If you’ve been using the Electricity Fruit in Haze Seas, the latest update finally gives it an awakening. The new Raijin Form transforms the fruit into one of the strongest abilities currently available, adding powerful new skills, a flying ability, and significantly stronger attacks.
The process isn’t difficult, but it does involve a fair amount of farming. If you know where to go and what to collect, you can unlock the awakening much faster than wandering around the new island.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Requirements Before You Start
Before attempting to unlock Raijin Form, make sure you have:
- The Electricity Fruit
- Access to the Rainbow Sky Island
- Enough combat power to defeat groups of enemies and a boss
Without the Electricity Fruit, you won’t be able to complete the awakening process.
Step 1: Travel to Rainbow Sky Island
The entire awakening quest takes place on Rainbow Sky Island, which was introduced in the newest update.
This island is the only place where you can obtain the materials required to awaken the Electricity Fruit, so your first goal is simply getting there.
Once you arrive, you’ll notice plenty of NPC enemies spread across the island. These are the enemies you’ll be farming for the next step.
Step 2: Farm Divine Sparks
The key material you’ll need is called the Divine Spark.
Every NPC on Rainbow Sky Island has a chance to drop one, although the drop rate is quite low at around 0.5%. Because of this, expect to spend some time defeating enemies before you collect enough.
Fastest Farming Method
The quickest strategy is to gather multiple enemies together instead of fighting them one at a time.
A good farming rotation looks like this:
- Pull nearby enemies into one group.
- Use wide-area attacks to damage all of them at once.
- Defeat the entire group.
- Wait for them to respawn.
- Repeat the process.
Farming large groups is much faster than chasing individual enemies around the island.
Step 3: Collect Four Divine Sparks
You’ll need a total of 4 Divine Sparks.
Once you’ve collected all four, head to the highest part of Rainbow Sky Island.
At the summit you’ll find four stone pillars.
Interact with each pillar and place one Divine Spark into it.
After all four pillars have been activated, something much stronger appears.
Step 4: Defeat the Raijin Boss
Activating all four pillars summons the Raijin Boss.
Fortunately, this boss isn’t overly difficult if you’re already strong enough to farm Rainbow Sky Island.
Using Observation Haki can make dodging its attacks much easier while giving you more opportunities to deal damage safely.
Once the boss is defeated, it drops the item you actually need.
Boss Reward
You’ll receive:
- Raijin Core
This item is required to awaken the Electricity Fruit.
Step 5: Return to the Land of the Gods
After obtaining the Raijin Core, travel back to the Land of the Gods.
Locate the Poneglyph, which is the same structure used for previous awakenings.
Interact with it, accept the awakening, and use your Raijin Core.
Once the process finishes, your Electricity Fruit transforms into the new Raijin Form.
Unlocking Every Raijin Skill
Here’s something many players don’t realize at first.
Obtaining the Raijin Form only unlocks the transformation itself.
If you want every awakened move, you’ll need to continue farming the Raijin Boss for additional Raijin Cores.
Each extra core helps unlock more abilities, so don’t expect to have the complete moveset immediately after your first awakening.
All Raijin Form Skills
Once you’ve unlocked the full awakening, you’ll gain access to several upgraded abilities.
Thunder Reflux (Z)
A crowd-control attack that pulls nearby enemies toward you before dealing heavy lightning damage.
It’s especially useful for farming groups of NPCs quickly.
Chain Lightning (X)
Automatically strikes nearby enemies with lightning.
This skill excels against multiple opponents since the electricity jumps between targets.
Guiding Thunder (C)
Calls down powerful lightning from above.
This attack resembles one of the abilities used by the Raijin Boss during the awakening battle and deals impressive area damage.
Terror Beam (V)
Launches a controllable lightning beam that can be aimed while attacking.
Compared to the original Electricity Fruit version, this upgraded attack is much stronger and offers better control during combat.
Dual Lightning Emperor
One of the strongest abilities in the awakened moveset.
It unleashes an enormous burst of lightning capable of dealing massive damage to enemies caught in its attack.
Thunder Flight (F)
Perhaps the biggest addition is Thunder Flight.
Instead of simply moving around the ground, Raijin Form allows you to fly freely across the map.
Even better, you can continue using your awakened abilities while flying, making it much easier to fight bosses or clear enemies without staying on the ground.
Best Farming Tips
Since Divine Sparks have a very low drop rate, a few small optimizations can save a lot of time.
- Farm large groups of NPCs instead of individual enemies.
- Use abilities with wide attack ranges to clear mobs quickly.
- Stay in one efficient farming area instead of running around the island.
- Defeat the Raijin Boss repeatedly after awakening if you’re trying to unlock every skill.
- Bring friends if you’re struggling with the boss or want faster farming sessions.
The awakened Electricity Fruit feels like a major upgrade rather than just a visual transformation. The improved damage, stronger crowd control, and ability to fly while attacking make it far more versatile for both grinding and boss fights.
The grind for Divine Sparks can take a while because of the low drop rate, but once you unlock the full moveset, the effort feels worthwhile. If you’re already using the Electricity Fruit, Raijin Form should be one of your top priorities in the current Haze Seas update.
