To start the Black Fairy Rod quest, you must travel to the underground music venue in Fisch. Once there, talk to Draven and select: I’ll help you find it. This will start the questline that will reward you with the rod.

You can catch the Rotwood Perch in Everturn Forest using Coral bait at any weather or time, but it’s better during Autumn. To snag the Translucent mutation, use a rod with the Ghastly enchantment (100% chance) or the Spiritbinder rod (90% chance). Alternatively, look for it at the Appraiser.

Ancient Wood can be found around Sunstone Island without much preference for bait, weather, season, or time. The Mossy mutation isn’t appraisable, so you’ll need the Elder Mossripper rod, giving a 15% base chance (100% when its passive ability activates).

The Gem Blobfish is caught at Treasure Island in any conditions by using Crab Cages or Golden Shrimp Bait. To get the Rotting mutation, catch it with the Splitbranch Twig rod, which has a 35% application chance.
