Cog is used to craft Frame Counter, a new Special Grade accessory designed to boost Awakened Projection.
This makes the Zenin Elite Raid particularly important for players who want to build their character around the new technique.
New Killing Intent Accessory
Players using PHR weapons also have a new Special Grade accessory to work toward.
The accessory is called Killing Intent and provides bonuses for Hanoyagi and other PHR weapons.
Its crafting recipe requires Broken Blade, which can be obtained from the Tsuguri Raid.
This gives weapon-focused players another upgrade path alongside their existing equipment.
New Faction Raid
A new Faction Raid has also been introduced.
The raid features 25 trillion HP and can reward up to 150 million experience.
Completing the raid also provides 15% Critical Damage, with this reward capped at five completions.
The Faction Raid is also connected to a new fastest-clear leaderboard, allowing factions to compete based on their completion times.
There is a possibility that this raid could become connected to higher faction levels in a future update, although that has not been confirmed as a requirement.
Crate Reigns Changes
Crate Reigns has received an expanded reward pool.
The changes add more progression materials and additional rare items to the available rewards.
The Elite Awakened Projection skin token is one of the rewards players can obtain, making Crate Reigns another source for progression toward the new skin.
New Progression Menu
A new progression menu has been added to make it easier to keep track of your progress.
The menu organizes quest categories and other progression objectives in one place, allowing you to quickly see what you still need to complete.
More improvements to this menu are planned for future updates.
Equip Best Improvements
The Equip Best feature has also been updated to support more gear combinations.
However, it is not completely accurate yet.
Players using equipment with random bonuses should still check their stats and set bonuses manually after using Equip Best to make sure they have the setup they actually want.
Other Quality-of-Life Changes
Several smaller improvements have also been included.
Currency displays on the HUD are now interactive, and players can change their faction icon.
Damage indicators have been reduced in size, making them less intrusive during combat.
The Suguri Raid image has also been fixed.
New Jujutsu Zero Codes
Two new codes have been added with the update.
Projection
Redeeming Projection gives:
- 1,000 Cursed Crystals
- 5,000 Lumens
- 50 Clan Rolls
2KLE
The second code is 2KLE, which provides:
- 500 Cursed Crystals
- 5,000 Lumens
- 50 Clan Rolls
Redeeming both codes gives you a total of:
- 1,500 Cursed Crystals
- 10,000 Lumens
- 100 Clan Rolls
