The long-awaited Guild system has finally landed in Wittle Defender, and it brings a whole new layer of progression, teamwork, and strategy. Whether you’re planning to create your own guild or join an existing one, here’s everything you need to understand—from joining mechanics to boss fights, rewards, and leveling up.

Wittle Defender Guilds Guide: Everything You Need to Know

1. Cross-Server Guilds and the 14-Day Wait Rule

One of the most important things to understand upfront:

  • If you’re trying to join a guild on a different server, you must wait 14 days before the system allows it.
  • During this time, you might see a “requirements not met” message when trying to join cross-server guilds—that’s normal.

So, if you’re eyeing a guild from another server, just hang tight for two weeks until the system catches up.

2. How to Create or Join a Guild

You’ll find the Guild tab under the Camp section, where your Treasures and Talents also live.

  • Creating a Guild:
Costs 1,000 gems. Once created, start inviting others.
  • Renaming a Guild:
Also costs 1,000 gems. So think ahead before choosing a name!
  • Joining a Guild:
If you’re not part of a guild, you’ll see the option to browse and apply.

3. Guild Donations – A Must-Do Daily

Inside your guild, you’ll see a Donate button. Here’s how it works:

  • You can donate up to five times per day.
  • First donation is free, then the rest cost 5, 10, 15, and 20 gems respectively.
  • Each donation gives you:
    • 100 Guild Coins
    • 100 Guild Energy (used to level up your guild)
    • Flame points, which represent your individual contribution

Why donate?

  • As your guild levels up, you’ll unlock better rewards and features in the Guild Shop.
  • You also increase your Flame total, helping your guild grow faster.

4. Guild Ranks & Management

Each guild can have:

  • 1 Leader
  • 2 Vice Leaders

Want to promote someone new? You’ll have to remove a current vice leader first. It’s a manual swap, so no accidents will happen without your confirmation.

If you’re the Guild Leader and want to leave, you must first transfer leadership to someone else.

5. Guild Boss – The Real Challenge

Now for the most exciting part: Guild Boss Battles!

Basic Rules:

  • You get 3 attempts per boss.
  • You can only use each hero and treasure twice total across those 3 tries.
  • This means you need to strategize your team setups—especially for the third run.

Rewards:

  • Every time the boss is defeated (by any guild member), everyone gets the reward chest.
  • Chests can include:
    • Guild Coins
    • Gold
    • Gems
    • (Potentially other rewards in the future)

There’s also a personal damage ranking for bragging rights, and once you beat the seventh boss, your guild earns server-wide guild rankings. These may come with extra rewards later on.

6. Guild Etiquette & Best Practices

Should you make your own guild?

  • Only do this if you’re sure people will join and stay active.
  • Otherwise, it’s much better to join an existing, active guild.

Why join a powerful guild?

  • The stronger your guildmates, the more rewards everyone earns from bosses and other events.
  • Try to join a guild where most members are at your power level or higher.

If you’re stuck in a low-activity guild:

  • Consider leaving, merging, or inviting others to join you in a more active community.

7. Unlocking the Guild Tab

Don’t see the Guild tab?

  • It might be locked behind your account progress (likely linked to the Growth Journey).
  • The game should tell you what you need to unlock it.

8. Weekly Guild Quests

Every week, there are Guild Quests based on:

  • How many times you raid the boss
  • Total damage dealt

These quests reward you with additional Guild Coins, so be sure to participate regularly.
