Runaways has a huge collection of items to discover, steal, sell, or use. With 97 different items currently available, it can be difficult to know what is actually worth carrying and what is better left behind.
The important thing to remember is that not every item has the same purpose. Electronics, valuables, cash, and large electronics are your main targets when you’re robbing locations, while food and medical items can help you survive. Junk, on the other hand, usually isn’t worth taking up precious inventory space.
Below, you’ll find the complete item list along with each item’s category, value, and where you can find it.

If you’re planning longer robbery runs, upgrading your backpack is particularly useful because it lets you carry more loot before returning to sell it.
Big Electronics
These are some of the better items to look for when you’re searching houses and apartments. Because they’re large, you’ll need to transport them by car.
| Item | Sell Value | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Gramophone | $3,000 | Randomly spawns around houses and apartment buildings |
| Electric Guitar | $1,300 | Randomly spawns around houses and apartments |
| Radio | $900 | Found inside houses and apartments |
| Computer | $550 | Randomly spawns inside houses and buildings |
| Console | $400 | Randomly spawns inside homes and apartments |
| TV | $300 | Randomly appears around houses and apartments |
The Gramophone is the standout here, selling for $3,000. If you spot one during a robbery, it’s definitely worth considering.
Craftable Items
| Item | Sell Value | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Turret | $1,250 | Found in high-security areas such as the prison |
| Propane Tank | $100 | Found around gas stations, garages, and outside |
| Floodlight | $80 | Usually found in home garages |
| Metal Sheet | $60 | Randomly found outdoors |
| Plank | $30 | Found in many open areas |
The Turret is by far the most valuable item in this category. It can be found in high-security areas, including the prison.
Cash Items
Cash items are different from normal loot because collecting them adds the money directly to your account.
| Item | Value | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Duffle Bag | $1,000 | Open large safes inside banks |
| Band | $500 | Found inside bank safes |
| Roll of Cash | $250 | Small safes and ATMs |
| Bill Stack | $100 | Small safes, ATMs, and cash registers |
| Bill | $50 | Bank counters, homes, ATMs, and cash registers |
| Coin Stack | $25 | Homes, bank counters, and gas stations |
| Coin | $10 | Found virtually anywhere |
If you’re already inside a bank, don’t forget to check the safes. The Duffle Bag and Band provide considerably more money than the smaller cash drops.
Electronics
These are smaller items that can be equipped and carried normally.
| Item | Sell Value | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
| Headset | $400 | Houses and apartments |
| Phone | $400 | Houses and apartment buildings |
| Laptop | $350 | Houses and apartments |
| Pocket Console | $310 | Houses and apartments |
| Tablet | $250 | Houses and apartments |
These are good secondary targets when you’re searching residential buildings and don’t have access to higher-value loot.
Food
Food can restore HP, and some consumables can also provide additional energy.
| Item | Sell Value | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
| Banana | $30 | Gas stations and SlopMart |
| Apple | $28 | Gas stations and SlopMart |
| Blue Cow | $25 | Gas stations and SlopMart |
| Burger | $20 | Gas stations and SlopMart |
| Sandwich | $20 | Gas stations and SlopMart |
| Drip | $15 | Gas stations and stores |
| Hotdog | $15 | Gas stations and SlopMart |
| Chonks | $12 | Gas stations and stores |
| 8 Hop | $10 | Gas stations and stores |
| Corny | $10 | Gas stations and stores |
Food isn’t usually something you should prioritize for profit. It’s much more useful when you need healing or extra energy during a run.
Household Items
Most household items aren’t particularly valuable, so don’t fill your inventory with them unless you’re specifically looking for something.
| Item | Sell Value | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
| Pinguin Plushy | $567 | Houses and apartments |
| Dumbbell | $35 | Houses and apartments |
| Toaster | $25 | Houses and apartments |
| Basketball | $15 | Houses and apartments |
| Watering Can | $12 | Outside houses and apartments |
| Box | $10 | Houses and apartments |
| Mug | $5 | Houses and apartments |
The Pinguin Plushy is the obvious exception. At $567, it’s considerably more valuable than the other household items.
Junk Items
This is the category where you should be picky.
| Item | Sell Value | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Life Buoy | $100 | Found almost anywhere |
| Bucket | $15 | Found indoors and outdoors |
| Trash Bag | $10 | Near dumpsters and residential areas |
| Plunger | $8 | Found virtually everywhere |
| Concrete Block | $5 | Found inside and outside structures |
Although the Life Buoy technically sells for $100, junk items generally aren’t worth taking if you’re running out of inventory space.
Your inventory slots are better spent on electronics, valuables, cash, or other high-value loot.
Medical Items
Medical supplies are useful for keeping yourself alive during dangerous runs.
| Item | Sell Value | Cost | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Medic Pack | $200 | $1,500 | Pawn Shop or gas stations |
| Medic Bag | $50 | $750 | Pawn Shop or gas stations |
| Bandage | $5 | $400 | Pawn Shop, shops, and gas stations |
Don’t think of these as ordinary loot. Their main purpose is keeping your HP topped up while you’re out stealing.
Paintings
Paintings are valuable but bulky, so you’ll need a vehicle to transport them.
| Item | Sell Value | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
| Night Sky Painting | $310 | Homes |
| Neoplast Painting | $300 | Houses and apartments |
| Pearl Painting | $300 | Homes |
| Weird Dame Painting | $250 | Homes |
These are decent targets when you’re already inside a house and have room in your vehicle.
Tools
| Item | Sell Value | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
| Tool Box | $120 | Car parks, parks, and yards |
| Drill | $80 | Car parks, yards, and near billboards |
| Paint Can | $60 | Home garages |
Tools aren’t the highest-value loot, but they’re worth grabbing when there isn’t anything better nearby.

