One of the biggest secrets in Anime Vanguards Update 13.5 is the Zombie LTM Questline. At first glance, the objectives can seem confusing because the game provides very little direction on where specific items are located. Many players spend multiple runs wandering around the map trying to figure out what the quests actually mean.

The good news is that completing the entire questline rewards you with exclusive items and permanently unlocks one free reward on your account. Even better, every future completion provides additional bonuses that make farming the Summer Event much more efficient.

After running through the questline several times, the hardest part isn’t surviving the zombies. The real challenge is knowing where each objective is hidden. This guide covers every step in order so you can finish the quest as quickly as possible.

Zombie LTM Rewards

Before starting the questline, it’s important to understand why it’s worth doing.

The first time you complete the entire questline, you get to choose one of four exclusive rewards.

The available rewards include:

  • Iscanur Unit
  • Iscanur Memoria
  • Iscanur Vanguard Familiar
  • Today’s Strongest vs History’s Strongest Memoria

You can only select one reward, so choose carefully.

After your first completion, future clears no longer give the reward selection screen. Instead, each completion grants a 0.5 Iced Tea multiplier bonus, helping you farm event currency much faster.

Because of this, the questline remains valuable even after obtaining your preferred reward.

Starting The Zombie LTM

Enter the Summer Zombie LTM and begin a normal run.

When the match starts, you will spawn in Zone 1.

Your first priority should always be setting up your economy.

Place your starter unit immediately. Most players will begin with Lord Fairy or King depending on their available options.

After placing your starter unit, begin purchasing farms and upgrading them whenever possible.

A strong economy is extremely important because later zones become expensive to unlock.

While farming yen, keep an eye on the quest tracker in the top-left corner of the screen.

This is where your current objective will be displayed.

Cursed Finger Collection

The first objective requires collecting Cursed Fingers hidden throughout the map.

The quest description reads:

“Gather the Cursed Fingers. Hunt them down across the zones.”

The finger locations are randomized between zones.

Because of this, your locations may not match someone else’s run exactly.

Zone 1 Search

Always check Zone 1 first.

Some runs will contain fingers here, while others will not.

If you do not find any fingers in Zone 1, don’t panic. This is completely normal.

Simply continue progressing.

Zone 2 Search

Once you have enough money, unlock Zone 2.

Zone 2 almost always contains several fingers.

Search the entire area carefully and collect every finger you see.

Missing even one finger will prevent progression later.

Zone 3 Search

Zone 3 may or may not contain fingers depending on your run.

Even if you are trying to rush toward Zone 4, it is still worth unlocking Zone 3 first.

Walk around the entire area and double-check every corner before moving on.

Many players waste time later because they accidentally missed a finger here.

Zone 4 Search

Zone 4 contains the remaining fingers needed for completion.

Unlocking Zone 4 costs 300,000 yen, making it the most expensive area required for the questline.

Because of the high cost, efficient farming becomes extremely important.

Once Zone 4 is open, collect the final fingers scattered throughout the area.

After gathering every finger, the quest automatically advances to the next stage.

Fast Farming Strategy

Reaching Zone 4 quickly can save several minutes each run.

The best approach is focusing heavily on income generation early.

Purchase farms immediately.

Upgrade those farms whenever possible.

Takaroda is particularly useful because it significantly improves your economy and helps you reach the 300,000 yen requirement much faster.

At the same time, don’t neglect your defenses.

The zombie waves become noticeably stronger as the match progresses.

A few upgraded damage units can prevent leaks while you continue saving money.

Power-Up Potions

Throughout the match, you’ll occasionally discover power-up potions.

Never ignore these.

Some potions provide extremely powerful bonuses.

One of the best possible effects is the x2 Yen boost.

This bonus dramatically accelerates progression and can shave several waves off your Zone 4 unlock timing.

Whenever you see a potion nearby, collect it immediately.

Defeat 50 Enemies

After collecting every finger, the next quest objective appears.

You must defeat 50 enemies.

Fortunately, this step is much easier than the previous one.

Strong units such as Yamamoto can clear this objective extremely quickly.

Build a few defensive structures, upgrade your units, and simply allow them to eliminate enemies naturally.

