Two brand-new stands were added to Bridger Western, and honestly both of them are weird in the best way possible. One of them looks completely broken for movement and combos, while the other might actually become meta just because of how annoying it can be to fight against.
Here’s a full breakdown of both stands and what they actually do.
Khnum Guide
The first stand shown was Khnum.
Right away, the stand looks more focused on changing your appearance and body rather than direct combat damage.
As soon as the ability gets used, your character’s body changes size and appearance completely.
At one point the user became way smaller than normal, and then later turned absolutely massive. The skin color also changed randomly during the transformations.
So from what it looks like right now:
- Khnum can shrink your character.
- Khnum can enlarge your character.
- Appearance changes seem randomized.
- The size differences are pretty huge.
Honestly, the small form might end up being the real meta here.
If players can constantly shrink themselves during fights, they’re probably going to become way harder to hit, especially in gunfights or close-range combat. Tiny hitboxes in games like this are always annoying to deal with.
The giant form looks funny, but the smaller form definitely feels like the stronger option gameplay-wise.
Right now, the stand mostly looks like a utility and trolling stand, but people are probably going to figure out some really annoying strategies with it pretty fast.
OH LONESOME ME Guide
The second stand shown was Oh Lonesome Me, which is based on Mountain Tim’s stand.
This one honestly looks insane.
The stand seems completely focused around ropes, body splitting, mobility, and combo setups.
As soon as the abilities started getting used, it immediately looked way more technical than Khnum.
Rope and Limb Mechanics
One of the first things shown was the ability to create rope-linked body parts.
The user could basically separate limbs while still controlling movement through connected ropes.
You can even shoot while using the ability, which means you’re not defenseless while setting things up.
Then things got even crazier.
Pressing R Adds More Limbs
Using the R move adds extra limbs connected through ropes.
The weird part is that it seems to remove limbs from your main body while doing it. So the stand is basically redistributing parts of your body into separate rope-connected sections.
Visually, it looks completely insane.
Rope Extension Move
Pressing T extends the rope length.
This gives you much more reach and mobility with the separated body parts, making it look like you can control huge areas around you.
The longer ropes also make the stand look much better for movement and combo setups.
Combo Potential
One of the showcased attacks launched the enemy and immediately made people realize how dangerous this stand could become in PvP.
The reactions during the showcase pretty much said it all.
This thing looks like it’s going to be extremely strong for combos.
Being able to:
- separate limbs
- extend ropes
- attack from strange angles
- continue shooting while using abilities
makes the stand look very unpredictable to fight against.
And apparently there were still more moves not even fully shown yet.
Out of the two new stands, Oh Lonesome Me definitely looks like the more complex and dangerous one right now.
Khnum feels more like a fun transformation and hitbox manipulation stand, while Oh Lonesome Me looks like something people are going to master for movement tech and combo chains.
The rope mechanics alone already make it one of the weirdest stands currently in the game, and honestly probably one of the coolest visually too.
