Guild leaders can create their own roles and assign them to members.
The update allows you to create custom ranks such as:

- Commander
- Marshall
- Knight

You aren’t restricted to these names, either. Guild leaders can customize their hierarchy however they want.
Guild members also get a banner displayed behind their character, giving the guild a more noticeable identity.
This makes the system more than just a basic clan menu, especially if you plan on playing regularly with the same group of players.
The New Rapier Knight Unit
The update adds the Rapier Knight, currently the new unit introduced with this update.
She’s also notable for being the first female unit seen in the game so far.

So if you’re planning to summon specifically for this unit, be prepared for some potentially frustrating RNG.
What Is the Rapier Knight Good For?
The Rapier Knight appears to be designed around mobility and flanking rather than simply standing in the frontline.
Her high speed allows her to move around the battlefield quickly, making her potentially useful for:
- Flanking enemy formations
- Reaching enemy backlines
- Attacking vulnerable units
- Capturing objectives
- Moving around defensive formations
She doesn’t appear to deal block damage, so she isn’t necessarily the ideal choice for breaking heavily defended positions.

- Attack exposed units.
- Capture objectives while enemies are distracted.
- Retreat before getting surrounded.
Because of this, players may need some practice before getting the most out of her.
New Ranked Mode
The update also introduces Ranked Mode, giving players a dedicated competitive mode.
Ranked matches are played as 6v6 battles.
This means teamwork becomes significantly more important than in a normal match.
Ranked Matchmaking
One of the most useful additions isn’t actually the visible rank system itself.

For example, one player might try to capture an objective while the rest of the team is fighting somewhere else. That can leave the player completely exposed.
The same problem can happen when defending.
If everyone moves away from an important capture point, the enemy can take it almost uncontested.

If you’re serious about ranked, communication is extremely valuable.
A coordinated group can:

- Time charges
- Protect ranged units
- Flank enemies

Capturing and defending objectives can determine the outcome of a match, so don’t ignore an objective just because there’s a battle happening somewhere else.
Use Flanking Units Carefully
Fast units such as the Rapier Knight can be useful for getting around enemy defenses.
However, don’t throw them into the enemy army without an escape plan.
Protect Your Cavalry
Cavalry can be extremely useful, but poorly timed charges can result in them being wiped out quickly.
Make sure you have enough room to maneuver before charging.

A synchronized attack is much stronger than six players attacking six different targets.
If possible, wait for your team before making a major offensive move.
