The latest Roblox Jailbreak update has arrived, bringing Season 33: Jurassic, two new vehicles, a revamped Tier 1 Safe, a new 8 Billion Visits code, limited cosmetics, and several useful customization options.

Season 33 is also a little different from previous seasons because it is expected to be the last season for a while, with future seasons being paused while regular Jailbreak updates continue.

Here is everything you need to know about the new update.

Jailbreak Season 33 Jurassic Guide: Boulder, Velociraptor

Season 33 is themed around dinosaurs and introduces the Velociraptor as its Level 10 vehicle.

The season includes several dinosaur-themed cosmetics that can be unlocked while progressing through the season.

Season 33 Rewards

The rewards shown in the update include:

  • Level 2: Bone Claw Spoiler
  • Level 3: Amber Disc Rims
  • Level 4: 3D Rex Wall Item
  • Level 5: Extinction Event Drift
  • Level 6: Marrow Rims
  • Level 7: Ankylosaurus Spoiler
  • Level 8: Caveman Vehicle Skin
  • Level 9: Dino Egg Tires
  • Level 10: Velociraptor
  • Top 2% Reward: Extinction Rims

The Extinction Rims also feature a special-looking effect with fire particles, making them one of the more interesting rewards for players competing for the top percentage.

How to Get the Velociraptor

The Velociraptor is the Level 10 reward for Season 33.

It has two seats, making it more useful for players who want to drive around with another player.

The vehicle also has a distinctive dinosaur-inspired design that fits the Jurassic theme of the season.

Season Rewards Are Being Paused

One of the biggest parts of this update isn’t actually a new item.

According to the information discussed in the video, Jailbreak seasons are being paused after Season 33.

This doesn’t mean Jailbreak itself is stopping development. Regular updates are expected to continue, including things such as limited vehicles and quality-of-life improvements.

The main reason for the pause is the amount of work required to create each season.

Season vehicles require significant work involving:

  • Vehicle rigging
  • Importing vehicles
  • Preparing rewards
  • Selecting winning submissions
  • Managing the season system

As the game has now reached its 33rd season, the developer has decided to take a break from the seasonal system.

There is currently no confirmed date for when seasons might return.

New Tier 1 Safe

A major addition in this update is the Tier 1 Safe revamp.

The revamped safe contains a new limited vehicle called the Boulder.

The Boulder was created by Dr. Radium and is essentially a giant rolling rock.

Several other items were also added to the safe, including contributions from the Jailbreak community.

Boulder Safe Rewards

The new Tier 1 Safe includes items such as:

  • Boulder
  • Vertebrae Tires
  • Mammoth Bed
  • Mammoth Head
  • Prehistoric
  • Wildflower
  • Beating Heart
  • Other Jurassic-themed cosmetics

The Boulder has a 3% chance of being obtained from the Tier 1 Safe, making it the Epic reward of the new safe.

How Much Does the Boulder Cost?

Each Tier 1 Safe costs $5,000.

The video opened several safes while trying to obtain the Boulder and eventually managed to get it after spending approximately $73,000, although refunds from duplicate items reduced the effective cost afterward.

The exact amount you’ll need will depend entirely on your luck.

Boulder Vehicle Showcase

The Boulder is one of the strangest vehicles added to Jailbreak.

Rather than being a conventional car, it’s essentially a giant rock that you can drive.

It is a limited vehicle and appears to have only one seat.

Despite its enormous appearance, it isn’t particularly slow.

With Engine Level 5, the Boulder reaches roughly 163 MPH in the footage.

That isn’t enough to make it one of Jailbreak’s fastest vehicles, but it’s considerably quicker than you might expect from a giant rolling rock.

The vehicle is also surprisingly tall. Its size can make driving through tunnels and other low areas somewhat awkward.

Can You Customize the Boulder?

Yes.

The Boulder can be customized with different vehicle textures.

The footage shows several textures working with the vehicle, including:

  • Volcano
  • Lava
  • Carbon Fire
  • Aquatic
  • None

The Carbon Fire texture in particular gives the Boulder a completely different appearance.

New 8 Billion Visits Code

Jailbreak recently reached 8 billion visits, and there is a new code available to celebrate the milestone.

Code: 8billion

Redeeming the code gives you:

$18,888

This is especially useful if you’re trying to save up for the new Tier 1 Safe or other expensive items.

To redeem it, visit an ATM, enter the code, and redeem it.

8 Billion Visits Limited Spoiler

The update also adds a special 8 Billion Visits limited spoiler.

The spoiler costs:

$88,888

It features the number 8 throughout its design.

The important part is that this spoiler is limited. According to the update, it will leave the shop when Jailbreak reaches 9 billion visits.

So if you’re collecting limited items, you’ll want to purchase it before that milestone is reached.

New Mobile UI Controls

One of the most useful quality-of-life additions is the improved mobile UI customization.

Mobile players can now customize the placement of their controls to better suit their individual setup.

This is particularly useful because Jailbreak has many controls that can be difficult to manage on a touchscreen.

Being able to move the controls around should make the game considerably more comfortable to play on mobile devices.

Custom Keybinds for PC Players

Desktop players also received a useful customization feature.

You can now change certain keybinds to suit your preferred controls.

For example, if you don’t want to use the default key for sprinting, you can assign another key instead.

There is also an option to reset the controls back to the standard Roblox keybinds.

Be careful when assigning keys, though, because overlapping different actions could potentially make your controls confusing.

Miles Per Hour or Kilometers Per Hour

Another small but welcome setting lets players change the game’s speed display from MPH to KM/H.

This is particularly useful for players who are more familiar with kilometers per hour.

You can change the setting through the game’s options instead of having to mentally convert vehicle speeds.
