What does Pumpkin Ghoul do in Grow a Garden?
Pumpkin Ghoul features a passive ability termed Ghoul Gash. This ability activates every 20 minutes, targeting four random fruits within your garden. These fruits are given a 10% chance of either receiving the Rot or Bloom mutation.
Bloom facilitates quicker growth of a random plant by two hours, propelling you closer to a harvest. Conversely, Rot increases the age of a random Halloween-type pet by one year.
The Ghoul Gash passive can significantly benefit plant growth and enhance the development of Halloween pets, though its effectiveness relies on the fruits selected for mutations.
Is Pumpkin Ghoul worth getting in Grow a Garden?
Pumpkin Ghoul is a valuable addition if you are seeking a Divine pet that bolsters gardening and Halloween pet progression alike. Its Ghoul Gash ability aids plant growth via Bloom and promotes the age growth of Halloween-type pets through Rot.
However, the main concern is its 1% obtainment chance. It might take numerous attempts at Trick-or-Treating to acquire the pet, with the escalating costs making each try increasingly more expensive until the reset occurs.
If collecting Divine pets or utilizing its dual mutation effects interests you, acquiring Pumpkin Ghoul becomes a worthwhile objective during the Halloween Event 2026.