Most players complete this objective without needing to go out of their way.

Once 50 enemies have been defeated, the questline progresses again.

Finding The Tools

This is where most players become stuck.

The game instructs you to:

“Find the tools. Search the sealed subway entrances.”

The problem is that the game never clearly identifies which subway entrances matter.

Fortunately, there are only four possible locations.

Zone 4 Subway Entrance

The first possible location is near Reaper in Zone 4.

Search the nearby subway entrance carefully.

Zone 4 Truck Location

The second location can be found behind the large truck in Zone 4.

Look around the area until the interaction prompt appears.

Zone 3 Staircase

The third location is underneath the staircase in Zone 3.

Walk underneath the stairs and check carefully.

Many players overlook this spot because it blends into the environment.

Zone 3 Tree Location

The final location is near the tree beside the Double Tap area in Zone 3.

Inspect the area closely until you discover the interaction prompt.

Tool Interaction

Once you locate the correct spot, an interaction prompt appears.

Press E to search.

After interacting successfully, the quest immediately moves to the next objective.

Repairing The Street Lamp

The next objective asks players to repair a street lamp.

Several lamp posts exist throughout the map, but only one will be correct during your run.

Walk around the map looking for lamp posts matching the quest objective.

Eventually, one will display an interaction prompt.

When you find it, press E to begin repairs.

Repair Minigame

Repairing the lamp launches a short minigame.

The objective is simple.

Press E or Space when prompted before the timer expires.

If you fail, don’t worry.

You can immediately retry the challenge.

Successfully completing the repair advances the questline.

Obtaining The Showdown Unit

The final objective revolves around Today’s Strongest vs History’s Strongest.

At this stage, visit a Mystery Box.

During the event, obtaining the Showdown unit is guaranteed.

Roll the box until you receive Today’s Strongest vs History’s Strongest.

Place the unit on the map.

After placement, begin upgrading it.

Clash Of The Strongest

Once the unit is fully upgraded, activate its special ability.

Use the Clash of the Strongest skill.

As soon as the ability is successfully activated, the final quest objective completes.

This marks the end of the entire Zombie LTM Questline.

Zone 5 Unlock

Completing the questline permanently unlocks Zone 5 for that run.

Zone 5 contains some of the most valuable rewards available in the mode.

Potential rewards include:

  • Trait-related upgrades
  • Monarch progression resources
  • Sukuna rewards
  • Luffy rewards
  • Additional event resources

Unlocking Zone 5 significantly increases the value of each run.

First-Time Reward Selection

After your first successful completion, a reward selection screen appears.

You may choose one of the following:

Iscanur Unit

The best option for players who do not already own the character.

This provides permanent access to the unit.

Iscanur Memoria

A strong choice for players focused on maximizing Iscanur’s performance.

Iscanur Familiar

An excellent cosmetic and gameplay companion.

Many players choose this reward because of its appearance and exclusivity.

Today’s Strongest vs History’s Strongest Memoria

A valuable Memoria designed around the update’s headline unit.

Ideal for players building around the new Gojo vs Sukuna character.

Remember that this selection only appears once.

Future completions will not allow you to choose again.

Repeat Completion Benefits

Many players assume the questline becomes useless after obtaining their reward.

This is not true.

Every future completion grants a permanent 0.5 Iced Tea multiplier bonus for that run.

Since Iced Tea is one of the most important Summer Event currencies, repeatedly completing the questline becomes one of the best farming strategies available.

Players chasing Event Pass rewards, Summer Portals, or exclusive shop items should prioritize completing the quest every run.

The Zombie LTM Questline is easily one of the most rewarding activities in Anime Vanguards Update 13.5. While some objectives are poorly explained in-game, the rewards make the effort worthwhile.

The first completion grants an exclusive reward of your choice, while future clears improve your Iced Tea farming efficiency through the bonus multiplier. Combined with Zone 5 access and additional event rewards, the questline quickly becomes a core part of the Summer Event grind.

If you’re participating in the Summer Event, this should be one of the first activities you complete. The rewards, progression benefits, and long-term farming advantages make it one of the most valuable pieces of content introduced in Update 13.5.
