Cameraman Tower Defense Update 5 is here, bringing a new Godly unit, a Mythic Crate, Halloween Town, Path of Honor, and a brand-new map. There are also several new units to collect, weekly quests to complete, and plenty of rewards to earn.

In this post, I will explain everything you need to know about the UTTVM update, including the new units, their stats, crate drop rates, candy farming methods, and how much it really costs to get the new Godly. I will also share my recommendations on what you should prioritize first so you can make the most of your coins, candy, and boosts.

Whether you are a new player or already have a strong team, this guide will help you understand the update and choose the best way to progress without wasting valuable resources.

Cameraman Tower Defense Update 5 – UTTVM Update Guide

Upgraded Titan TV Man is the headline unit of Update 5. He is a Godly unit with area damage and a teleport ability, making him a powerful addition to your collection.

Interestingly, his name appears as Upgraded Titan Cinema in some match interfaces, but this is the same unit.

Upgraded Titan TV Man Stats

Stat Value
Rarity Godly
Placement Cost 1,500 coins
First Upgrade 3,500 coins
Maximum Damage 36,000
Attack Cooldown 3 seconds
Range 20
Listed DPS 30,000

At maximum level, Upgraded Titan TV Man deals 36,000 damage every three seconds. His final upgrade costs 25,000 coins and increases his damage from 12,000 to 36,000.

His match damage panel separates his attacks into two parts:

  • TV attack: 10,500 DPS
  • Core attack: 7,500 DPS
  • Combined match-panel DPS: 18,000

This is lower than the 30,000 DPS displayed on his unit card, so keep that difference in mind when comparing him with other units.

Upgraded Titan TV Man vs. Upgraded Titan Cameraman

The older Upgraded Titan Cameraman remains a strong Godly unit. His maximum damage is 25,000, and he has a range of 40.

The new Upgraded Titan TV Man deals more damage per hit, but his range is half as large. He also costs 25,000 coins to move after placement, so I recommend choosing his position carefully before deploying him.

How to Get Upgraded Titan TV Man

<INSERT IMAGE: Mythic Crate>

Upgraded Titan TV Man is available from the new Mythic Crate beside the Basic Crate in the Summon area.

Summon Option Cost
1 Pull 900 coins
10 Pulls 8,100 coins

The 10-pull option gives you a 10% discount, so I recommend saving your coins and opening crates in batches of 10.

Mythic Crate Drop Rates

Unit Drop Rate
Popcorn Cameraman Part of the combined 91%
Large TV Man Part of the combined 91%
Laser Cameraman Car 8%
Upgraded Titan Speakerman Less than 1%
Upgraded Titan TV Man 0.1%

Most of your pulls will be Popcorn Cameraman or Large TV Man. The new Godly has a base drop rate of just 0.1%, which means approximately one chance in 1,000 pulls.

How Many Coins Do You Need?

At the standard 0.1% drop rate, the average cost of getting one Upgraded Titan TV Man is approximately 810,000 coins when using discounted 10-pulls.

However, this is only an average. You can get lucky early, or you may spend much more without getting the unit.

Coins Spent Approximate Chance
100,000 12%
300,000 30%
500,000 46%
1,000,000 70%
2,000,000 91%

Even with one million coins, there is still a significant chance that you will not get the new Godly.

Use Luck Boosts Before Summoning

Luck boosts can increase the Godly’s drop rate. With a boost of approximately 2.5x luck, the displayed rate may increase from 0.1% to around 0.3%.

At 0.3%, the average cost drops to approximately 270,000 coins.

My recommendation is to save your coins and summon while your luck boosts are active. This gives you a much better chance of getting the unit without spending as many coins.

Extra Units You Can Get From Summoning

While trying to get Upgraded Titan TV Man, you will also collect several other units.

From approximately 1,000 pulls, you can expect around:

  • 590 Popcorn Cameramen
  • 320 Large TV Men
  • 80 Laser Cameraman Cars
  • 9 Upgraded Titan Speakermen

These extra units can be useful for trading, so check their values before selling or exchanging them.

Since unit storage is limited to 500 slots, I recommend enabling the auto-sell option for units you do not need. Laser Cameraman Car is worth two storage slots, so keep that in mind when managing your inventory.

The Basic Crate and the Old Godly

The older Upgraded Titan Cameraman is still available from the Basic Crate at a 0.01% drop rate.

Each Basic Crate pull costs 100 coins, making it much cheaper per pull than the Mythic Crate.

However, the Mythic Crate lineup has a reset timer, and the available Godly can change. Before spending your coins, check the crate carefully to make sure Upgraded Titan TV Man is actually listed.

Halloween Town: New Event Mode

Halloween Town is a new event map designed for farming candy and collecting exclusive units.

