The Fireworks Event Part 2 has introduced another limited-time creature to Creatures of Sonaria, and this time players can unlock Smoglett by completing a short list of event challenges. While none of the objectives are particularly difficult on their own, a few of them depend on weather events and exploration, which means they can take a little patience.
If you’re trying to add Smoglett to your collection before the event ends, this guide covers every task you need to complete and a few tips to finish them as quickly as possible.
Creatures of Sonaria Smoglett Guide – Fireworks Event Part 2
To unlock Smoglett, you’ll need to complete four event objectives during the Fireworks Event Part 2.
Once every task is finished, you’ll be able to claim the creature as your reward.
Task 1 – Grow a Tier 2 (or Higher) Glider Species to Age 200 Twice
Your first objective is to:
- Use a Tier 2 or higher Glider species
- Grow it to Age 200
- Repeat the process twice
Not every creature counts for this challenge, so make sure you’re using a species that belongs to the Glider movement class before you begin.
Tips for completing this task
- Stay in safer areas to avoid unnecessary fights.
- Keep your creature alive instead of constantly restarting.
- If possible, play on quieter servers where you’re less likely to be attacked.
Since you need to reach Age 200 two separate times, survival is much more important than rushing.
Task 2 – Experience the Crackling Sky Weather Twice
The second challenge requires you to witness the Crackling Sky weather event two times.
This objective depends entirely on the game’s weather cycle, so there isn’t a way to force it to happen.
How to complete it faster
- Stay in-game instead of server hopping too often.
- Watch for weather announcements.
- Count both appearances, as you need to experience the event twice before the objective completes.
Patience is the key for this challenge.
Task 3 – Spin the Galaxy Explorer Gacha Twice
Next, you’ll need to use the Galaxy Explorer Gacha a total of two times.
Simply head to the appropriate Gacha machine and spend the required currency to complete your spins.
The rewards you receive don’t matter—the challenge only tracks the number of spins.
Task 4 – Launch 20 Fireworks
The final objective is launching 20 Fireworks.
Rather than buying them directly, fireworks are scattered throughout the event map.
To find them:
- Explore different areas of the map.
- Use your creature’s Sniff ability to reveal nearby fireworks.
- Collect them and launch them until you’ve reached a total of 20.
If you’re actively exploring while completing the other objectives, you’ll naturally find plenty along the way.
Fireworks Can Also Spawn During Sparkling Sunset Weather
One helpful detail many players overlook is that Fireworks also appear during the Sparkling Sunset weather event.
If you notice this weather starting, it’s a great opportunity to explore the map and gather more fireworks for your collection.
Using your Sniff ability during this weather can make locating fireworks much easier.

Tips to Unlock Smoglett Faster
If you want to finish the event as efficiently as possible, try this order:
- Start by raising your Tier 2 (or higher) Glider creature.
- While ageing your creature, keep an eye out for Crackling Sky weather.
- Explore regularly and use Sniff to collect fireworks whenever you find them.
- Visit the Galaxy Explorer Gacha and complete your two spins.
- Launch your collected fireworks until you reach the required total of 20.
Working on multiple objectives at the same time will save you a lot of waiting.
Smoglett is one of the featured rewards in Creatures of Sonaria’s Fireworks Event Part 2, and fortunately, earning it is more about consistency than difficulty. The only objectives that may slow you down are the weather-related challenges, since you’ll need to wait for the right conditions to appear.
As long as you keep exploring, use your Sniff ability to track down fireworks, and work on ageing your Glider species while waiting for the weather events, you’ll gradually tick off every requirement and unlock Smoglett before the event comes to an end.
