The latest Dungeon Lootr update has arrived, bringing plenty of new content for players to check out. In this post, I’m going to tell you about the new City of Mages dungeon, the Magic Unleashed event, the new Frost Wand and Moria Blade, and the crazy admin event that happened alongside the update.

I jumped into the update to see how everything works, and there is honestly quite a lot to explore. The level cap has been pushed much higher, there are new event rewards to farm, and both of the new weapons have completely different fighting styles.

If you are wondering which weapon looks stronger or what you can expect from the new dungeon content, I’ll go through everything I found while playing. Let’s get into the new Dungeon Lootr update.

Dungeon Lootr Update 1 Guide – Codes, Magic Unleashed

One of the biggest additions in this update is the new story called City of Mages.

The level requirements in Dungeon Lootr have also increased significantly. The new content goes all the way up to around Level 175, which is a huge jump compared to when Level 100 was previously around the maximum progression point.

This means players who have already reached the older endgame now have more levels and content to work toward.

The City of Mages content is one of the main reasons this update feels much bigger than simply adding a couple of new weapons.

The Magic Unleashed Event

The update also introduced a new event called Magic Unleashed.

When I checked the event area, the objective involved clearing the available challenges and earning Mage Coins. These coins can be used through the event shop, where you can find several new rewards.

The shop includes the new weapons featured in this update, along with other rewards such as auras and additional items.

If you are planning to farm the event, this looks like one of the main progression activities added with the update.

The Crazy Admin Event

Alongside the actual update content, there was also a massive admin event happening in the server.

There is now an admin event area that looks similar to a coliseum, and this appears to be where some of these special events take place.

During the event I watched, admins spawned huge numbers of enemies and bosses. At one point, there were so many effects and enemies on screen that the game was struggling to keep up.

Players were fighting bosses, including what appeared to be a powerful world boss, while smaller enemies continued spawning around the area.

Mystery Boxes and Hidden Chests

One of the main rewards from the admin event was Mystery Boxes.

These boxes can contain different types of drops, including possible accessories and other rewards. My luck wasn’t particularly great with the boxes I opened, but they are clearly one of the rewards players can collect during these events.

Admins also spawned and hid chests around the map.

Players could search for these chests and collect even more Mystery Boxes. Some chests were placed in difficult locations, and a few were so high up that reaching them looked nearly impossible.

There were also random effects such as low gravity, which made the entire event even more chaotic.

The admin event continued for quite a while, with more bosses, raids, enemies, and chests being spawned throughout the server.

If you miss one of these events, it looks like future admin events could potentially include similar rewards, with bosses and chests being the main things to look out for.

How the New Frost Wand Works

One of the biggest additions from the Magic Unleashed event is the new Frost Wand.

I tested the wand inside the event raid, although I was only around Level 85 while the maximum level had been increased to around Level 175. Because of that, the damage numbers I was getting obviously weren’t showing the weapon at its full potential.

The new dungeon also has multiple phases, including different boss phases, so I would personally recommend running it with a group rather than trying to clear everything alone.

Frost Wand M1 Attacks

The first thing I noticed about the Frost Wand was that its M1 attacks are ranged.

This immediately gives the weapon a different feel compared to melee weapons. You can attack enemies from a safer distance while continuing to deal damage.

For my level, the damage felt pretty solid, especially considering I was significantly below the new maximum level.

Frost Wand First Ability

The first ability is a combo-style AoE attack.

It allows you to hit enemies around the targeted area and looks useful when you are dealing with groups of mobs.

Frost Wand Second Ability

The second ability is another damaging attack that appears to hit through multiple ticks.

This gives the wand another option for dealing consistent damage during fights.

Frozen Sigils

The third ability is called Frozen Sigils.

From what I saw while testing the weapon, this looked like one of the Frost Wand’s more important damage abilities.

If you are using the wand seriously, this is likely going to be one of the abilities you want to pay attention to during your combos.

Glacier Crash

The fourth ability is called Glacier Crash.

This attack slams down and can deal significant damage. During my testing, I was seeing damage numbers around 20K.

For a player who was still far below the new maximum level, that was a pretty good result.

Frost Wand Ultimate Ability

The Frost Wand’s ultimate was probably the most interesting part of the weapon for me.

