Unlocking The Almighty in Type Soul is one of the longest and most confusing grinds currently in the game. A lot of players hear people talking about “The Almighty questline” and assume it is just another simple progression unlock, but once you actually begin the process, you quickly realize how massive the grind really is.

The questline forces you to use multiple abilities, complete very specific challenges, and reroll through many different elements and gifts. Some parts are easy, while others depend heavily on RNG or PvP situations. Because of that, many players get stuck halfway through simply because they do not understand what the game is asking them to do.

This guide breaks the entire process down in easy English so newer players can actually follow it without feeling completely lost.

Requirements

Before you even think about starting the grind, there are a few important requirements you need to complete first.

Reach Elite Grade

First of all, your character needs to be Elite Grade, which is currently the maximum level progression in Type Soul.

Without Elite Grade, you will not be able to properly start the Almighty progression.

Prepare a Huge Amount of Element Rerolls

This is the part many players underestimate.

You are going to need a massive amount of Element Rerolls because the questline requires multiple different gifts and elements throughout progression. Depending on your luck, you may need anywhere between:

  • 250 rerolls
  • 500 rerolls
  • Sometimes even 700+ rerolls

Unfortunately, some of the required elements are Mythical rarity, which means RNG can become brutal.

If you are planning to seriously grind for The Almighty, it is smart to stockpile rerolls before starting.

“True Gift” System

The first major step involves talking to the Jugram NPC and obtaining your “True Gift.”

Here is where things become a little unusual.

The first vault or gift you need depends entirely on the first letter or number in your Roblox username.

Example

If your username starts with:

  • S → You need Superstar
  • B → You begin with Butterfly or Balance depending on progression
  • 9 → You need Miracle

The game basically assigns your starting vault based on your username’s first character.

This system confuses a lot of people at first, but once you understand it, the progression becomes easier to follow.

Important Thing to Know About New Elements

Not every newly released element is required for the Almighty questline.

For example, Love, which is one of the newer additions to Type Soul, currently does not count toward the progression.

That means you do not need to waste rerolls trying to obtain every brand-new release unless the developers specifically update the requirements later.

Vault Quest Requirements

After completing your starting vault, the real grind begins. You will need to reroll repeatedly and complete specific objectives tied to each gift.

Some quests are simple, while others are extremely annoying.

Below are the major requirements explained in a more understandable way.

Balance Quest

Balance is Mythical rarity, so getting it alone may take a while.

For this objective, you need to:

  • Hit around 11 to 15 players or NPC enemies at once
  • Use the Base T and Base G damage variant
  • Use maximum Order

The quest checks for large burst damage dealt simultaneously.

A good strategy is grouping Soul Reapers or Karakura enemies together before activating the move.

Butterfly Quest

This one is much easier.

You simply need to:

  • Use the G move on players 10 total times

PvP with friends or clan members makes this much faster.

Compulsory Quest

For Compulsory:

  • Use the G invade move on players 15 times total

This can usually be completed naturally through PvP sessions.

Deathdealing Quest

Another Mythical rarity gift.

For this step:

  • Inflict maximum poison on a player

Compared to other Almighty tasks, this one is surprisingly easy once you get the correct setup.

Explode Quest

This challenge requires:

  • Hitting 10 to 15 enemies at once using the C ultimate

If it does not register immediately, keep repeating the process on large enemy groups until completion appears.

Sometimes the quest tracking can feel inconsistent.

Fear / Insanity Quest

This step frustrates a lot of players.

You need to:

  • Apply maximum fear or insanity effects on players

The game may complete this early or later than expected, so most players simply continue repeating it until the quest finally updates.

Glutton Quest

For Glutton:

  • Enter mode
  • Grip around 10 to 25 players while transformed

Bonney Res grips are reportedly the easiest way to progress this section quickly.

Heat Quest

The Heat requirement involves:

  • Making players kneel using the T move
  • Doing this around 10 times

This must be performed in base stance for proper tracking.

Iron Quest

This one is simple but annoying.

You must:

  • Take a certain amount of posture damage
  • Die a specific number of times

Yes, the game literally wants you to suffer repeatedly for progression.

Miracle Quest

For Miracle:

  • Revive multiple times while in vault mode

A lot of players complete this inside clan rooms because it is much safer and easier to organize there.

Nimble Quest

This challenge focuses entirely on movement speed.

You need to:

  • Maintain 30+ speed while moving around the map

Many players recommend:

  • Wand mobility
  • Bridge loops
  • Counter T setups
  • Vault C movement combinations

This is mostly about keeping momentum active consistently.

Overkill Quest

For Overkill:

  • Reach maximum Overkill stats
  • Guard break players using Power Punch around 10 times

This is another PvP-heavy objective.

Royal Quest

This one requires:

  • Executing players using the execution move while in vault

Lower the enemy first, move close, then activate the execution animation.

Superstar Quest

For Superstar:

  • Get cheered by James 10 times
  • Use Base T or G moves

This step is easier in organized groups.

Thunderbolt Quest

The Thunderbolt requirement is simple:

  • Use T and G attacks on players

Compared to other vaults, this one is fairly straightforward.

Visionary Quest

This step involves:

  • Using clone moves on around 15 enemies simultaneously

Large NPC groups make this significantly easier than real PvP fights.

Vacuum and Water Prison Objectives

Some later quests require crowd control abilities such as:

  • Vacuuming 15+ enemies together
  • Using Water Prison on massive enemy groups

These are mostly about gathering enough targets in one location.

Wind Quest

For Wind:

  • Land the Split move multiple times on players

This is one of the easier PvP tasks once you get comfortable landing abilities consistently.

X-Axis Quest

This is one of the worst RNG sections.

You need to:

  • Hit players with Crit + D
  • Trigger the rare autogrip effect

Because it relies on RNG activation, completion can take far longer than expected.

The Hidden Zombie Questline

Currently, the final “Z” section of the Almighty progression is still partially hidden or being figured out by the community.

A lot of information is still being discovered, and players continue experimenting to uncover the exact requirements.

The good news is that older players who already started the Almighty grind before updates still keep their previous progress.

Also, older True Mode requirements have now been removed, which makes the modern version of the questline slightly less painful than before.

The Almighty questline in Type Soul is easily one of the biggest grinds currently available. Between the rerolls, PvP challenges, RNG requirements, and hidden progression steps, it can honestly feel overwhelming for newer players.

Still, once you break the process down step-by-step, the grind becomes much more manageable. The biggest advice is to stay patient, stockpile rerolls early, and complete objectives with friends whenever possible.

A lot of these quests become dramatically easier when you have clan members or organized groups helping you farm progress instead of trying to do everything solo.
