Anime Zero Update 4 has arrived with plenty of new content, including two new game modes, powerful weapons, weapon skins, a Season Pass, new titles, and several gameplay improvements. There is a lot to explore in this update, so knowing what each new feature offers can help you decide where to spend your time first.

In this guide, we will cover everything added in Update 4, from Tidal High-Rise and the Evil Reflection Raid to Crimson Eclipse and Solar Radiance. We will also explain the new Season Pass, weapon skins, titles, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements.

Whether you are returning to Anime Zero to farm the new weapons or looking to complete every new challenge, this guide will help you understand the update and make the most of its content.

Anime Zero Update 4 Guide – All New Modes, Codes

Update 4 introduces two new modes: Tidal High-Rise and the Evil Reflection Raid. Both are available on Nightmare difficulty and provide important materials for the new weapons.

Tidal High-Rise

Tidal High-Rise is a tower-climbing challenge where you must reach the roof before the rising water catches you. You start in an underground parking area and work your way through increasingly difficult floors.

On each floor, you must defeat enemies, pull a lever, and hold the gate against another rush of enemies before moving upward. Each floor includes a mini-boss, with additional bosses appearing as you climb. Three bosses await you on the roof.

The mode also features random events that can change how each run plays.

  • Blackout: A special event that changes the conditions during your run.
  • Sprint: A movement-focused event that affects how you progress through the floor.
  • High Wind: Strong winds can affect your movement. You can block to hold your ground.
  • Surges: Another random event that changes the challenge during your climb.

Pay attention to the event on each floor and adjust your approach accordingly.

Blessing Cards

After floors 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10, you can choose a blessing card to improve your setup.

Choose defensive bonuses if you are struggling to survive, or focus on damage if enemies are taking too long to defeat. Clearing floors quickly is important because the water continues to rise behind you.

Tidal High-Rise Rewards

Clearing the roof rewards you with:

  • 18,000 Coins
  • 500 Gims

You can also earn Coins and XP by successfully holding gates, even if you do not finish the entire run.

There is an option to revive immediately for 99 Robux if you want to continue after being defeated.

The mode also drops three important materials:

  • Sheer Fragments
  • Crimson Ribbons
  • Thread Chokers

These materials are required to craft Crimson Eclipse and awaken it later. Keep farming them even after crafting the weapon if you want to complete its full progression.

Evil Reflection Raid

The Evil Reflection Raid is the second new mode in Update 4. In this challenge, you fight waves of reflections of your own avatar before facing an evil twin that uses your equipped kit.

You start with three lives, so try to save as many as possible for the final fight.

Mirror Blessings

After each of the first four waves, you can select a Mirror Blessing. These bonuses stack throughout the raid and can provide several advantages, including:

  • Increased damage
  • Additional health
  • Increased movement speed
  • Healing from kills
  • An extra life

Choose blessings based on your current situation. Damage bonuses can help you clear waves faster, while healing and extra lives can improve your chances of defeating the final enemy.

Evil Reflection Raid Rewards

The raid drops three important materials used to awaken Solar Radiance:

  • Pure Sword Shards
  • Hunter Star
  • Pure Quill

Save these materials while farming for Solar Radiance so you can make progress toward its awakening at the same time.

New Weapons in Update 4

Update 4 introduces two new Life-rarity weapons: Crimson Eclipse and Solar Radiance. Both have unique skills and awakening progression.

Crimson Eclipse

Crimson Eclipse is a craftable weapon obtained using materials from Tidal High-Rise.

It uses twin blades and giant shears, giving it a distinctive combat style. One of its basic attacks allows you to ride and steer the shears, adding a different kind of movement to its attacks.

Its abilities include:

  • Severing Flurry
  • Crimson Waltz
  • Grand Shears
  • Final Cut – Ultimate

The weapon combines multi-hit attacks with powerful finishing moves. You can craft it through the crafting menu once you have collected the required materials from Tidal High-Rise.

Crimson Eclipse also has its own awakening progression, which requires additional materials from Tidal High-Rise and Story Acts.

Solar Radiance

Solar Radiance is the second new Life-rarity weapon. Unlike Crimson Eclipse, it is obtained from the Evil Reflection Raid rather than through crafting.

Its awakening progression is connected to Shadow Lord, so you need to fully upgrade Shadow Lord’s Monarch Path, Night Tree, and Skill Tree while collecting the required materials.

Solar Radiance features several sword-based attacks:

  • Final Verdict
  • Blade Dance
  • Heaven’s Blade
  • Sword Volley

These skills provide a combination of slashes and sword-based attacks. Once Solar Radiance is awakened and Shadow Lord is fully upgraded, you also unlock a special duo ultimate.

Monarch and Hunter Duo Ultimate

The Monarch and Hunter duo ultimate is one of the major rewards connected to Solar Radiance’s awakening.

When the requirements are complete, Shadow Lord’s ultimate chains into a combined attack featuring a copy of your character alongside Igris.

If you are already investing in Shadow Lord, working toward Solar Radiance gives you another reason to complete its full upgrade path.

New Weapon Skins

Update 4 adds two new skins for Crimson Eclipse: Subzero and Lielle’s Blessing.

Subzero Skin

Subzero is an Arcane-rarity skin with a 5% chance to obtain when you receive a copy of Crimson Eclipse.

The chance is tied to obtaining the weapon itself, rather than every Tidal High-Rise run. Therefore, completing a run does not independently give you a 5% chance to receive the skin.

If you want Subzero, you will need to pursue additional Crimson Eclipse copies.

