Trying to get Rainbow Drilla in Steal an Egg? Yeah, this one is a little more annoying than simply walking around the map and waiting for the right pet to show up.

Rainbow Drilla is a Cosmic pet that makes 137M/s, but the pet itself isn’t what you need to hunt down first. The real challenge is getting the Limited Drill Egg, because this egg is tied to the game’s weekly Admin Abuse event.

You’ll need to jump into the Monster Obby, farm as many wins as possible, and finish in the top three on the leaderboard. Those three players receive the Limited Drill Egg, which can then be hatched for a chance at Rainbow Drilla.

So, if you’re planning to compete for it, here’s exactly what you need to know.

How to Get Rainbow Drilla in Steal an Egg

You cannot normally find Rainbow Drilla by exploring one of the game’s biomes. Instead, you need to earn the Limited Drill Egg during the Monster Obby event.

The basic process is:

  1. Join a public Steal an Egg server before Admin Abuse begins.
  2. Try to get into the server around 15–20 minutes early.
  3. Wait for the admin to activate the Monster Obby.
  4. Enter the Monster Obby portal as soon as it appears.
  5. Complete the course to earn a win.
  6. Immediately start another run.
  7. Keep repeating the course for the rest of the event.
  8. Finish in the top three on the leaderboard.
  9. Claim the Limited Drill Egg.
  10. Hatch the egg to try to get Rainbow Drilla.

The important thing here is that you aren’t competing for the fastest single completion. You’re trying to build the highest total win count before the event ends.

That means spending time in your garden, checking your inventory, or doing anything else between runs is basically wasting time.

When Does the Monster Obby Appear?

The Monster Obby is part of the weekly Admin Abuse event, so you can’t simply enter it whenever you feel like farming.

The event is normally held on Saturday, shortly before the weekly update. Admin Abuse usually lasts around 30–60 minutes, although the exact schedule can change.

The usual times are:

Region Time
UTC 3:00 PM
US Pacific 8:00 AM
US Central 10:00 AM
US Eastern 11:00 AM
UK 4:00 PM
Central Europe 5:00 PM
India 8:30 PM
East Australia 1:00 AM Sunday

These times shouldn’t be treated as permanent. Admin Abuse schedules can change, so check the game’s official announcements before the event if you’re seriously trying to compete.

The most recent session referenced in the source information was August 29, 2026, which took place alongside the Titan Temple update.

How the Monster Obby Leaderboard Works

This is where a lot of players can get confused.

The Monster Obby isn’t just about finishing the course once. Each successful completion gives you a win, and those wins are added to your leaderboard total.

So if Player A completes the course 100 times and Player B completes it 80 times, Player A has the advantage even if Player B had a faster individual run.

That’s why repetition is everything.

During the latest session mentioned in the provided information, the player in first place reached around 8.5K wins. That’s an enormous number and gives you a pretty good idea of how aggressively you’ll need to farm if the server is full of experienced players.

At the end of the event:

  • 1st place: Limited Drill Egg
  • 2nd place: Limited Drill Egg
  • 3rd place: Limited Drill Egg
  • 4th place and below: No Limited Drill Egg from this reward track

So yes, simply participating isn’t enough. You need to push yourself into that top-three cutoff.

How to Farm Monster Obby Wins Faster

Once the Monster Obby opens, treat it like a timed grind.

Finish your run and immediately start another one.

Don’t hang around checking your pets or messing with your inventory between attempts. Even a few seconds lost on every run can add up massively over the course of the event.

The course itself has a fiery temple-like design with lava sections and different jumps. Falling doesn’t completely end your attempt, but it can cost you valuable time.

This means learning the course is a big advantage. After several runs, you should know which jumps are coming and where you can move more aggressively.

There’s also no need to spend ages trying to make one run absolutely perfect. A slightly slower successful run is still another win on the leaderboard.

Consistency + repetition is what you’re after.

Watch Out for the Speed Nerf

There’s another issue that can completely ruin your runs: a speed nerf can sometimes stick to your character when the event loads.

If your character suddenly feels much slower than everyone else, don’t keep blaming yourself for missing jumps.

Some sections that are normally easy can become extremely difficult when the speed issue is active.

If you notice that other players are clearing jumps easily while your character consistently falls short, try leaving and rejoining the server.

