The latest update for Slap Battles has added a brand-new glove, fresh mastery content, balance changes, and even a couple of possible new codes for players to try. If you have just logged in after the update and feel confused about what changed, don’t worry because this guide will walk you through everything in simple terms.
This update is mainly focused on the new Offense Glove and the new Mace Glove Mastery system, but there are also some smaller gameplay adjustments that players should know about before jumping back into matches.
How to Get the Offense Glove
The biggest addition in this update is the brand-new Offense Glove. Thankfully, this one is much easier to unlock compared to some of the more difficult gloves in the game.
To get the Offense Glove, you only need:
- 4,500 Slaps
That means you do not need to complete some crazy badge challenge or survive a long secret quest. If you already play regularly, you may already have enough slaps sitting in your account.
Once unlocked, the glove comes with:
- Power: 51
- Speed: 14
- Ability Key: E
The glove is located among the lower slap requirement gloves, although finding it can still take a little time because Slap Battles now has a massive number of gloves on the selection wall.
Offense Glove Ability Explained
The special ability of the Offense Glove is called Attack Orb.
When you press E, the glove summons a floating orb near your character. Any enemy player who moves into the orb’s range will automatically get targeted and attacked. The orb stays active for a short period before disappearing.
The ability feels surprisingly strong in crowded fights because players often rush into range without realizing the orb is waiting for them. It works especially well near edges or chaotic combat zones where people are already distracted.
A few useful tips for beginners:
- Try using the orb near narrow paths where enemies are forced to walk close to it.
- The glove performs best in busy servers because more players means more chances for the orb to attack.
- You should not rely only on the orb. Use normal slaps together with the ability for better pressure.
- The orb disappears after a short time, so timing matters more than simply placing it randomly.
Overall, the Offense Glove feels balanced but still fun to use. It is not completely overpowered, but it definitely has strong potential in the right situations.
Mace Glove Mastery Explained
The second major feature added in this update is the new mastery progression for the Mace Glove.
If you enjoy using Mace, this update gives you extra long-term goals to grind for. The mastery system includes several different challenges that need to be completed before unlocking the upgraded passive bonuses.
Here are the mastery objectives players need to complete:
Hit 5 Players in a Row
You must successfully hit five players consecutively without your mace slowing down. This challenge is mostly about maintaining momentum and accuracy.
Hit 100 Players
This one is more straightforward. You simply need to land hits on 100 different players over time.
Land 600 Total Mace Hits
This is the main grinding challenge. You will need to consistently use Mace in matches and rack up successful attacks.
Obliterate 250 Players
In simple terms, this means defeating or eliminating 250 players while using the glove.
Mace Mastery Rewards
After completing the mastery objectives, players unlock several new bonuses for the Mace Glove.
These include:
- Momentum Transfer Ability
- Faster swings at maximum charge
- Extra power on headshots
- A forward launch movement effect
The forward launch mechanic especially sounds useful because it can help aggressive players close gaps much faster during fights.
If you already main Mace, this mastery system gives the glove much more depth than before.
New Slap Battles Codes
The video also mentioned two possible codes players can test:
MACEMASTERYOFFENSE
Keep in mind that codes in Slap Battles sometimes expire quickly, so they may not work forever. It is still worth trying both inside the game’s code menu because free rewards are always helpful.
Other Balance Changes in the Update
Besides the new glove and mastery system, the developers also included several balance changes.
One confirmed adjustment is:
- Mega Rock cooldown increased by 3 seconds
There were additional balance tweaks shown during the update notes as well. Most of these changes seem focused on keeping older gloves balanced now that more powerful abilities continue getting added into the game.
Glove Game Mode Leaving Soon
One important thing many players may miss is that the Glove Game mode is only staying for another week.
So if you still need rewards, badges, or limited content from that mode, this is probably your final chance to finish everything before it disappears.
