How the Ingredient System Works
The event uses server-wide Goblin announcements to let players know where ingredients have appeared.
When an Ingredient Spawns
- You’ll see a chat message like:
“A Goblin has spawned at Mush Grove Swamp!”
- This message appears in the server’s global chat whenever a Goblin spawns.
- Each Goblin is tied to one Witch Ingredient.
Once you see the message, head immediately to that island to claim it — Goblins can despawn after a short time.
Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Ingredients
Step 1: Wait for the Chat Announcement
Stay active in your server and watch for a line in the chat announcing a Goblin spawn.
Example: “A Goblin spawned on Mush Grove Swamp!”
Each Goblin location corresponds to a unique Witch Ingredient.
Step 2: Travel to the Announced Island
Once you know the island name, travel there quickly using your boat or teleport portals.
The Goblin will usually appear in a visible open area near landmarks or structures.
Step 3: Find the Goblin
Look for a small glowing creature (green or purple hue).
Interacting with it opens a short dialogue or task.
Goblin Challenges and Tasks
Each Goblin requires a small challenge to be completed before handing over the ingredient.
Example Challenge: Mush Grove Swamp
When the Goblin appears here, interact with it.
The Goblin may ask you to type a specific phrase into chat, such as:
goblins rule!!!
(That’s “goblins rule” followed by three exclamation marks.)
Once you type it correctly, the challenge completes, and the Goblin gives you a Witch Ingredient.
Challenges may differ slightly between Goblins — some might involve typing, simple actions, or timing-based inputs.
Step 4: Return the Ingredient to Beatatrix
After earning an ingredient:
Go back to Crook’s Hallow (event island).
Find Beatatrix the Witch near her cauldron.
Interact with her to insert the ingredient into the cauldron.
Each deposit grants a reward — such as candy, spins, or event cosmetics.
You’ll need to repeat this process for every ingredient in her list.