This is one of the most important categories to prioritize when you’re robbing houses.

If you’re trying to make money quickly, valuables should be one of your main priorities. The rarest items can be worth thousands, with the Cat Statue currently reaching $1,800.
Vehicle Parts
These items are large enough that you’ll need your vehicle to transport them.
| Item | Sell Value | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
| Tire Rim | $225 | Garages and farmsteads |
| Rubber Tire | $125 | Farmsteads, garages, and dumpsters |

Best Items to Prioritize in Runaways
If your goal is to maximize the money you make from each robbery, don’t simply pick up everything you see.
I’d prioritize your inventory roughly like this:
1. Rare valuables
Cat Statue, King Crown, Statue Thinker, Diamond Ring, Diamond, and other high-value jewelry should be near the top of your list.
2. Big electronics
The Gramophone is especially valuable at $3,000, while the Electric Guitar and Radio are also worth carrying out.
3. Cash from safes and ATMs
Banks are especially attractive because large safes can contain Duffle Bags, Bands, and other valuable cash drops.
4. Smaller electronics
Headsets, Phones, Laptops, and Pocket Consoles are good fillers when you still have inventory space.
5. Paintings
They’re worthwhile if you have a vehicle ready to transport them.
6. Everything else
Food, tools, household items, and junk should generally come after the more valuable loot.
Items You Should Usually Leave Behind
If your backpack is filling up, don’t be afraid to leave low-value items behind.
Mug ($5), Concrete Block ($5), Plunger ($8), Box ($10), Coin ($10), Corny ($10), and 8 Hop ($10) aren’t worth sacrificing a valuable inventory slot for.
The same applies to most household and junk items. The one major household exception is the Pinguin Plushy, which sells for a surprisingly good $567.
Quick Looting Strategy
For a profitable run, I’d start by checking houses and apartments for valuables and electronics. If you find a high-value item, grab it first rather than filling your inventory with cheap household objects.
For gas stations and stores, look for food if you need it, but prioritize valuable loot and cash.
And whenever you’re near a bank, definitely check the safes and cash areas. That’s where some of the biggest cash drops can come from.
The biggest mistake new players can make in Runaways is assuming that every item is worth picking up. Inventory space is valuable, so focus on loot that gives you the most money per slot and leave the junk behind.
