Quick Overview
  • Begin your adventure by locating Hammi at the Shark Sanctuary found in Fisch and rescue the Hammerhead Shark during its Hunt event to kickstart the quest.
  • In order to unlock the coveted Hammyshork Rod and snag 10 Shark Tokens, you’ll need to catch and bring back all 13 required sharks to Hammi.
  • The Hammyshork Rod is packed with impressive stats: it boasts a 170% Luck, 70% Lure Speed, 0.15 Control, 15% Resilience, and unlimited weight capacity, plus there are two extra modes waiting to be unlocked!

In the Venue Encore Part 2 update, the Hammyshork Rod became available in Fisch. However, its location is a bit obscure, making it essential to know where to find Hammi and how to initiate the quest. Fear not; this guide clarifies where to locate the Hammi NPC and the steps to acquire the Hammyshork Rod in Fisch.

Where to Find Hammi in Fisch and Start Hammyshork Rod Quest?

You can utilize the Fisch GPS to make your journey easier by inputting these coordinates (XYZ): 1284.2, -9.3, -1676.2. Once inside, proceed straight and navigate through the obstacle course. However, at this stage, you won’t be able to interact with Hammi to kick off the quest.

To activate the quest, you need to either wait for or spawn a Hammerhead Shark event. Rather than catch it, dive into the water and interact with the Hammerhead Shark to rescue it. Completing this task will allow you to meet Hammi.

  • Great Hammerhead Shark: Found within a Great Hammerhead Shark Hunt event pool that appears randomly in the ocean. To increase your chances of catching it, use Fish Head bait during a windy Spring day inside the event boundary.
  • Great White Shark: Exclusive to a Great White Shark Hunt event pool in the ocean. For a quicker catch, cast your line during clear weather in Autumn using Fish Head bait.
  • Whale Shark: Located in a Whale Shark Hunt event pool out in the ocean. Improve your chances by fishing on clear Summer or Autumn days with Shrimp bait.
  • Megamouth Shark: This shark resides in a Megamouth Shark Hunt event pool in the ocean. To consistently catch it, fish at night during Summer using Krill bait regardless of the weather.
  • Cookiecutter Shark: Can be caught anywhere in the ocean. For better odds, fish at night in Spring or Summer with Bagel bait, in either clear or foggy weather.
  • Gemstone Whale Shark: Found around Treasure Island in the Second Sea. There are no specific time, weather, or season demands—just equip Sapphire Krill bait and a high-luck rod.
  • Ginsu Shark: Located in the waters around Ancient Isle. For better success, fish at night in the summer using Fish Head bait under any weather conditions.
  • Great Goldcursed Shark: This Secret-rarity fish is found at Castaway Cliffs in the Second Sea. Fish at night during Autumn in foggy weather using Fish Head bait along with a high-luck setup or Aurora Totem.
  • Icebeard Shark: Found inside the Glacial Grotto atop the Northern Expedition mountain. To catch it effectively, fish at night during Winter using Truffle Worm bait in any weather.
  • Maelstorm Shark: Caught in the swirling whirlpool vortices at the Atlantean Storm. For the best results, fish during Autumn in foggy weather at any time using Truffle Worm bait.
  • Mutated Shark: This shark can be found in the depths of The Depths. To catch it quickly, fish at night in Winter with Fish Head bait regardless of the weather.
  • Nurse Shark: An Unusual-rarity fish that can be caught in any standard ocean locations. Fishing at night during Summer or Autumn with Minnow bait will yield better results.
  • Umbral Shark: Positioned underground inside the Keepers Altar below the Statue of Sovereignty. For optimal chances of catching it, fish at night during Winter in clear weather with Fish Head bait.

How to Unlock Hammyshork Rod in Fisch

Unlocking Different Hammyshork Rod Modes

Once you have the Hammyshork Rod, you can access its various modes. Here’s how to unlock them:

  • Great Hammerhead Shark: To spot the Great Hammerhead Shark, look for it in a randomly spawning Great Hammerhead Shark Hunt event pool in the Ocean. For the best chances of a catch, make sure you’re using Fish Head bait on a breezy Spring day within the event boundaries.
  • Great White Shark: This iconic fish will only show up in a designated Great White Shark Hunt event pool in the Ocean. For a swift catch, cast your line into the pool with Fish Head bait during bright Autumn weather.
  • Whale Shark: If you want to reel in a Whale Shark, head over to a Whale Shark Hunt event pool in the Ocean. For optimum success, fish in the pool on a clear Summer or Autumn day while using Shrimp bait.
  • Megamouth Shark: The Megamouth Shark waits for you in its own exclusive Megamouth Shark Hunt event pool in the Ocean. For reliable catches, fish at night in summertime using Krill bait regardless of the weather.