When activated, it summons multiple clones.

These clones stay around you and can attack enemies when they are nearby. Seeing several clones appear and start attacking made the ultimate feel much more unique than a simple large AoE attack.

The Frost Wand seems like a good option for players who enjoy ranged combat and magical attacks.

How to Get and Use the Moria Blade

The second major weapon added in the update is the Moria Blade.

Unlike the Frost Wand, this is a melee weapon and uses Strength as one of its important stats.

Before testing it properly, I had to increase my Strength so I could use the weapon effectively.

The Moria Blade is a greatsword, and visually, I really liked how it looked.

Moria Blade M1 Attacks

The M1 attacks on the Moria Blade felt surprisingly good.

They are reasonably fast for a greatsword, although you obviously shouldn’t expect the same attack speed as a lighter weapon.

The attacks still felt smooth and were good enough for regular combat and clearing enemies.

Piercing Rush

The first ability is called Piercing Rush.

This move sends your character lunging forward toward enemies.

It is a straightforward mobility and attack option that can help you quickly move into combat.

Tempest Splitter

The second ability is Tempest Splitter.

This attack creates a line-style AoE, making it useful when enemies are positioned in front of you.

I could see this being particularly useful while clearing groups of mobs.

The Third Ability and Counter

The third ability performs a barrage of attacks.

While testing the weapon further, it also appeared that this ability may function as a counter, which makes it even more interesting.

The Moria Blade has several attacks involving repeated slashes, and this is important because multiple hits can give you plenty of opportunities to benefit from critical hits.

Moria Blade Fourth Ability

The fourth ability continues the weapon’s aggressive style with another series of powerful slashes.

After testing the moves, I personally felt that the third and fourth abilities were some of the Moria Blade’s strongest options.

They looked particularly good against bosses, but they can also work well while clearing groups of enemies.

The second ability felt more useful for straightforward mob clearing, while the later abilities seemed better suited for dealing serious damage.

Moria Blade Ultimate

The Moria Blade ultimate is where things get really interesting.

When you activate it, your character enters a special mode.

While this mode is active, your damage increases significantly, making the weapon feel much stronger.

What really stood out to me was how quickly the ultimate could potentially come back while clearing enemies.

It looked possible to build your ultimate again and continue cycling the mode during dungeon clears.

If this works consistently with a strong build, that could make the Moria Blade extremely powerful for continuous dungeon farming.

The mode also lasts for a decent amount of time, which gives you plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the increased damage.

Is the Moria Blade Better Than the Frost Wand?

Based on my experience testing both weapons, the Moria Blade looked incredibly strong.

The Frost Wand has the advantage of ranged attacks, powerful magical abilities, AoE damage, and the clone-based ultimate.

However, the Moria Blade has multiple attacks that hit repeatedly, giving it plenty of potential for critical hits. Its ultimate mode also looked like a major advantage, especially because of how quickly it seemed possible to recharge during dungeon clears.

I was getting clear times that felt similar to what I normally experienced with other strong weapons such as Sinister.

That doesn’t automatically mean the Moria Blade is definitively better, since builds, critical stats, dungeon events, and player levels can all affect performance.

Still, from what I tested, the Moria Blade definitely feels like it has the potential to become one of the stronger weapons in the game.

Overall, I really liked this update.

The new City of Mages content gives players more progression to work through, especially with the increased level cap. The Magic Unleashed event adds another activity to farm, while the new Frost Wand and Moria Blade give players two completely different combat styles to choose from.

The Frost Wand is a fun ranged weapon with strong magical attacks and a unique clone ultimate. Meanwhile, the Moria Blade feels aggressive and powerful, with repeated slash attacks, strong boss damage potential, and an ultimate mode that could be extremely useful during dungeon clears.

On top of all that, the massive admin event added plenty of chaos with bosses, hidden chests, Mystery Boxes, and random server effects.

For me, the Moria Blade was the standout weapon from this update, although the Frost Wand is still a great choice if you prefer fighting from range.

There is a lot to grind in this update, especially with the higher level progression and the new dungeon content, so I would definitely recommend jumping in and checking out the Magic Unleashed event while working toward the new weapons.
