The latest Fisch update adds a brand-new progression system for the Wind Elemental Rod, giving players the ability to master all four elemental forms and eventually unlock Omni Elemental Mode.
At first glance, it looks a little confusing because there are several separate masteries before the final quest even appears. If you’re wondering how everything works, this guide walks you through every step.
Fisch Wind Elemental Rod Mastery Guide – Omni Elemental Mode
Wind Elemental Mastery is a new mastery path for the Wind Elemental Rod.
Instead of unlocking one passive upgrade, you’ll gradually unlock four different elemental modes before combining them into a final mastery called Omni Elemental Mode.
Each element has its own progression and mutation effect.
How to Unlock the Four Elements
As you progress through Wind Elemental Mastery, you’ll unlock four elemental forms:
- Wind
- Earth
- Fire
- Water
Each mode changes the rod’s visual effects and grants its own elemental mutation.
Rather than being direct stat upgrades, these modes mainly focus on elemental mutations and cosmetic effects.
Wind Element Mastery
The first mastery requires catching 50 Breeze Fish.
Once completed, you’ll unlock the basic Wind Element.
This serves as the starting point for the entire mastery progression.
Earth Element
After finishing Wind, you’ll gain access to the Earth Element.
Completing this mastery unlocks another elemental mutation that can be swapped onto the Wind Elemental Rod.
Fire Element
The Fire Element works similarly.
After completing its objectives, you’ll unlock another elemental mode with its own mutation and visual effects.
Water Element
The final standard mastery is Water.
Once all four elements have been completed, the game unlocks the final mastery quest.
How to Unlock Omni Elemental Mode
Completing the four individual elements isn’t the end.
To obtain Omni Elemental Mode, you’ll need to sacrifice four special creatures at the crystals located on the Northern Expedition Summit.
You’ll need:
- Breeze Wyvern
- Terra Flower Guardian
- Ignited Magma Leviathan
- Stormy Blue Whale
Each creature must be offered to its corresponding crystal before the final reward becomes available.
Where to Find Each Required Creature
Breeze Wyvern
Catch or obtain the Breeze Wyvern before bringing it to the summit crystal.
Terra Flower Guardian
The Terra Flower Guardian can appear from Flower events.
Opening flowers gives you a chance of spawning the guardian, so you’ll likely need to participate in several flower events before finding one.
Ignited Magma Leviathan
The Ignited Magma Leviathan is found in the Mariana’s Veil area.
It’s one of the rarer requirements for the mastery, so expect to spend some time farming.
Stormy Blue Whale
The Stormy Blue Whale comes from the new Blue Whale Migration event.
You’ll need to participate in this migration until you successfully catch the required whale.
Offering the Four Creatures
After collecting every required creature:
- Travel to the Northern Expedition Summit.
- Locate the four elemental crystals.
- Sacrifice each creature at its matching crystal.
- Once all four have been accepted, Omni Elemental Mode unlocks.
If one creature doesn’t register, double-check that you’re using the correct elemental version before trying again.
What Does Omni Elemental Mode Do?
After unlocking Omni Elemental Mode, the Wind Elemental Rod combines all four elemental visual effects into one form.
Instead of switching between individual elements, the rod now displays all four together.
The biggest gameplay benefit is that it allows the rod to apply all four elemental mutations rather than only one.
Other Important Update Changes
Besides Wind Elemental Mastery, this update also includes several balance improvements across Fisch.
