The latest Anime Final Quest update introduces Tusk, a brand-new Rider weapon inspired by one of the most iconic abilities in anime. If you’re thinking about adding it to your build, the biggest question is whether it’s actually strong enough to replace your current weapon or if it’s simply another fun option to collect.

After fully upgrading the weapon and testing every skill, Tusk proves to be a well-rounded choice with solid damage, easy-to-use abilities, and an impressive Awakening. While it may not completely redefine the meta, it’s definitely capable of handling both farming and boss fights.

Here’s a complete breakdown of everything Tusk offers.

Is Tusk Worth Getting?

In short, yes—especially if you’re looking for a reliable all-around weapon.

Tusk isn’t designed around flashy mechanics or difficult combos. Instead, it focuses on consistent damage, simple rotations, and a powerful Awakening that delivers excellent burst damage when you need it most.

If you’re already using one of the strongest endgame weapons with perfect traits and upgrades, the improvement may not be huge. However, for most players, Tusk is a very solid addition.

Basic Attack Damage

One pleasant surprise is Tusk’s basic attacks.

With a properly upgraded build, each basic attack deals approximately:

  • 700 Damage per hit

The attack speed feels smooth, and the range is better than expected for a melee-style weapon.

Unlike some weapons where basic attacks are only used while waiting for cooldowns, Tusk’s normal attacks remain useful throughout combat.

Barrier Breaking Barrage

Barrier Breaking Barrage is the first active skill.

Damage

  • Approximately 18,000 total damage

Cooldown

  • Around 10 seconds

The skill rapidly strikes enemies standing directly in front of you.

It’s simple to use and works well against both bosses and groups of enemies.

While it isn’t the weapon’s highest damage ability, it’s a reliable opener that fits naturally into your skill rotation.

Nail Pistol Barrage

The second skill is another multi-hit attack with slightly higher damage.

Damage

  • Approximately 20,000 total damage

Cooldown

  • Around 10 seconds

Functionally, it feels similar to Barrier Breaking Barrage but deals a bit more damage.

Since both abilities share nearly identical cooldowns, you can comfortably chain them together during almost every fight.

Nailshot Gun Explosion

Among Tusk’s standard abilities, this is arguably the strongest.

Damage

  • Approximately 23,000 total damage

Cooldown

  • Around 10 seconds

Unlike the first two barrage skills, Nailshot Gun Explosion offers better area coverage, making it much more effective when clearing groups of enemies.

Because of its larger range and higher damage, this is often the most satisfying normal skill in the weapon’s kit.

Skill Rotation

One thing that makes Tusk easy to play is its straightforward cooldown pattern.

Since every major skill has roughly the same cooldown, your rotation naturally flows like this:

  1. Barrier Breaking Barrage
  2. Nail Pistol Barrage
  3. Nailshot Gun Explosion
  4. Repeat once cooldowns refresh

This simple rotation makes the weapon beginner-friendly while still providing consistent DPS.

Awakening

The highlight of the weapon is undoubtedly its Awakening.

Once activated, your Stand launches a devastating series of attacks that deal enormous burst damage.

Awakening Damage

  • Approximately 200,000 total damage

Compared to the normal abilities, the Awakening is on a completely different level.

It’s powerful enough to melt bosses or remove huge portions of enemy health bars in a single activation.

Awakening Charge Speed

Fortunately, the Awakening doesn’t take forever to build.

Every skill contributes toward filling the Awakening meter, allowing you to activate it fairly often during longer fights.

Because of this, Tusk’s overall damage feels much stronger than the individual skill numbers might initially suggest.

Tusk Strengths

After testing the weapon, several strengths stand out immediately.

Reliable Damage

Every skill contributes meaningful damage without relying on complicated mechanics.

Easy Rotation

Since all three skills share similar cooldowns, the weapon is extremely easy to learn.

Strong Awakening

The 200,000-damage Awakening provides excellent burst potential during boss fights.

Good Basic Attacks

Basic attacks remain effective instead of feeling like filler between cooldowns.

Weaknesses

Tusk isn’t without drawbacks.

The normal skills are fairly straightforward and don’t introduce any unique mechanics compared to some of the more complex endgame weapons.

Because of this, players looking for the absolute highest damage or the flashiest gameplay may prefer other options.

Best Uses

Tusk performs well in several situations:

  • Boss fights
  • Story progression
  • Raid farming
  • General grinding
  • Group combat

Its balanced design allows it to handle almost every activity without feeling overly specialized.

Update Codes

The update also introduced several redeemable codes.

SHUMIM

Rewards:

  • 50 Weapon Lucky Spins
  • 40 Gear Lucky Spins

AURA

Rewards:

  • 75 Runes
  • 75,000 Cash

TUSKQUEST

Rewards:

  • 50 Raid Tickets

ROBLOXSTOPBULLYING

Rewards:

  • 100,000 Cash
  • 100 Runes

If the codes are still active, they’re definitely worth redeeming to help with upgrading your build and farming future content.

Tusk is exactly the kind of weapon many players enjoy using—it doesn’t rely on overly complicated mechanics, yet it still delivers reliable damage in almost every situation. The three standard skills work together smoothly, the basic attacks are surprisingly effective, and the Awakening is powerful enough to make a noticeable difference during tougher encounters.

While it may not immediately replace every top-tier weapon in the game, it offers a balanced mix of consistent damage, easy gameplay, and strong burst potential. If you’re a fan of the Rider-inspired design or simply want a dependable weapon for farming and boss fights, Tusk is absolutely worth picking up and upgrading.
