In Slayers 2, players can discover eight unique Breathing Styles, each requiring a dedicated trainer hidden across the map. Some trainers are easy to locate, while others demand exploration of challenging terrains, including climbing mountains or navigating snowy zones.

To unlock a Breathing Style, players must first achieve Level 25 and fulfill the specific requirements outlined by the respective trainer. Requirements vary by style, possibly including Demon Horns, Beast Cores, Wen, Wall Climb, or particular weapons. In addition to locating the trainer, players must complete the training questline and defeat the linked Trainee to access the abilities of the style.

Prepare by reaching the required level and gathering essential materials ahead of time to streamline the unlocking process.

Here’s a comprehensive overview of every Breathing Style trainer’s location and requirements in Slayers 2.

Breathing Style Trainer Location
Serpent Obari Between Windy Peak and Bamboo Grove
Insect Shinora On the roof of Butterfly Estate
Flame Rengu Inside a house near the red bridge at Mistfall Village
Thunder Zentaro Near bear village on a mountain route
Stone Gyorei Near a temple along the lower mountain route
Sound Tengai High cliffs of Iceveil Valley
Wind Saneri On an ice platform in the snowy region
Water Urokodaki Inside an underwater room near Bamboo Grove

Serpent Breathing trainer, Obari , can be found on a mountain between Windy Peak and Bamboo Grove . To reach him, leave the starting area and climb the mountain directly ahead. After passing a few NPCs and areas with Bandit mobs and the Zuko mini-boss, do not follow the route down towards Bamboo Grove; instead, stay left and continue climbing. Obari is located in a small open area between two peaks, ready to commence your Serpent Breathing training once you meet the prerequisites.

Flame Breathing trainer, Rengu, is located inside a house near the red bridge outside Mistfall Village. Begin your journey at Mistfall and head away from the village until reaching the long red bridge. Cross the bridge and head towards the house to find Rengu, who will initiate Flame Breathing training once you meet all requirements.

Thunder Breathing trainer, Zentaro, is situated on a mountain path close to the bear village and Bamboo Grove area. Travel to the village where bears are found and take the downward path until reaching a mountain climb location.

You must possess Wall Climb to ascend this section successfully. Once on the elevated path, continue until you come across Zentaro.

Stone Breathing trainer, Gyorei , is found near a temple on the lower mountain route close to the bear area. Instead of climbing the mountain like for Thunder Breathing, follow the lower path toward the temple to find Gyorei. Keep in mind that unlocking Stone Breathing requires specific weapons, as you must defeat the Stone Trainee to obtain an Axe or Mace before you can proceed.

Sound Breathing trainer, Tengai, is perched on the high cliffs of Iceveil Valley. head towards the snowy area and navigate to the elevated cliffs for Tengai’s location.

Wind Breathing trainer, Saneri, is located on an ice platform in the snowy biome. Start your journey at the bear area and travel toward the snow-covered region, moving through the snowy terrain until you reach the platform where Saneri is situated.

This Breathing Style can be found easily once in the region, but its material requirements are notably higher compared to other styles.

Water Breathing trainer, Urokodaki , is hidden in an underwater room near Bamboo Grove. After leaving the bear area, head toward the cliffside region to find a house on a small island below the cliff. Look for a passage beneath the cliff to access the underwater room, being cautious not to drown while swimming through the area. Eventually, you’ll locate Urokodaki after navigating the underwater passage.

The Insect Breathing trainer, Shinora, is located on the roof of the main building at Butterfly Estate. Start from Beginner Village and follow the route toward Butterfly Estate. Continue along the path, dropping down the cliff when necessary and using the surrounding boulders to help identify the correct route.

Once you reach the estate, look for the large central building. Climb onto its roof to find Shinora. Speak with her to begin the Insect Breathing progression. The available trainer information lists Level 25 as the requirement for starting this style.

Before travelling to Butterfly Estate, make sure your character has reached the required level. You should also check Shinora’s dialogue for any additional requirements presented in your current version of the game.

Flame Breathing Trainer location

The Flame Breathing trainer, Rengu, is located inside a house near the red bridge outside Mistfall Village. Start at the Mistfall Village spawn and follow the main route away from the village. Continue until you reach a long red bridge with a nearby boss spawn. Cross the bridge and look toward the house ahead. Enter the building to find Rengu, who will let you begin the Flame Breathing training when you meet the requirements.

Thunder Breathing Trainer location

The Thunder Breathing trainer, Zentaro, is located on a mountain route near the bear village and Bamboo Grove area. Begin by travelling to the village containing the bears, which you may encounter during the early progression quests. From there, follow the path downward and pass the nearby boss spawn.

Continue along the route until you reach a section that requires you to climb the mountain. This is where Wall Climb, also referred to as Climbing, becomes important. Unlock the skill through your Skill Tree before attempting the route. Once you reach the elevated section, continue along the mountain path until you find Zentaro.

Stone Breathing Trainer location

The Stone Breathing trainer, Gyorei, is located near a temple along the lower mountain route close to the bear area. Start from the bear village and follow the route used to reach the Thunder Breathing area. However, instead of climbing the mountain, remain on the lower path and continue toward the temple.

Breathing Styles are essential combat techniques in Slayers 2 unlocked via trainers. The eight styles include Serpent, Insect, Flame, Thunder, Stone, Sound, Wind, and Water.

Each style comes with distinct trainers, specific locations, and material requirements. Before starting any training, ensure you’ve reached Level 25 and gathered the necessary materials for your chosen style.

Key materials for unlocking Breathing Styles include Demon Horns and Beast Cores . The number of Demon Horns needed can range from 10 to 50 based on the style, with high-level Demons in Iceveil Valley dropping two horns per defeat. Beast Cores can be acquired from Beast Born Demons scattered around Mistfall and Harbor regions, with Serpent and Stone Breathings each needing five. Water Breathing uniquely requires 5,000 Wen and 30 Demon Horns, while Stone Breathing mandates defeating specific trainees for an Axe and Mace. Check all requirements and collect materials beforehand to avoid multiple trips across the map for missed items.

After meeting level and material requirements, speak to the relevant trainer to commence the training questline. Training comprises various tasks, including meditation, push-ups, and specific aim training, with each style having its unique activities.

Upon finishing the tasks, players must defeat the respective Trainee to complete the training. Once the final objective is achieved, the Breathing Style unlocks in the menu, where players can access their Skill Tree with M and spend Skill Points on new abilities.