A fresh character load can fix the problem.

Of course, rejoining also costs you time, so don’t leave the server over one bad jump. If your character is clearly moving slower than normal and the issue is affecting multiple attempts, though, it’s probably better to fix it early.

How to Get the Limited Drill Egg

Your main goal during the event is the top-three leaderboard position.

If you manage to finish in the top three when the Monster Obby event ends, you’ll receive the Limited Drill Egg.

Make sure you have room for the reward and don’t leave the event thinking you still need to do something else. The egg is the reward for reaching that leaderboard position.

After you’ve secured it, the next step is simply to hatch it.

How to Hatch the Limited Drill Egg

Once you’ve received your Limited Drill Egg, use the normal egg-hatching process.

Complete the required care tasks and eventually the egg will hatch into a pet from its pool.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get Rainbow Drilla.

After hatching it, you can also check your Pet Index to make sure Rainbow Drilla has been added to your collection.

The difficult part of this entire process is really getting the egg. Once the Limited Drill Egg is in your inventory, there’s no longer an Admin Abuse leaderboard you need to worry about.

Rainbow Drilla Stats

Rainbow Drilla is a Cosmic pet with an income rate of:

137M/s

It doesn’t have a normal biome spawn location. Its availability is tied to the Limited Drill Egg, which is why players have to compete in the Monster Obby to get access to it.

For some context, the other pets associated with the same Admin Abuse period include:

Pet Rarity Income
Rainbow Drilla Cosmic 137M/s
Cosmic Mantaris Cosmic 74M/s
Monstrous T-Rex Secret 150M/s
Secret Mutant Shark Secret 401M/s
Bladehide Mythic 1.6M/s

Rainbow Drilla isn’t the highest-income pet among these, but its limited method of acquisition makes it a much more interesting collectible.

Rainbow Drilla vs Rainbow Mutation

Don’t let the name confuse you here.

Rainbow Drilla is the name of the pet. It does not mean that the pet automatically has the Rainbow mutation.

The Rainbow mutation is a separate effect that can be applied to pets and increases their income by 2.5x.

So, yes, you can potentially have a Rainbow-mutated Rainbow Drilla.

In that case:

  • Rainbow Drilla = the pet’s name
  • Rainbow mutation = the mutation applied to the pet

They’re two completely separate things.

Is Rainbow Drilla Worth Getting?

If you’re a collector, I’d definitely say Rainbow Drilla is worth trying for. A limited Cosmic pet producing 137M/s isn’t something you’ll be able to casually pick up whenever you want.

The bigger problem is getting the Limited Drill Egg.

Only the top three players on the Monster Obby leaderboard receive it, and the competition can be intense. If you’re entering a busy server where players are already farming thousands of wins, you’ll need to stay on the course for practically the entire event.

If you really want Rainbow Drilla, preparation matters more than anything.

Join early, know when Admin Abuse starts, get into the Monster Obby immediately, and keep running it.

Rainbow Drilla Obby Tips

If you’re planning to seriously compete for the egg, keep these points in mind:

  • Join the server 15–20 minutes before Admin Abuse.
  • Enter the Monster Obby as soon as it becomes available.
  • Don’t waste time between runs.
  • Learn the course instead of trying to improvise every jump.
  • Watch for the speed nerf affecting your character.
  • Rejoin if the speed issue is clearly preventing you from completing jumps.
  • Focus on your total win count, not just one fast run.
  • Keep running until the event ends.
  • Check your final leaderboard position before assuming you’ve secured the egg.

One important thing: don’t get discouraged if your first few runs aren’t perfect. The entire point is repetition. Once you’ve learned the route, you’ll naturally become faster and more consistent.

Getting Rainbow Drilla in Steal an Egg is all about the Limited Drill Egg.

You need to:

Join Admin Abuse → Enter Monster Obby → Farm wins → Finish Top 3 → Get Limited Drill Egg → Hatch it → Rainbow Drilla

The pet itself is Cosmic rarity and produces 137M/s.

The hardest part is securing that top-three position. Since the leaderboard counts your total Monster Obby wins, don’t treat it like a one-time race. Get into the course as quickly as possible and keep repeating runs for the entire event.

And if you see your character moving noticeably slower than everyone else, check for the speed nerf before wasting dozens of attempts on jumps that suddenly feel impossible.
