Anime Squadron Update 1.75 introduces the long-awaited Tokyo Ghoul update, featuring Ken Kaneki, a new Divine evolution, the Ghoul City Challenge, a brand-new Infinite Mode, quality-of-life improvements, and several redeem codes.

If you’re wondering how to unlock Divine Kaneki (Kan Ghoul) or complete the new challenge stages, this guide covers everything added in Update 1.75.

Anime Squadron Update 1.75 Guide – Ken Kaneki, Codes

The update includes several new features:

  • Ghoul City Challenge
  • New Infinite Mode
  • Ken Kaneki banner unit
  • Meta challenge unit
  • Divine Kaneki evolution
  • Improved pity system
  • Multiple quality-of-life improvements
  • New redeem codes

New Units

Two new Tokyo Ghoul-themed units arrive in this update.

Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki is the featured Banner Unit.

Players first obtain him as a lower rarity unit before completing his Divine progression through a special questline.

Meta

Meta is the new Challenge Reward Unit.

Unlike Kaneki, Meta is earned by completing the Ghoul City Challenge instead of summoning from banners.

How to Get Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki is available through the Selection Banner.

Simply summon using Gems until you obtain him.

The updated pity system makes summoning considerably more forgiving than previous updates.

Secret Unit Pity Changes

One of the biggest improvements in Update 1.75 is the adjustment to Secret unit rates.

The update also reduces the maximum pity requirement for Secret units, making rare characters much easier to obtain over time.

This is one of the most player-friendly changes introduced in recent updates.

How to Unlock Divine Kaneki

After obtaining Ken Kaneki, you’ll need to complete his Divine Quest.

Divine Quest Requirements

Complete all of the following objectives:

  • Awaken Ken Kaneki.
  • Defeat 1,500 enemies.
  • Clear Ghoul City Challenge 125 times.
  • Beat Ghoul City Challenge while losing fewer than 15 units.
  • Perform 100 summons.

Once every objective is complete, you’ll unlock Divine Kaneki.

Compared to previous Divine quests, Kaneki’s requirements are relatively straightforward, although clearing the challenge 125 times is still a significant grind.

How to Beat Ghoul City Challenge

The Ghoul City Challenge is the primary activity introduced in Update 1.75.

It consists of multiple chapters and serves several purposes:

  • Awakening Kaneki
  • Farming Divine Quest progress
  • Unlocking the Challenge reward unit
  • Collecting event materials

Fortunately, the challenge is much easier than many players expected.

Should You Play Normal or Hard?

For most players, Normal Mode is the best place to begin.

Normal difficulty allows you to:

  • Farm Kaneki materials.
  • Learn enemy mechanics.
  • Progress through Divine quests.
  • Build stronger units before tackling Hard Mode.

Once your team becomes stronger, you can move into Hard difficulty for better rewards.

Team Strategy

You don’t need a perfect account to complete the challenge.

A balanced team containing the following works well:

  • Main DPS
  • Tank
  • Shield breaker
  • Secondary damage dealer
  • Support

The challenge focuses more on maintaining consistent damage than relying on one overpowered unit.

Enemy Shields

One mechanic you’ll encounter throughout Ghoul City Challenge is enemy shielding.

Several enemies can generate powerful shields that must be destroyed before dealing full damage.

Because of this:

  • Upgrade your main damage dealer early.
  • Keep your tank alive.
  • Focus fire on shielded enemies.

Once the shield breaks, enemies become much easier to eliminate.

Infinite Mode

Update 1.75 also introduces a new Infinite Mode.

The mode functions similarly to previous Infinite stages:

  • Defeat endless enemy waves.
  • Earn daily rewards.
  • Collect Gacha Bags.
  • Push for higher wave records.

While Infinite Mode doesn’t introduce many unique mechanics, it provides another reliable source of farming rewards.

Update 1.75 Quality-of-Life Improvements

This update includes numerous improvements that make the game much more enjoyable.

Improved Combat Information

Players can now view important combat stats directly in-game, including:

  • Critical Chance
  • Critical Damage
  • Dodge Rate
  • Other combat attributes

Leader Skill Display

Leader Skills are now displayed during gameplay, making team-building much easier.

Pity Counter

The game now displays your pity progress for:

  • Units
  • Items

This helps players keep track of exactly how close they are to guaranteed rewards.

Unit Filters

Units can now be filtered using tags, making large collections much easier to organize.

Visual Settings

New settings allow players to hide:

  • Visual effects
  • Minion effects
  • Damage indicators

These options can significantly improve performance during busy battles.

Leaderboard Reset

Leaderboards have been reset, with rewards distributed based on previous rankings.

Redeem Codes

Several new redeem codes were released alongside Update 1.75.

Available update codes include:

  • Update1.75
  • Ghouls
  • UnhumanLeaderSkill
  • SorryLongMaintenance
  • MonkeyPower

These codes provide useful rewards such as Gems and other progression resources. Be sure to redeem them before they expire.

Anime Squadron Update 1.75 is a solid content update for both new and returning players. The addition of Ken Kaneki, the Ghoul City Challenge, and Divine Kaneki provides a clear progression path without making the grind feel overly punishing. Combined with the improved pity system, combat stat displays, unit filters, and new Infinite Mode, the update significantly improves the overall gameplay experience.

If your goal is unlocking Divine Kaneki, focus on clearing Ghoul City Challenge consistently, completing his Divine Quest objectives, and taking advantage of the new pity changes while summoning on the featured banner.