There are two difficulties:

Difficulty Waves Candy Reward
Easy 40 150
Hard 55 500

Hard mode rewards more than twice as much candy per run and provides three times the pass XP compared with Easy.

The voting screen also recommends which units to bring:

  • Easy: Legendary units
  • Hard: Mythic units

If your team is strong enough to clear Hard consistently, I recommend farming it for the better rewards.

How to Get Vampire Cameraman

Vampire Cameraman is an exclusive unit that drops directly from Halloween Town. You do not need to spend coins to obtain him.

Difficulty Drop Rate
Easy 1%
Hard 3%

At the 3% drop rate, you can expect to get Vampire Cameraman after approximately 33 Hard runs on average. Easy mode is still an option if your team cannot clear Hard, but the 1% drop rate means you may need around 100 runs on average.

Vampire Cameraman slows toilets and deals 2,500 DPS at maximum level. I consider him a support unit rather than a main damage dealer.

While farming for him, you will also collect candy that can be spent in the event shop.

Sand Coffin Crate: New Halloween Units

The Sand Coffin Crate is available in the Halloween event shop and costs 6,000 candy per crate.

Purchase Candy Cost
1 Crate 6,000
10 Crates 60,000

There is no bulk discount, so buying 10 crates costs exactly the same as buying them individually.

A Hard Halloween Town run gives 500 candy, meaning you need 12 Hard wins for one crate. With the Double Candy Pass, you can earn enough candy for a crate in just six Hard wins.

Mummy Cameraman

Mummy Cameraman is the Legendary unit in the Sand Coffin Crate.

  • Drop rate: 99%
  • Maximum DPS: 3,000

He can be useful during the early game, but he is not strong enough to carry an advanced team on his own.

Pharaoh Cameraman

Pharaoh Cameraman is the Mythic unit in the crate, with a 1% drop rate.

He is a spawner unit with a 20-second cooldown. His summoned allies can have up to 30,000 health, but they do not deal damage. Instead, they act as defensive walls that absorb enemy attacks.

At a 1% drop rate, you need approximately 100 crates on average to obtain Pharaoh Cameraman. That means around 600,000 candy or 1,200 Hard Halloween Town wins without a Double Candy Pass.

Because of this, I would not recommend opening Sand Coffin Crates specifically to get Pharaoh Cameraman. Trading may be a more realistic option.

Path of Honor: New Progression System

Path of Honor is one of the biggest additions in Update 5. It is a progression ladder where you earn ranks by dealing damage across your matches.

Your damage accumulates over time, so you do not need to reach each milestone in a single game.

The ranks start at Starter, requiring 100,000 damage, and extend to Expert, which requires one billion damage.

Path of Honor Rewards

Each rank rewards coins and gems. Starting from Average rank, you can also earn units.

Some of the notable rewards include:

  • Noob: 600 coins and 10 gems
  • Advanced: 1,820 gems
  • Expert: 8,125 gems
  • Average: Rocket Cameraman

The total rewards from Starter through Expert add up to approximately 14,400 coins and 100 gems, along with the units earned from the ranks.

These rewards are useful, but they will not provide enough coins to guarantee the new Godly. The units are the more valuable part of the progression system.

Rocket Cameraman

Rocket Cameraman is an Epic unit unlocked through Path of Honor.

He has splash damage and can hit up to five toilets at once. At maximum level, he deals approximately 1,000 DPS, making him useful for clearing groups of enemies.

The early Path of Honor ranks are relatively easy to complete, so I recommend progressing through them as soon as possible.

New Toilet HQ Map

Toilet HQ is the new map introduced in Update 5. It is available across Easy, Medium, Hard, and other game modes.

A Nightmare victory on this map rewards approximately 1,000 coins and 150 candy. A typical run takes around eight minutes.

This makes Nightmare a useful option for farming coins, especially if you have the Double Coins Pass.

With the pass, you can earn approximately 2,000 coins per win, reducing the time needed to save for Mythic Crate pulls.

Other New Units in Update 5

The update also introduces several additional units.

Unit Details
Hacked Cameraman Exclusive unit that slows toilets by up to 40%
Prototype Duo Exclusive unit with area damage and 15,000 maximum DPS
Green Laser Cameraman Newly listed unit
Large Laser Cameraman Newly listed unit
Speaker Helicopter Newly listed unit
Dark Speaker Man Newly listed unit
Camera Attack Helicopter Newly listed unit

Hacked Cameraman and Prototype Duo are particularly interesting because they offer slowing effects and area damage, respectively.

Some of the other units are listed in the update information, but their exact stats and acquisition methods are not yet confirmed.

Weekly Quests and New Codes

Weekly quests are now available, giving you additional ways to earn gems.

There are four weekly quests, including objectives such as:

  • Beat 500 waves
  • Win 20 games

Each completed quest rewards 20 gems.

Also, remember that your account needs at least three wins before you can redeem codes.