Lielle’s Blessing Skin

Lielle’s Blessing is a Life-rarity skin that costs 888 Robux.

This skin can also be gifted, making it another option for players who want to obtain it through the game’s gifting system.

How to Access Weapon Skins

There are two ways to access skins after obtaining them:

  1. Open the Summon window and select the skins button.
  2. Open your Backpack and use the new Skins tab.

Each skin copy is numbered, and the game announces when a copy is obtained in chat.

Season Pass Guide

Update 4 introduces the game’s first Season Pass, giving players another way to earn rewards through regular gameplay.

The Season Pass lasts 28 days and features 50 tiers across a free track and a premium track, followed by bonus tiers.

How to Earn Season Pass XP

You earn Season Pass XP by completing quests.

The easiest way to make progress is to check your quests regularly and complete them while farming modes, weapons, and other content. This lets you progress through the pass without having to focus exclusively on separate objectives.

Free and Premium Tracks

The Season Pass includes two reward tracks:

  • Free Track: Available to players progressing without purchasing premium access.
  • Premium Track: Unlocks the additional premium rewards and can also be gifted.

Even if you only use the free track, remember to check the Season Pass and collect the rewards you unlock as you progress.

All New Titles in Update 4

Three new titles have been added, each with its own requirements.

Title Requirements
Ms. Potential Defeat 30 bosses and 800 enemies as Crimson Eclipse on Medium difficulty or higher without dying.
Wifey Complete 8 clears on Hard difficulty or higher as Solar Radiance without dying.
Void Hunter As Ye Zero, defeat 25 bosses and 1,200 enemies in Trials.

These titles reward players for completing specific challenges with the new weapons or character.

If you are working toward Ms. Potential or Wifey, make sure you meet the difficulty requirements and avoid dying during your progress.

New Leaderboard Trophy Emotes

Players who finish in the top three on the leaderboards can now receive new trophy emotes.

This adds another reward for competitive players who want to show off their leaderboard achievements.

If you regularly compete for the top positions, these emotes give you another goal to work toward alongside the usual progression rewards.

Gameplay and Balance Changes

Update 4 includes several changes designed to improve combat and make longer runs more rewarding.

Shadow Lord Balance Changes

Igris and Arise Shadows now deal more damage as you progress deeper into Infinite and Tidal High-Rise.

This helps their damage remain more useful against stronger enemies during longer runs, particularly when you are pushing through increasingly difficult stages.

Co-op Skills Can Heal Teammates

Co-op gameplay has received a useful change: your skills can now heal teammates.

This gives players another way to support their group during difficult fights. If you are playing with others, healing can help everyone survive longer and make progress through the new modes more consistently.

Bulk Trait Rolling

Players who own Instant Spins can now use the Bulk Trait Roll feature to roll several times at once.

The system stops when you obtain a Trait selected in your Keep Traits list or any Mythic Trait.

Before using this feature, check your Keep Traits selections to make sure it stops on the Traits you actually want to keep.

Enchant Crystal Pack Changes

Enchant Crystal packs now provide more crystals than before.

The updated quantities include:

  • Celestial Vault: Increased from 300 to 800.
  • Chest: Increased from 100 to 525.
  • Pile: Increased from 5 to 15.

These changes make the packs more rewarding and give players more crystals to use for progression.

Run Progress Carries Over After Updates

Another useful change is that your runs can now carry over to a fresh server when the game updates.

Previously, longer activities could be interrupted by an update that required you to restart. With this change, you can continue from where you left off rather than losing your progress and starting over.

This is especially helpful during long Infinite or Trials runs.

UI and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Update 4 also includes several interface and performance improvements.

Updated Summon Window

The Summon window has been reorganized, placing the Skill Tree, Emotes, and Skins together in one row.

This makes it easier to access these features without navigating through separate areas of the interface.

Improved Mobile Interface

The lobby buttons and the Q window on phones have been updated to improve the mobile experience.

These changes make the interface more convenient for players using touch controls.

New Settings

Two useful settings have been added:

  • Reduced Motion: Gives players more control over motion effects.
  • Menu Sound Volume: Adds a separate slider for adjusting menu sounds.

These options let you customize the game’s presentation and sound levels more easily.

Performance Improvements

The update also improves performance, particularly on phones.

The changes include faster lobby loading and reduced memory usage, which should help make the game smoother on supported mobile devices.

Audio Changes

Several audio adjustments have been made:

  • Summon music has been rebalanced.
  • Voice lines have been rebalanced.
  • Footsteps are quieter.

These changes help improve the overall audio experience while playing.

New Update 4 Code

Before you start farming the new content, remember to check for the latest Anime Zero redeem code.

The update’s code is identified as UPDATE4 in the supplied update information, but make sure it is still active before attempting to redeem it.

To redeem a code, open the game’s code redemption interface, enter the code exactly as required, and confirm it. If the code has expired or does not work, check the game’s latest official announcements for an updated list.

Anime Zero Update 4 adds plenty of content for both new and experienced players. Tidal High-Rise and the Evil Reflection Raid introduce new challenges, while Crimson Eclipse and Solar Radiance provide powerful weapons to pursue.

If you want to focus on weapon progression, start by farming Tidal High-Rise for Crimson Eclipse materials or the Evil Reflection Raid for Solar Radiance. Save your awakening materials while farming, and remember that Solar Radiance requires a fully upgraded Shadow Lord to complete its progression.

The Season Pass, new titles, weapon skins, leaderboard emotes, and gameplay improvements provide even more reasons to explore the update. Make sure you check your quests, collect your rewards, and take advantage of the new features as you progress through Anime Zero Update 4.
