Clover Time is a Roblox game inspired by the Black Clover series, featuring magical Grimoires that grant unique combat abilities. Each Grimoire changes how you fight and progress, making them central to PvP battles and boss encounters.

In-game, managing your resources and picking the right Grimoire for your style is key — some Grimoires favor ranged combat while others shine in close-quarters combos. Many players initially waste resources on Grimoires that don’t match their approach, which can slow down progression.

Before diving in, focus on collecting Crystal Mana because you’ll need it to roll for Grimoires at the Grimoire Gacha. Unlock teleportation to the Grimoire Tower early to save time searching for it.

This overview covers every available Grimoire in Clover Time as of now, ensuring you know their strengths and weaknesses for smarter choices.

All Available Grimoires in Clover Time

Obtaining Grimoires requires using Mana Crystals at the Grimoire Gacha, so resource gathering is a priority before you start rolling.

Here is the complete list of Grimoires in Clover Time:

Anti-Magic Grimoire

Anti-Magic excels in both player-vs-player and player-vs-environment combat with high damage and stun abilities that disrupt enemy actions. Its awakened form enhances offense, making it ideal for aggressive, combo-driven playstyles that require sustained pressure on foes.

Battle Lightning Grimoire

Battle Lightning offers a versatile set of six skills that include melee, ranged, and AoE attacks. Its notable ability, Volt Breaker, breaks blocks, punishing defensive opponents. Fast attacks make it tough for enemies to react, making this Grimoire strong for adaptive PvP and PvE combat.

Poison Grimoire

Poison focuses on ranged attacks that keep opponents at a distance while dealing solid damage. It’s particularly effective in boss fights thanks to its reach and an ability to summon a durable clone to assist you, which adds significant support during PvE grinding.

This Grimoire suits players who prefer ranged fighting styles and want an ally in prolonged battles.

Chain Grimoire

Chain specializes in long-range enemy control and stunning, which keeps foes locked down through combos. Its quick skill cooldowns allow multiple uses in rapid succession. Best performance comes when engaging within its attack range to maintain pressure and prevent enemy counters.

If manipulating fight pacing and disabling enemies appeals to you, Chain is the Grimoire to pick.

It is a useful choice if you enjoy controlling the pace of a fight and preventing opponents from retaliating.

Explosive Flame Grimoire

Explosive Flame blends melee, ranged, and AoE attacks for flexible combat options. Some skills inflict Burn status inflicting damage-over-time, making it effective against groups and prolonged battles.

This Grimoire is a solid choice for players wanting a fire-themed weapon without fully relying on DoT effects.

Its combination of direct damage and burning effects makes it a practical option for players who want a fire-based Grimoire without relying entirely on damage-over-time abilities.

Ice Grimoire

Ice combines ranged and AoE attacks, useful for clearing mobs and boss fights. Though its damage is modest, its Absolute Zero skill stuns enemies briefly, opening opportunities for combos.

Ice scales well with Power and Strength but is most effective in early-to-mid game, as low base damage caps its endgame viability.

However, Ice has relatively low base damage, which can limit its effectiveness against stronger opponents. You may find it more useful during early and mid-game progression than in demanding endgame fights.

Water Grimoire

Water is a great starter Grimoire thanks to its fast basic attacks (M1s) and skills that handle multiple hits, keeping pressure on foes and allowing quick clearing of early quests.

Its downside is relatively weaker endgame PvE and limited PvP usefulness, but it holds up well while working toward better Grimoires.

Its main drawback is that its effectiveness falls off during endgame PvE, while its PvP performance is comparatively limited. Nevertheless, it can serve you well while you work toward obtaining another Grimoire.

Snow Grimoire

Snow offers ranged combat with damage-over-time effects stacked via barrage-style attacks. It works for early grinding against weaker enemies but struggles in midgame challenges and PvP.

Best used to finish early quests before upgrading to more powerful Grimoires.

You can still use it to complete early quests, but you may want to consider another Grimoire as you progress into more difficult content.

Fire Grimoire

Fire centers around burning enemies with DoT and AoE abilities like Fire Ground to eliminate groups. However, it suffers from low base damage and poor scaling without heavy Strength investment.

While effective in the initial game stages, Fire becomes less reliable against tougher opponents beyond Hage Village.

Fire can be useful when you’re just starting out, but its limited damage potential makes it less reliable for later stages of the game.

Earth Grimoire

Earth offers skills such as Stone Edge that can deal reasonable damage, but slow basic attacks and clunky combat limit its effectiveness.

It’s notably weak in PvP and requires large Strength and Power investments for viable PvE. Earth demands more effort to compete with other Grimoires.

Although it has some offensive potential, Earth may require more effort than other options to achieve comparable results.

Acquiring Grimoires in Clover Time

Grimoires are acquired via the Grimoire Gacha inside the Grimoire Tower near the Chain Bandit Boss. You’ll need Crystal Mana to roll for Grimoires.

Teleport to the Grimoire Tower by talking to Finral and choosing the teleport option. Without teleporter credits, ride a broom while heading between 105 and 120 degrees on your compass to find the tower.

Once inside, climb the tower platform and interact with the red box to access the Gacha. Then spend Crystal Mana to try your luck on new Grimoires.

Ways to gather Crystal Mana include:

  1. Redeeming active Clover Time codes
  2. Defeating the Wolf Mana Boss
  3. Finding chests scattered around the world
  4. Crafting Crystal Mana from fragments
  5. Fishing, which can yield Crystal Mana

Multiple attempts may be necessary due to the random spin mechanic.

  • Redeem codes: Use active Clover Time codes to claim available rewards.
  • Defeat the Wolf Mana Boss: The boss can drop Crystal Mana.
  • Open chests: Search the world for chests containing rewards.
  • Craft Crystal Mana: Combine Crystal Mana Fragments to craft the currency.
  • Go fishing: Fishing is another way to obtain Crystal Mana.

Since the Grimoire Gacha uses spins to determine your result, you may need several attempts to obtain the Grimoire you want.
