With so many different weapons available in Devil Hunter, it’s easy to waste time farming for something that isn’t actually worth using. Some weapons come from raids, others require crafting, while several can be purchased from the Black Market. Since many of them take hours to obtain, knowing which ones are worth your effort can save you a lot of grinding.
After comparing the current weapon roster and looking at overall community opinions, here’s a complete Devil Hunter Weapon Tier List, along with recommendations for which weapons you should prioritize.
Note: Tier lists are always somewhat subjective. Different players prefer different playstyles, but these rankings reflect the overall performance, versatility, and community consensus for the current version of the game.
S Tier Weapons
These are the strongest weapons currently available. If you’re planning to invest materials, raid drops, or crafting resources, these should be your highest priority.
Kasaka’s Fangs
Kasaka’s Fangs are widely considered one of the strongest Light Weapons in the game.
Why it’s S Tier:
- Extremely high damage output
- Fast attack speed
- Excellent combo potential
- Strong in both PvE and PvP
The only downside is that crafting it takes quite a bit of work, but once you have it, the investment is well worth it.
Rock Blade
The Rock Blade is one of the best Medium Weapons available.
It drops from the Zombie Raid with roughly a 10% drop chance, making it difficult to obtain but incredibly rewarding.
If you enjoy medium weapon gameplay, this should be near the top of your wishlist.
AK-47
When it comes to firearms, nothing consistently competes with the AK-47.
Available from the Black Market, it offers:
- Outstanding ranged damage
- Reliable performance
- Excellent farming speed
If you’re building a gun-focused character, this is easily the first weapon you should save for.
Dual Katanas
Dual Katanas remain one of the most enjoyable and effective weapons in Devil Hunter.
Their quick attacks and smooth combo chains make them excellent for players who prefer aggressive melee combat.
Morashama
Morashama is another powerful Medium Weapon that consistently performs well in nearly every situation.
Its combination of damage and reliability easily earns it an S Tier ranking.
Koochi Katana
Koochi Katana is one of the hardest weapons to craft, but it’s also one of the strongest.
Although it’s classified as a Heavy Weapon, its overall damage makes the lengthy crafting process worthwhile.
Dagger
At first glance, the Dagger may look like a basic weapon, but don’t underestimate it.
Its biggest strength is the incredibly low cooldown between attacks.
That allows players to:
- Build long combos
- Pressure opponents
- Maintain high sustained damage
Fast weapons like this remain extremely effective throughout the game.
Katana
The standard Katana continues to be one of the best all-around weapons.
It offers a balanced mix of:
- Damage
- Combo potential
- Ease of use
Whether you’re farming missions or fighting other players, it’s difficult to go wrong with the Katana.
Undead Sickles
Another weapon deserving of S Tier is the Undead Sickles.
Its overall performance makes it one of the strongest late-game melee options currently available.
A Tier Weapons
These weapons are excellent choices if you don’t yet own one of the S Tier options.
Combat Bloom
Combat Bloom delivers solid overall performance and remains a reliable weapon throughout most of the game.
While it doesn’t quite match the strongest S Tier choices, it’s still more than capable of handling difficult content.
Cross Punisher
Cross Punisher is another strong weapon that performs well in both PvE and PvP.
It’s a great alternative if you’re unable to craft or obtain one of the top-tier weapons.
B Tier Weapons
These weapons are usable, but they generally fall behind stronger alternatives.
Uzi
The Uzi offers respectable damage but struggles to compete with the AK-47.
If you’re planning to focus on ranged combat, upgrading to the AK-47 should be one of your long-term goals.
Scissor Blade
Scissor Blade performs reasonably well, but it’s held back slightly by being a Heavy Weapon.
Currently, Light and Medium weapons generally provide better sustained damage thanks to their faster attack speed and shorter cooldowns.
Punk Hazard
Punk Hazard remains a decent weapon with some useful traits, but there are simply stronger choices available.
It’s perfectly serviceable while progressing, just not a top priority.
Yamada
Yamada is another weapon that works well during progression but doesn’t quite reach the power level of higher-ranked options.
Scarlet Queen
Scarlet Queen is capable of clearing content but struggles to compete with the stronger Light and Medium weapons currently dominating the meta.
Razor Fang
Razor Fang is a respectable option early on, but most players will eventually replace it with one of the higher-ranked weapons.
C Tier Weapons
Weapons in this category can still be used, especially by newer players, but they’re generally outclassed by better alternatives.
If you already own something from A or S Tier, there’s little reason to continue investing resources into these weapons.
D Tier Weapons
These are the weakest options currently available.
Combat Knife
The Combat Knife works well enough when you’re first starting the game, but it quickly falls behind stronger weapons.
It’s best treated as a temporary weapon until you unlock something better.
In general, it’s not worth spending valuable crafting materials or farming time on weapons that fall into the D Tier category.
Heavy vs Medium vs Light Weapons
One interesting takeaway from the current weapon rankings is that Light and Medium weapons generally outperform Heavy weapons in most situations.
Their advantages include:
- Faster attack speed
- Lower cooldowns
- Better combo potential
- Higher sustained DPS
Heavy weapons can still deal impressive burst damage, but for everyday farming and PvP, faster weapons usually feel much smoother.
Which Weapons Should You Farm First?
If you’re starting fresh, I’d focus on these weapons first:
- AK-47 (Best gun)
- Kasaka’s Fangs
- Rock Blade
- Dual Katanas
- Katana
- Morashama
These weapons offer the best overall value and remain useful well into the late game.
Devil Hunter has a large weapon selection, but not every weapon deserves your time or crafting materials. If your goal is to become stronger as efficiently as possible, concentrate on the S Tier and A Tier weapons before investing in anything else.
For most melee players, Kasaka’s Fangs, Rock Blade, Dual Katanas, and Katana are excellent long-term choices. Gun users should save for the AK-47, which continues to be one of the strongest ranged weapons in the game. While lower-tier weapons can help during the early stages of progression, upgrading into one of the top-ranked options will make raids, missions, and PvP considerably easier.
